Lowes in Latham, New York - Warranty
Purchased a brand new combo oven and microwave after 1 week it didn't work this was January it was purchased as a clearance so I got a good deal saved about $475.000 Lowes said they would replace the unit after 3 months having repair men at my house then they said after 6 months they would refund my money!!' We'll I paid $350 to have it installed and cut up a$2,000 cabinet I was mad talked to mike Patterson a lowes employee who called corporate finally they gave me my combo the catch is I've spent millions in the store in Latham ny or corporate wouldn't have did this,,, keep in mind 7 months to get my oven working don't buy from lowes stay away I shop at HD now I will say mike Patterson is the only bright spot at lowes he even gave me $150.00 cash to help pay for the install ,,, lowes corporate stinks and so dose there Custumer service 7 months of horror
Lowes in San Jose, California - Employment issues and training
Was approached, after 6 months, that there was attendance problem. What was not taken into consideration was that someone had changed my schedule numerous times and had me coming in all hours that were contradictory to my actual schedule. I was never informed that I was to dispute these changes and the person who was changing my schedule was the very one who stated they were taking care of the changes. So now there is a write up regarding the attendance and somehow I have to try and document the changes in the schedule for 6 months. This is what I call overload and overboard. Lowes is a wonderful company with poor people who go against the grain of Lowes and make up their own policies and procedures. They feel they can do what they want and they themselves can make another person's life miserable and NEVER get caught. Unfortunately, alot of larger companies, who have hired the complicated people never do catch up with any of them until it is too late.

I had the same problem with the Lowe's in Sanford NC. What bothers me about this terribly ambiguous, confusing and inequitable policy management and execution is that it amounts to a bait and switch behavior on Lowe's part. Not to mention the embarrassing experience in dealing with them. I'm through with them.
Lowes in Nitro, West Virginia - Can't find my order
They send me an email and said my order was ready to pick up. Drive an hour and spend $30 in gas and they say they can't find it. Manager calls an hour later and says he found it (too far to go back for it). A few days later, another hour's drive and another $30 in gas and standing in the store while they explain that they can't find my order AGAIN. What do you do with people like this? They're the only game in town and they know it. I can't have it delivered because it is too big. Feeling helpless.
Lowes Delivery Service Review
I waited 3 days for my refrigerator delivery and it never came. Each time they guaranteed it was coming and never called me to tell me it wasn't. It was unbelievably shocking and the rudeness of the customer service people was horrible!
Campbellsville Kentucky lowes. There is a guy that works in lights, he is disgusting his overall appearance when he smiles is rotted teeth he has been the manager of 89 lumber And he is the manager of the lights at Lowes in Campbellsville. I being a former manager finds this trouble some. His son is trouble lives by me I am a home owner never going back to Lowes my bill is paid Home Depot here I come. Greg Ramsey
Lowes in Chesterfield, South Carolina - No kitchen for five weeks and counting
We gave lowes 73000 on april 2 8 weeks later after we a complaint to corporzte thdy stzrted thd job. They started and here we are five weeks with no kitchen and nobody has bedn here for 1w days and they will not be here for4 mord days our life is a nighmare we have had to retain an attorney we cant deal with this anymore lolol lowes cares lololol that is nobody has worked here for 15 days lowes delivered the wrong materials so many times that when contractorx did show up here they didnt have the correct supplies. Wrong siding is on my house crown molding vor ccabinets is 4 inches wide the space between the top of my cabinets is less than 2 inches
Bad Working Experience Review
Lowes is the worst company to work for. Imwas a delivery driver and was fired for smoking on my lunch break. My store was 2780 the manager is Brett German. I could understand if I got fired for smoking on the truck. However I was on my lunch break outside the truck and got fired. The part im really upset about is that 1 of the other drivers was pulled over in the company truck and got a dui. And he kept his job. Now mr lowes what I did was on my own lunch. And what I do on my lunch is my business. So mr Brett German what I did put no 1 in danger. What the driver who got the dui put everyone on the road at risk of being killed or hurt. Now question 2 who signed the truck off to let the driver drive a truck drunk. If a cop smelled it on him how could the mod not smell it. That mod should be just as responsible if the drunk truck driver hurt or killed someone. The mod Brett germa should be fired at once. Not only that the driver's have been asked by the mod not to take a lunch break, they asked us to submit a lunch punch card to keep them out of trouble. Now saying that I loved being a delivery driver for lowes. I would like to have my job back. I was unfairly treated. If they were to ask anyone who went on the truck with me they would of told them I never smoked on the truck.one person say me outside of the truck smoking on my lunch. That a.m I was fired I had my lunch slip in my pocket to turn it in already filled out before I knew about being fired. I tried to hand it to the manager and he refused to look at it and threw back at me. I am trying to get my job back without using a lawsuit. Bec I don't want to just get paid I want to work for my money. I was advised by a lawyer to file a lawsuit against lowes to get PAID CASH. I just want to work I want to be treated fairly and I don't think I was treated fair. Not compared to the drunk truck driver which by the way was on his final write up. Like I said I want to keep this out of the court system. I have however paid a 25000 retainers fee to fight for my job. I guess managers don't think an employee has that kind of money. I do have it and I will fight for whats right.
Be careful in ordering flooring from Lowes
Be careful of how your are being charged. We were looking to upgrade our guest bedroom and wanted to our end carpet. Having been in the industry we went in knowing there will be waste as carpet is manufactured in 12ft widths. Where they get you is on the sundries. It is reasonable to expect charges for items such as furniture moving @ $60.00 per room, padding @ .85 a sf, needed for any install and removal of carpet @ .36 a sf. All of these including the $35.00 for site measurement which is credited toward the order. Seems reasonable and standard business practice. What becomes a perception of hidden extra costs is the calculation of the extras. Fixed costs such as furniture moving and site visits are fine. However the calculations for removal and padding are based on what you PURCHASE! So the waste that you are purchasing on the carpet becomes unearned profit for Lowes! For example if you purchase 260 sf for a room but the actual room is 212 sf the 48 sf of removal (which is not there) and padding which comes in six foot widths are really hidden costs. I personally do not pay for items I do not use. This coupled with the fact that the estimator had the incorrect carpet on the order (most expensive)' always get a medium carpet and better padding, it saves lists of dollars and performance does not suffer, resulted in an increase of over 25% from the original estimate. No sale for you Lowes..... Be honest, be straight, train your sales people.....carpet is a commodity, it is all made in NW Georgia in about five plants. No big differences her except service and honesty. No sale for you Lowes!

Very helpful not really sure if he is the store manager but he is in mgmt basically accused me of moving merchandise in clearance price section on shelf did not honor the price and was very rude told me he didnt require the team membera to zone and if the item didnt fit basically put it anywhere o said well you need to tell them as well pull the the price if its wrong it seems to me lowes just hires whoever nothing is ever in the right price and that price guarantee needs to definitely be removed they dont honor it lowes home office needs to pay a visit or hire mystery shoppers
