Lowes review in Old Town, Maine: 5 Hours late for delivery!!!

I bought my dryer 5 days ago and when I went to schedule the delivery I had to make it for Friday afternoon since I had to take an unpaid afternoon off work. My delivery was scheduled between 12pm and 4pm because they don't schedule any deliveries after 4pm since their guys need to punch out at 5pm. It is 8:15pm and supposedly my dryer is on the way now. After 3 calls to management asking what is going on!!! Their customer complaint department didn't even keep their promises. I guarantee my stove will not come from Lowes. RUDE RUDE RUDE

It may be hard to believe but you probably were not the only person having something delivered that day. I just feel awful that you were so inconvenienced.

Lowes installers stole wedding band and food from pantry

Purchased carpets and laminates from Augusta GA store and the installers stole my husband's wedding band, ate two boxes of oreos out of my pantry (and left the empty containers in the pantry), opened a new box of popcorn and took 2 bags, left off the closet doors they removed to install the carpets, and did not haul off the old flooring. We contacted Lowes and the installer miraculously found the ring at the bottom of a dumpster. However, the ring was in a room flooring was not even being installed in, so it would have never ended up in a dumpster. The lead installer returned the ring and when shown where the ring was, stated "I've obviously been lied too and I apologize". Spoke to him about the closet doors and had to call 3 times to have those reinstalled. He then began to argue with my husband that his installers would never do that. I guess they just jumped off the hinges themselves then. Have been trying to get install fees refunded, but Lowes says the best they can do is a lousy $300. I paid almost $6,000 in flooring and installation. When I went to get the $300, they wanted us to sign a waiver releasing them from all claims. We did not sign or get the $300. I will not settle for $300 for Lowes to get off scotch free and never have to fix my floors they installed if there are issues. We have encountered the rudest and most terrible customer service from their executive offices and their local store locations. They obviously do not care about their customers. I have seen a ton of complaints from people from all of the US about their sorry customer service and it looks like it is never rectified. However, they claim that they take pride in their customer service. Lowes should be ashamed! I want a full refund!

The real question is why wasn't it on his hand? You have some nerve asking people who work hard to buy your floor. People like you think the world owes you. Wake up lady, they don't.

Your the kind people who always have a problem with others and try to abuse the system. Lowes did they right thing and you still acted like a ***.

You can not get a full refund for the flooring and installation if you keep the flooring. You need to look and see how much you paid for installing the floor and how much you were offered.

They did retrieve your husband's wedding band and they were offering you compensation for the food and for the behavior of the employee/s that stole from you. You did receive the product and have not said you are unhappy with the flooring that was installed or that they did anything wrong there.

While I would also be upset, the truth of the matter is that asking the store to compensate you for the behavior of their subcontractor's employee/s by giving you the flooring completely free is also wrong. You were offered an amount that would more than cover the food eaten and for the actions that caused such upset in your life.

Lowes customer service

Please be aware before you step into Lowe's or do any type of business with Lowe's. Even when you try to reacj Mr. Niblock-CEO of Lowe's, the phone is being answered by representaticves who claim to represent Mr. Niblock but talk like "puppets". They, products are inferior and thier customer service is "non existant". If you want to get a refund- just forget it, you might as well include that in your will because thats how long it would take. I would really like to know if Mr. Niblock is aware og how is name is being represented. BE AWARE>>>>BE VERY AWARE

Lowes review in Springfield, Massachusetts: Got cheaper fence than what I paid for

I ordered and paid from Lowes 7 panels of a Cedar stockade fence June 2 to be picked up by the guy who was going to be putting the Fence in. He went to pick up the fence and was there for over 2 hours while they tried to figure out what fence to give him ( he had the receipt with the fence # on it , too) He came to my house with a fence I didn't order. It looked nothing like the one I paid for. I liked it, so he put it up. I wasn't sure why I had gotten that particular style of stockade, but I trusted Lowes. I went by Lowes today to look at the fence I had installed to try to figure out what happened. I found out it was $6 a panel cheaper than the ones I originally paid for! Went back tonite - the style of the panels I ordered and paid for had been out of stock for awhile. Mmmm, the cashier who rang me up didn't know that? I want cedar ( original order) so that the fence would last linger and the cheaper ones that were installed were Cedar look- not Cedar! Btw, the original fence I paid for is still displayed outside as if they are still available. I still had my receipt and received a refund of $44. My point is that it clearly stated that I paid $50.97 originally on my receipt yet they substituted panels selling for $44.67 knowing I had paid more than that . Grrrrrrrr.. If I hadn't gone in and kept my receipt I would have overpaid $44 for a fence I thought was cedar but wasn't.mu

Lowes review in Wilmington, Delaware: Wheres my fence!

