I had a bad experience with Lowes window installer missing a whole days work and pay what happened to the customer is always right.to start dealing with subcontractors now you in trouble because they don't care about the company nameit just worry about themselves and the next job they don't care about customer service for now on I'm only going to deal with family
Lowes - Va Card Review
I am a veteran, honorably discharged from the Air Force. Lowes says that they give a 10 percent discount to veterans. The proof they want is a VA card. I can't get a VA card because I don't have a disability or qualify for low income. However, I am justasuch a veteran as anyone else. If you served in the military, you are considered a veteran. YES OR NO???
Lowes Refused Vet ID card without photo.
A few months ago I was told by Lowes that as a veteran, I could receive a discount. I told them I would be happy to provide a copy of my DD214 along with a copy of my drivers license. This was not acceptable. I was then told that I'd have to provide a Veterans ID card which I had never heard of prior. I did some investigation online and found a veterans linked organization that provided such a card. There were two types of cards available one that needed a photo and one that didn't a a lesser price. I purchased the VET ID after submitting the relevant information and received it in about two weeks. My next trip to Lowes I provided the card as they requested. I was refused the discount again because it did not have a photo. It was very humiliating!! I served during the Vietnam War, their refusal was a slap in the face. The Lowes is located in the small town of Bartow, Florida. In my opinion, Lowes dishonors those that serve or that have served. What a disgrace!
We went into the store and could not find what we were looking for. We asked a gentleman and he said isle 33 which sounded like he was irritated or put out. Then when we were checking out my husband says "there's only one checker?" Then a lady says she can help you but it was for a self checkout. So my husband says "we actually like a real checker"...the lady yells back she can scan your stuff for you but she wasn't nice about it and she walked off. Needless To say we won't be going back and we told our checker that. Customer service is horrible there.
Lack of professionalism and honor of warranties sold | Lowes review from San Jose, California
1) Appliance Heros came on June 18! They were suppose to get the parts within 3 days. That means Friday or Monday June 20th or 22nd. They did not call me at all. I called them on Monday and they said it would come on Tuesday. No call from them. I called back again, they said on Tuesday it did not come in. Wednesday rolls around, no call from them. I call them and they tell me it finally came. Fine sure I'm being patient it happens. Because it's so late already they say they can come on Friday June 27. Finally they come on Friday. By now it's been 9 days. The technician can't fix it, he says it's the main board that's defective. He calls his supervisor and says the part is defective the family has been without a fridge for a week, can we expedite the order? The supervisor says yes ok I'll get it ordered and expedited. 2) I call on Monday June 30th to Appliance Repair Heroes. First they put me on hold and tell me the parts department is busy. Then after 1 hr I call back and say I'm still waiting. This woman named Lisa Desoux answers and tells me my part is due in on Wednesday. I get very upset as they promised expediting it on Monday. Now we're promised delivery by July 2nd (2 days before July 4th) I call Lowe's and am very upset. I told them I need it expedite it's going to be 4th of July and I need my fridge. I tell Lowe's that it is unacceptable I want my refrigerator fixed, it has been more than Lowe's tell me sorry Appliance Heroes are closed. I tell Lowes the story and they say they can't do anything until they contact Appliance Heroes. Still nothing from either businesses. Finally I get a call on Tuesday from Appliance Heroes saying that they cannot expedite it but want to schedule me in for Wednesday or Thursday. Appliance Repair Heroes tells me that they will try to get it to me and asks me for more flexibility. I tell them I can have someone home all day. Appliance Repair Heroes says great. On July 3rd, now it has been more than 15 days. I call them on July 3rd to ask what time they are coming, they said oh we're coming between 3-5 from what you told us originally. Ok what the heck?! I asked my family to stay home so you could have flexibility to come earlier! Ridiculous. Ok fine, I wait until 3-5, the technical comes over still can't fix the fridge, tells me that he will get his office to fax the paper in when he gets back. I call Lowe's and they tell me that they cannot accept my paper and need to contact Appliance Repair Heroes. Guess what?! As I said before I told Lowe's it's cutting too close to July 4th. 3) Now instead of accepting a copy of the paperwork from me so that you can replace my refrigerator, you want to call the Appliance Repair Heroes and get back to me in two business days. 4) Now I have been without a fridge for 19 days. By Tuesday July 8th it will have been 20 days! I am completely unsatisfied with your service.

They keep charging late fees from now on i am going to pay in the store I always paid online and my balance never goes down I am going to cancel this card ASAP. They are not solving my billing problem so I am not going to buy anything there anymore I am going to tell all my friends and family about this company this is not acceptable you see one thing online and a different and a different thing on you statement. I don't care if my credit score goes down because this company is taking money with not reason.

I was shopping today at Lowes Home Improvement and has a good many items in my cart. When I was being checked out,a welcome mat did not have a bar code on it. The person checking me our called that department several times, but no one answered. She left and another person took over. She too tried getting someone from that dept. several times. At that point a man walked by who I assume was some sort of supervisor. The woman who was checking me out told him the problem she was having and he told her to page a certain person and gave his name to her. She paged him but got no response. After she had paged him a few times, I finally realized I was not going to get a price . When I told her I was not going to continue to wait and to remove the mat from my cart, I could see she was relieved .This was a woman who was bored, uninterested in her job, and did not pretend to care whether I bought the mat .I will go to Home Depot the next time I need to purchase anything from this type of business, although they are probably as lax as Lowes.

Lowe's supposedly has a policy that requires state identification to use a credit card and will not accept my Government Issued Identifixation Card.

Does not live up to the B&G Quality Does not live up to the B&G Quality First day, assembly was easy and intuitive, the wheels fell off, plastic construction plastic axle pressure fit no positive way to keep the wheels attached. 2. Actually the motor and pump are great! 3. The pressure hose reel rubs on the plastic body, the pressure hose has a permanent coil and is hard to keep from tangling, the multi-nozzel is nice (buy one for your new washer) 4. the selector switch for the detergent dispenser is hard to turn, after the *** shaft broke I saw that it was made from plastic. 5. The clip on the machine for the spray wand, is cheep plastic (as is the whole unit) and broke when I bumped the sprayer handle while move the unit. Note: this is a Briggs & Stratton name product, they used to stand for quality, now I wonder.
Lowes want stand behind their glasstop ranges
I bought a Glasstop range 01-13. The glass cracked, and had white spots in glass, soon after purchase. I never dropped anything on it. Lowes Service Advantage want cover cooktops that crack. They will make you, out to be at fault. They like to sell you extended warranty's but they want stand behind them! Their service team, is the worst to deal with. Beware of wasting money on extended warranty for glasstop stoves! I am now spending my money at Sears. I want spend my cash in a poor service place like Lowes. I spoke to several customer care exec's. No help with my range. 110.00 wasted on extended warranty. I want buy no more glasstop stoves. I am getting a coil range.
