Lowes - UPSET CONSUMER
I BOUGHT DRYER FROM LOWES IN ATHENS GEORGIA, PAID GOOD MONEY FOR IT. LAST WEDNESDAY IT STOPPED DRYING MY CLOTHES. I CALLED THE PROTECTION WARRANTY PEOPLE AND THE SCHEDULED TECH PRO PLUS TO COME OUT ON FRIDAY BETWEEN 1-5PM. NOBODY SHOWED UP OR CALLED ME. I CALLED THEM AGAIN AND THEY RESCHEDULED ME FOR TUESDAY BETWEEN 8-12, NOBODY SHOWED UP OR CALLED. I CALLED THEM AT 1PM AND THEY LIED AND SAID THEY SCHEDULED ME FROM 1-5. I HAVE E-MAIL THEY SENT ME AND IT SAYS 8-12. NOBODY HAS CALLED OR SHOWED UP. WHAT THE *** DO I HAVE TO DO TO GET MY DRYER FIXED.
Lowes in Atlanta, Georgia - Deck Nightmare!!!!!!
It took us 3 years to make a final decision on getting someone to do our deck. We signed a contract on May 3, 2014 with Lowes to get our deck done. We had very clear instructions on what we wanted; it is July 28, 2014 and we have yet to receive that deck. Lowes subcontracted their companies to do the work which is fine. However, if the service is going to be mediocre that is a problem. The first contractors went over everything with us and when it was time to get started, they were running behind and when they arrived, there was no project manager only the workers that only spoke Spanish. They were asking my husband what were they supposed to be doing?? Really, aren't they supposed to know? Also, they came to our home with someone else's plans not ours. My husband sent them away and we requested them to get another company that could handle the job. It took them weeks to resolve that issue, now we have the second company, they have torn down the deck, we had a dumpster in our driveway for a week, it was full so they took it away. But, they had more stuff to go in the dumpster and it is sitting in my driveway for the 2nd week now. It is a mess and no one has answers, they will not call us, we contact them. We have been getting the run around since we signed this contract. They come to work when they decide to we have had to tell the same people over and over again how we want our deck and I am so over it! I am so unhappy about how this has been handled! This deck is over $8000!!! When we try to get someone on the phone we get transferred and we have people telling us that it is not their responsibility. I will never deal with this company again!
Lowes - Review about Overcharge from Bayonet Point, Florida
Over charged. Price tag was 27% lower than register. Customer service never got off there butt to check price. They both just said well it's not in the sales flier. Had to push to get my money back. Not to smart when Home Depot has the lower price next door. New port richey fl

You go to lowes ,cont get waited on you to look for help then that ppl dont care n that is why we need a home depot !!!!! You have the ppl standing around talking to each other!!!! If we had a home depot I would never shopp lowes nver again!!!lowes are to high on price!!!!this is Rockingham store!!!!
Lowes - One of the guys that build your sheds
you have a guy working out of sac,cal for back yard builders his name is alan sparks. alan talks people out of putting in sky lights and ridge vents after they have already bought them because he doesn't feel like putting them in. he also takes drip edge with him to jobs that don't call for it and tries to sell it to them for 50 dollars. he goes in peoples houses to use the bathroom knowing he isn't aloud in side, he has been fired for that before but back yard builders just has him work under another name. I would like to be left out of it but I thought you should know what was going on. thank you
Lowes in Martinsburg, West Virginia - Why you can't get service
When you try to get service at my local Lowes in Martinsburg WV, and can't get any, here is why. They schedule 1 person per department and expect that employee to help everyone, answer the phone and run to other departments when the bell is pushed. Some departments are easier to do this in then others but departments like appliances, Millwork, Lumber, Kitchen cabinets, it becomes impossible to help everyone. When customers are wanting a new door installed, cabinets installed or buy a new refrigerator, it is not a 2 minute sale. Setting up an install and selling a new door to a customer can take 30 to 60 minutes to finish up (that is if you don't have to answer the phone). I used to work at Lowe's and worked at several other locations. A couple of the locations were slower in sales than the Martinsburg store yet they had more people per department. The manager there is more concerned about getting customers to get a credit card with Lowe's than making sure that their shopping needs are met. When I started with Lowe's, it was all about greeting and helping out customers. Now it is all about how many credit card applications the store can get. It doesn't even matter if the customer is approved for credit, just apply. The hero's of the store are the people that get lots of applications, not in helping out customers and getting sales! WOW
Lowes in Ocala, Florida - Customer Issue
My name is William Lee, I am an Asst Manager at Lowes in Ocala Fl. I have a customer who has an issue with his laminate floor, which he installed, and is wanting a call from the claims department. I have faxed over his information twice, at the claims departments request. He has still not been contacted and is very upset. His contact number is 352-361-1301 (Mobile) and home number is 352-861- 2362. Please have someone contact him concerning his issue. Customer has been patiently waiting for a lengthy period of time and does not understand why he cant receive a call from customer service...
Lowes - Complete Lack of Customer Service
I recently ordered some items online and chose the option to pick them up in the store. These weren't items that needed to be shipped from anywhere - they were in stock at the store, according to the website. I placed the order the night before and intended to get the merchandise on my way home from work the next day and get back home so we could finish our project quickly that evening. According to the order confirmation I could pick up the items at Customer Service. So I went to the customer service counter with my ID and order confirmation. Nothing was there. The customer service employee diddled around on a computer for 15 minutes and could find nothing. I asked why it was that the items weren't waiting for me at the counter, and she didn't know. 20 minutes later she said she would go back to "the dock" and look for my order. I told her the items were in the store, they hadn't been mailed, but she went to the dock anyway. After another 10 minutes she came back and said she couldn't find them and nobody else was working back there. Finally I said to just credit me for the online order and I would go get the items myself. That took me about 2 minutes - like I said, it was merchandise that they already had in stock. So my "quick" trip to Lowes ended up being nearly an hour, and I still had to get the items myself. The customer service rep said she'd investigate and get back to me - but I haven't heard word one from anyone. Shoddy customer service, and a waste of my time. I'll be shopping somewhere else next time.
Lowes in Port Charlotte, Florida - Had the same experience!
My husband and I found out the same thing. He must provide a dd214 his state issued drivers license wasn't enough. Since we have taken our business to Home Depot and Ace where all Vets are treated the same! Its a shame that they are able to advertise such a deceptive method to deceive customers. There was a vet in line behind us that told the cashier that he felt the same way. If they only catered to wounded vet then they should say that up front otherwise its a hoax. This is sad because we have always liked Lowes, but not anymore
