Lowes in Bloomington, Indiana - Cracked tub

Same as others. The tub has been installed since 2009 and repaired 5 times. NO MORE. I am replacing it now. I am tired of the cracks. The company sent a rep to repair 3 times for cracks in the bottom. The warranty was a joke. No service people within 200 mile of Indiana. Now it going to cost me for a new tub and the bathroom repair as well. To tear out and install a BETTER tub is going to cost $2300. POS tub. I agree , I don't see how this place stays in business and I have to complained to both Lowe's and Menard's about the product.

So you complained to Menards about this huh? What did they do for you?

Your problem stems from a poor installation. Patching a tub that is shifting around will only last so long before it happens again.

Lowes in Agua Fria, New Mexico - Worst Ever Order Online Store Pickup Experience

I ordered several items from Lowes online. Thirty minutes later I received an e-mail stating that my order was ready for pick up. I went to the store to pick up. When I arrived they had no idea about the order. I then agreed to let them pull the order while I waited. Thirty minutes later I was told that several of the items on the order were not in stock. They did not even bother to offer an apology or offer a substitute or a discount. Lowes has the worst online ordering system and the worst customer service ever.

Lowe's SUCKS Just got there weekly add. Sale on Patio sets, Call Lowe's, We don't stock either sets, let me find store that does.

Sorry no stores in your area has inventory, or stocks these sets.

Can you order, Sure we can. I can get table, can't get chairs.

We hardly ever and of the company's weekly add items in stock, they are to cheap and we can't make any money on them.

That was the sales persons comment. I will never go to another lowe's store.

Good luck shopping there

Did you make sure you chose the correct pick up location? Did you call the store before you went to make sure the order was ready? As far as I am concerned the store did an excellent job trying to help with a sale they made no money on.

Lowes in Boston, Massachusetts - Uncooperative honoring manufacturers warranty

I bought a Soleus Air dehumidifier from Lowe's in July '13 that did not work when I tried to run it in May '14. The manufacturer has a one year warranty and says they will work with Lowe's, who no longer carries the brand, to arrange a reimbursement for the nonfunctioning dehumidifier if I take it back to the Lowe's where I got it and have then call the manufacturer. Lowe's refuses to call the manufacturer and basically said it was my problem since I didn't purchase their extended warranty (two different people said this several times about the extended warranty sold by Lowe's). I didn't get the extended warranty because I knew the product was warranted for a year by Soleus. Lowe's did not tell me they would not help me get that refund if I did not buy their warranty. The store is in Hadley, MA.

Warranty calls to the manufacturer are the consumer's responsibility, not the retailer. Stop being lazy and call them yourself.

Soleus air had a big recall on their dehumidifiers. Lowes should be able to give you the 800 number to call.

The recall is handled directly through Soleus air and not through the stores. Call and see if yours qualifies.

Hate to burst your bubble but the manufacturer was actually delivering that door. If the store had received a 16ft door by the time you got it it would have likely been folded in half twice over.

How many days a week do you work? I get two days off every week. They probably deliver by location.

They deliver 7 days a week. Why take a day off at all?

Lowes delayed my kitchen construction for almost two months

My family moved into a new house in April, and decided to renovate the kitchen and make it a culinary chef's dream. Out first mistake was not going to a professional kitchen design company for consultation. Instead we went to a shitshow of a place: Lowes. Things started getting sour from the very beginning with the in house interior designer was already getting confused with measurements. Mind you, she was the slowest worker I had come to know and had no respect for other people's schedules. Then, a few weeks later, they lost the kitchen cabinets (go figure) and blamed us for being impatient. Those kitchen cabinets were to be installed weeks ago and there was no news of its whereabouts. We had to keep calling and asking for updates. We have been eating out of paper plates and ordering take out food…mind you having to wash kitchen appliances in the bathtub since we don't have a sink or an oven installed either. During the period of time Lowes lost our cabinets, which set the construction about 2 weeks back, there were some contractors from Lowes gone on vacation, so there was no one to finish the existing work that still needed attention. The service and guidance throughout this entire project has been a complete nightmare, and they continue to delay the kitchen as we wait to unpack and start living in our new home. I am a person who is almost always empathetic towards mishaps. However, it has been too long, and the people working there have been causing so much inconvenience to my family. I urge anyone remotely considering of Lowes for a big renovation project to avoid their services. It is honestly one of the most unprofessional and irresponsible companies I have ever had to deal with.

Lowes in Clayton, North Carolina - Injury

My dad was injured by a piece of wood at Lowes. Pieces slid and mashed his finger so bad it required stitches to stop bleeding. He was told they would cover the doctor visit and any future problems. It has been 2 months and he still doesn't have reimbursement and was told he had to send a signed form releasing them of everything to get the money. It's not handled by the store and the lady claims she hasn't got the form when we've sent it several ways. Employees were nice, but God help you getting reimbursed if you are injured. Wondering if we may need to hire a lawyer. This is ridiculous.

Anonymous is 100% Correct! I love to lift weights!

One day I join a gym and on that day I accidentally dropped a Dumbbell on my foot would I expect the GYM to cover my injuries that I caused to myself?

The answer is no! The only way Lowes is Liable is if it was caused by them which from what I've read it most likely was caused by your Dad shuffling wood around.

It always amazes me that people that feel they have to sort through stacks of lumber enough to cause the next row to tip over feel they need to be compensated because they were hurt by something they caused. Wood doesn't just jump out and hit you. I'd feel like a fool asking someone to pay for an injury I caused to myself.

Lowes in Murphy, North Carolina - Appliance Repair

I purchased a whole houseful of appliances from Microwave all the way to washer/dryer. We also purchased the extended service. What I thought was top end stuff. The Fridge - Whirlpool was replaced within a year and now we are 3 weeks with no fridge. Customer Service is lost and confused and we can not get any answers. They took my appliance to the local store and they give me no answers. When will I get my fridge back. Can you tell me. We have spent a lot of money at the local store here in Murphy NC and think that this is a real poor way to take care of a customer. Find my fridge or give me a new one. 813-625-9374.

Lowes in Omaha, Nebraska - Terrible service installing hardwood stairs......still waiting for an answer!

I have been a regular customer of Lowes for over 15 years and live in Elkhorn Nebraska which I consider part of Omaha. Anyway, I ordered $10,000 worth of flooring along with installation. This also included 6 stairs leading from the front door to the main floor. The main floor has been beautifully completed by Midwest Flooring. They were also scheduled to do the stairs which includes bull nose planks. I have been waiting over 3 weeks for the bull nose pieces. The Lowes in Elkhorn has already received 2 separate special order pieces direct from the factory and they still cannot match the color correctly. This is after sending the factory a plank of the exact color. Ironically, they created all of the wood. Now since Lowes and the manufacturer can't get their act together, I was told by the Lowes inside sales manager today that they may have to install plain bull nose pieces and then have them stained, BUT there may be an additional cost to me....the customer! I am at wits end waiting for my stairs to be completed. Next time I will NOT go to a big box store for specialty work like floors, but rather to a company that specializes in only floors and has material in hand! Sadly, you simply become a number.

They could have just installed what they were sent and called it good. You are mucky they care enough to try to get a color match for you.

Awful Customer Service Review

Lowes used to be my store but their customer service is awful now. Just one register is open and self checkout is a nightmare. Bought a bath vanity on line. As they were loading I notice the box caved in so I opened and yes it was cracked into. This is only one incident. I'm done with them.