I recently purchased a home and needed a fence. I called lowes and they sent a sale rep out who was very nice, measured everything, and gave me a quote of $2899 for my fence. They told me the company they contract with would call to set up an appointment to verify the measurements. Once the measurements were confirmed the fence would be ordered and should take about two weeks to come in. The fencing company called and came out. The measurements were good and the fence ordered. About three weeks into the process I received a voicemail from my sales rep saying there was a hold placed on my account that he had not noticed. He apologized and said he placed a rush order on the fence. The fence should arrive in about 7-10 business days. After what was almost two months from the time I ordered the fence I called the Lowes store since my sales rep no longer worked for the company. I spoke with the sales manager who told me, "Your fence came in two days ago, the fencing installer should have called you. Don't worry I will call them now and call you right back." He called back to say he left a message with them, but that he would call me the next day to follow-up. Well that came and went. I called him back and explained that it's now been a full two months where is my fence. I explained that I had already began making payments on a fence I didn't have! He said they had the fence and that the installer needs to call me. At that point I was so angry because I was told I would be called at every step of the process and yet no one would tell me anything! I said I wanted to cancel the fence. He immediately responded, "Oh ok, I see you put it on your lowes credit card. No problem, we will refund your money and the payment you made. Just check your account in 24 hours to make sure it's canceled. Thank-you." And he hung up. I was floored, after 2 months that was it. I went to twitter and complained, lowes directed me to a site called ,"Rant or rave." I ranted and they said someone would call me. I never received a phone call. And as I typed this the fencing installer just called to confirm installation for june 25th. Really 3 months to get a fence? I just left a message explaining I canceled the fence and asking for a call back to confirm they got the message. I have never in my life had to deal with such incompetence. Now I'm stuck calling all different fence installers, and lowes has done nothing to follow-up and make sure this doesn't happen to someone else.

This is Lowes tactic of getting you off social media complaining. They direct you to this website they control that virtually no one visits.

They hope you use it instead of twitter. Don't fall for it.

This is why you go directly to a fencing company. Why put Lowes in the middle of the process? Bet you would have paid less going directly to a fencing company as well.

Lowes review in Tukwila, Washington: I bought a lemon mower

I bought a troy built tb160 with honda motor on 3-23-2013. used that summer-ran great. this spring i mowed the yard once, next week i mowed for about 2 minutes and it died, i checked everything, especially the oil level, plug, air filter. took to loses and they sent it off to get checked out-told me 2 weeks. 3.5 weeks later they call and say it has a broken connecting rod and no oil on the dipstick., and that it would be 350$ to fix. I KNOW IT HAD OIL WHEN I BROUGHT IT IN!!!!! they are just saying that so it won't be covered under warranty, i am not ***, i know how big companies work. i have always owned craftsman mowers- the last one ran 11 years and just died due to carb problems, thats why i bought this tb160 mower. i paid 250$ for it. Now what to do? wife said i should have bought a craftsman. she is right. i spend about 1000$ every year on tools for work and building supplies.i am on total boycott of lowes now. i have a home depot about 5 miles away that will get my business from now on. also when the lady at lows gave me the work paper copy and took my mower she kept my original receipt. didn't realize till later.

Lowes review in Havelock, North Carolina: Washing machine still broke

Washing machine still broke after 2 months. We are now over $1000 dollars of parts and on the 3rd service company coming out to fix it (yeah right). The last service tech said he was tired of wasting time and putting parts into the washer and still could not fix it. He said to call lowes and tell them to get another company to fix it. After talking to a lowes rep I was told I would get a call in 2 days to get a refund, well two weeks later I called and of course they did not have any records of the call so Chris (awesome supervisor NOT) said the best he can do is make another appt. to get it fixed. LOWES and SAMSUNG suck.

Lowes didn't make the washer. Samsung made the machine and is responsible for the warranty. It is Samsung you should be complaining about not Lowes.

Lowes review in Dayton, Ohio: Where is my delivery?

I decided to purchase a new microwave from Lowe's because they offered free delivery and haul away. So all day today I have stayed home waiting for the call that they are on their way. It is now 458 pm and still no show. I have called the manger on duty twice and both times he stated he would call me right back however he has failed to do so. This will be my last transaction with Lowe's as I have a Home Depot within a mile of my home that offers excellent customer service. I would have carted the microwave to the trash myself if I had known I was going to be put through a day of customer NO service.
