Lowes review in Hartford, Connecticut: Delivery nightmare
I bought both a dishwasher and a stove from Lowe's in Bloomfield this summer. They have a third party company do their delivery. The company is fine, it is Lowe's that does not give a drat about its customer nor their inept way of doing business. In both cases, the product did not make its way without me screaming or it was just the wrong product, as in the case of the stove. I had to work with the management and both times they treated me as if I had all of the time in the world at my disposal...like "making another " appointment was nothing. Maybe their customers do not work for a livng Go to Home Depot. These folks did not do enough to make sure that the products were given to the customer in a good fashion You know, we used to have a small hardware store in town and they would order things special for their customers, I miss them
Lowes - Olympic Rescue It Paint Review from Saratoga Springs, New York
I am really pissed regarding the color chips on chart. I purchased the color Gooseberry and painted sidewalk. It came out bubblegum pink. I brought back said Rescue It and was told it would be different on cement. REALLY!!! He, the paint guy darkened it twice. It is nowhere the color of Gooseberry and I was told that if he darkened it any more, it would not dry. So guess I threw away thirty five dollars and got a pink sidewalk. That will be the last time I purchase any paint at Lowes. I will ALWAYS go back to Sherwin Williams. My husband has painted at least an acre of walls, etc. and this is the first time this has happened. There was a customer looking at the Rescue It. I told him to very careful. He thanked me very much and said he would do research on product.
Lowes review: Review about Riding Mower
I purchased a troy bilt riding mower last year and within 3-4 months the transmission went out. After dealing with the request for money as fees Lowes finally had it repaired. This week the mower is displaying the same issue.... haven't had the mower for one full season without issues. Guess Lowes does not stand behind their products. Buyer beware... go to another retailer.
Lowes review in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania: Terrible Customer Service
Ordered paint online and tried to pick it up three times. The website said the paint was ready for immediate pick up. Waited in line for 20 minutes to be told that Internet orders aren't mixed until the customer shows up. What it the point of ordering online?!? They were busy as usual and only had one person working (as usual), so I told them I would return the next day to pick up the paint. Stood in line again for 20+ minutes, only to be told the paint wasn't mixed yet for the second time and that it would take at least another 30 minutes for it to be done again. The third time, I stood in line for 25 minutes because only one person was working again. This time they couldn't make the paint at all because one of their mixing machines was broken. (They could make gallon sizes only.) Talked to the manager who said that the paint count ALWAYS has THREE people working but that has NEVER been my experience shopping there for the past few years. It is only one person with visitations by a second person. Cancelled the online order and will get something similar at Home Depot. I am so sick and tired of dealing with this store. They used to have great customer service but the past two have been TERRIBLE. Don't waste your time at: Harrisburg, PA 4000 Union Deposit Rd. Harrisburg, PA 17109, Store #0522 Go to the Harrisburg East Lowes or Home Depot off Jonestown road instead so you don't waste your time. Similar experiences with ALL departments at this store.
Lowes review in Virginia Beach, Virginia: Service
Have an extended warranty on my refrigerator. Called for service as refrig is not working. First appointment they could give me was two days later. Stayed home all day and no one came. Called back and was told the service tech wouldn't be there for 10 days. When i complained about going 10 days without the use of my frig was assured that that was not acceptable and that a supervisor would call me by the end of the next day. Still waiting for that call. Called back. After a 11 minute hold, was connected to a supervisor who could only say that they had an appointment for me and that there was no way to file a formal complaint. It was rather amazing that I called a service tech and he came out within a few hours and fixed my frig. at my expense. So call me *** for ever buying the extended warranty and call me a former Lowe's custormer
Lowes - Replacement Review from Sioux Falls, South Dakota
I ordered a range and washer and dryer on the 11 of July got range on the 19th and was damaged got replacement on the 6th of August with 100.00 off nice then was told washer and dryer would be delivered on the 9th was called on the 8th AND didn't now where they were. 5 different people so many different dates they had my money on the 11th of July needed washer and dryer for wife had cancer treatment and now I'm going to home depot LOWE'S can *** the BIG one don't shop there services suck
Lowes is horrible to work for!!
I always thought lowes would take care of its employees but I could not have been more wrong. Firstly I've worked there for 5 years and have never been so disrespected by a company as I have been by lowes. My insurance was changed to a new company and basically dropped any part of my insurance that I really needed and I was poorly informed and was given no options to do anything about it. When I brought it to the attention of the hr manager she acted Let she could care less and it wasn't her problem. I strongly discourage anyone from working there!!
Lowes review: FAILED DELIVERIES, FIVE TIMES AT A LOSS OF $2,000
I ordered a large lumber delivery from Lowes and was promised a delivery date. I have a crew of three at a cost of $150.00 an hour standing by awaiting delivery. The driver called and said he could not be here before 5:00 p.m. so I told him to redeliver the next day. That's four hours, $600.00 out of pocket for me. The second day, my crew is here at noon again. The driver called to say he had an accident and dropped a bunch of windows and could not be here again. Another day, another $600.00 loss for me. The third day, my crew was here again. No one arrived all day, and Lowes did not call. We called them, and they had no record of my order at all! This is a third missed appointment and another $600.00. They finally arrived on the 4th attempt. Here is is two weeks later, and we ordered another load of lumber and and scheduled delivery for Tuesday, 8/12. My crew is here again. They did not arrive and did not call. A fourth $6000 loss. On Wednesday 8/13 we called and asked what happened to our delivery. Four hours later, manager Eric called to say that their notes had delivery for 9/12. We explained we had been on the phone all day Friday August 8 and had been assured the 8/12 delivery date. They apparently had a typo and entered 9/12 instead of 8/12 on their delivery schedule. The manager absolutely refused to assist. The soonest he would agree to deliver is one week later, Tuesday 8/19. Now I have a crew for 8 hours a day at $1,200 a day for four more days doing nothing and my project is behind a week. NEVER USE LOWES THEIR PROCESS, THEIR MANAGEMENT AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST IN THE WORD
