Lowes in Springfield City, Ohio - Refrigerator nightmare

My wife purchased a Samsung refrigerator on June 20/2019, was to b delivered on 6/21, refrigerator arrived damaged, had to refuse, while here delivery guy measured our opening & determined would fit thru. Had to wait 3 days for another.this time a different delivery guy came & said it would not fit thru opening( I think he was full of crap) so no frig again! Wife went back picked out another frig to be delivered on 6/27, we received a call stating frig was damaged & would not be delivered, DONE with Lowes! Never fo business w them again!!!!!!

Who was that carrier and how was it delivered? Do they claim it was delivered into your home or was it something someone like UPS left on your porch?

If it was something you had delivered to your porch have you even thought it could have been stolen off your porch? Porch theft of packages is frequently on the news and you may be looking at theft rather than fraud.

ordered a patio door and front door to be installed. order was placed sept. of 2018. this is june of 2019, and as of yet the front door has not been replaced. to tell my experience with the store in murrells inlet, s.c. would be pages and pages of wrong orders, damaged orders, wrong colors, sizes etc., and the list goes on. central production is a joke, corporate is a joke, management in this store is a joke. never again will I step foot in another lowes, and I will continue to tell my story everyday to anyone who will listen. don't walk from lowes, run, run, run.

Maybe the door installers have been having too much fun playing at the beach. I passed through Myrtle Beach, South Carolina once on one of my Greyhound misadventures and the road that the bus was traveling down had all these roads leading down to the beach and I could see all of the happy looking people going to and from there and it looked awesome! I should have gotten off of the bus and went and had fun at the beach and then continued on my Greyhound misadventure another day.

I bought a $1500 riding mower and was told to submit the rebate form for a rebate which I did. I then received a letter saying the receipt did not indicate a qualifying offer and to resubmit which i did. A week later I received another letter saying the receipt did not indicate a qualifying offer so I called customer care and they said I needed to include a copy of the receipt which I did for both submissions. after I received the second letter I just gave up. I think that is what they wanted.

Lowes in Roselle, Illinois - Close account

I open up an account with lowes in April 17, 2019 made my payments on time didnt max my 3000 dollar limit. I got an alert from credit karma saying my account was closed. I call the card and they said my credit score went down well it was ip when ypu issued the card and yes it did go down because i applied for other loans that i was approved for and pay on time. What give lowes the right to review. My credit again without my permission

First of all, you didn't have an account with Lowes but an independent credit company. It's obvious that you didn't take time to read the credit agreement you signed when you opened the account.

If you had, you would be aware that it said that they will check your credit rating from time to time and adjust your limits as your credit changes. If your credit score goes up, they would,ld increase your limits. If your score goes down, so does your limit.

You obviously opened too many accounts and spent too much for them to be comfortable with. Blame yourself for taking on so much debt.

What assumptions are you talking about. Read any credit account agreement and you will find that you give the account holder the right to review your credit.

The post state that they opened other loans as well as the card and that their credit rating went down as a result.

It is obvious the the company that holds their Lowes account wasn't comfortable with the amount of credit that had been extended and closed the account. People need to take time and learn about using credit and proper borrowing habits.

Not sure why you would end up paying for "a job half-done"with no avenue for recourse. Perhaps you paid them in full prior to installation?

If so, big mistake. You may be able to sue Lowe's in small claims court. Check it out. Lowe's will deny any liability as they didn't make the windows nor do they employ the installer---they are sub-contractors used by Lowe's for these jobs and are supposed to carry their own insurance, etc.

When you go to a big box store and have construction work done, be aware that the big box store will try to ignore your problems and deny any culpability, blaming the sub or the manufacturer.

Check out the small claims court filing. They have a maximum dollar limit, depending on your state.

Gotta say, Mitchell.. From your post, it sounds like you never pay full price or discounted price.

You always want a special deal.

If you have managed retail as you say, you know they make zero money on your loyal patronage. They would probably love it if you switch to another vendor.
