I bought the appliance in lowes one years ago and the appliance is damage four time. The service is horrible, because they fixes de the appliance but it's damage again and they said me will not replace the appliance. I will never buy anything in lowes again.

Its unfortunate that these large retail stores just do not buy into the fact that customer service is the key. I dont mind the price, I dont mind how the store looks, parking could be awful. But if you give me good customer service I will return. I bought lawn furniture to the tune of $2000+ and payed $75 for delivery up front. I received the message yesterday that my furniture was in the store but I had to call their delivery dept to make arrangements. I spend the better part of today, almost 8 hrs, trying to get hold of some one to get delivery arranged. I called the correct store, the right dept, only to listen to the phone ring umpteen times before I got bounced from one dept to another except the one I needed. Was finally told they would call me back. The person who called back told me that I had to call delivery to get my lawn furniture delivered. I guess the IQ dropped sharply at Lowes this particular day. I finally got a hold of a manager who after taking all my info, yet again, said she would call me back. Any way heres my point. Yes I am just one customer with a complaint, easy enough to brush off right. Ignore it long enough though and those complaints start to add up. Enough momentum builds up and it becomes impossible to stop the customers from leaving. Dont believe me. There are plenty of failed businesses in North America that I can point to. Plenty of businesses now that are failing that I can point to. Where I live Lowes is already in pretty tough competition against 2 other home improvement stores. I look at the parking lot and on any given day you can plainly see that Lowes does not have the biggest share of the buying public in this area. You would think they would figure out that the only thing they have in their back pocket to battle with is customer service. Got a call back. Not the manager I talked to. This was just another wage slave telling me that I would be contacted Saturday to arrange a time for delivery on Sunday. In my opinion this isnt customer service. I wont be buying from Lowes in the future. Its a further drive for me to go to Lowes. The prices arent great, customer service is questionable. I am also pretty sure this little rant wont go anywhere. I dont care though. It just makes me feel better to get it written out somewhere. Be interesting to see if Lowes survives but I doubt it. The last retailer I had issues with customer service wise went out of business.

Perhaps had you ordered earlier in the season you might have had quicker installation. I am sure you are not the only person buying a deck for their summer enjoyment.

Do you think you are so important that they are going to tell the people that bought and schedule construction before you that they need to wait for installation because someone that thinks their s hit doesn't stink wants their deck NOW. Guess what...you are no better than anyone else and will just have to wait your turn.

I never said or thought I was any better than anyone else. Just upset Lowes originally told us they could start the project July 15th and now have pushed it back to August 2nd. I think they need to communicate better when selling a project and work with more independent contractors so nobody has to wait this long

Lowe's late delivery

Again, Lowe's cannot make the delivery on time. It's 3 hours late. Do they value their customer's time? The original schedule was 9-12 on Monday morning and it was confirmed several times. I called off a half day work and wait for the delivery at home. But I didn't see truck before 12 so I called the store, and their manager told me the delivery will be at least 2 hours late and they still cannot guarantee a firm time. They wasted my half day of my PTO and I have to call my manager again for more absence time. Lowe's messed up my whole day schedule and they don't offer any kind of compensation for that.

Having worked in a store that delivers and having made purchases I've had delivered to my home I have learned that if you want something at a certain time, rent a truck and pick it up. Any number of things can delay a delivery schedule.

The driver might get there late (for any number of reasons), the truck won't start or have a flat tire, traffic delays, problems with deliveries ahead of yours including products that won't fit through doors and waiting for people to remove doors or trim to get it in and the list goes on and on.

And yes, a human may have made a mistake in loading the truck or misplaced paperwork. I only wish I was as perfect as you are and could guarantee that I would always be on time for everything I do.

I tried locating a district office number, but unable to find one. I just wanted someone to know how great they were to me as a customer.

I ordered a lawn tractor on Monday May 30th, 2016 and had a scheduled delivery date for the following Saturday. Its now nearing 9:00 p.m. and my scheduled delivery time was between 2-4 p.m and still haven't received the tractor. With no phone call at all i had to track down the company myself whi delivers for lowes and see when they're coming! Without a doubt this is the most unprofessional company ive ever dealt with in my life im completely dissatisfied with they're delivery crew and they need to do something about it immediately! Sincerely pissed off customer Thomas Pelletier.

Lowes Appliances

I recently bought a new refrigerator at Lowes and they promised to deliver it within a week . They initially told me it would be delivered from 1-3 which didnt happen ... As soon as they got here the delivery guys did not install the refrigerator and since they had promised to deliver it from 1-3 and were late I was not at home, I was at work. A $1600+ refrigerator that doesnt work is useless. I called the service department and told them what happened and they told me that I would get a call back from them in 24 hours. That was their final response after being on hold all morning and part of the afternoon. from 9-3. I never received a call from them and I finally had to reach out to them again and they finally scheduled me to get service. In less than 24 hours I got a call saying that they had to cancel my service appointment because they technician had a bad back and couldnt come out to see me.... (like if he was the only technician that was employed) I rescheduled and they told me that they have to get it approved through the company to see if that was going to work for them.. i thought this was about getting someone out here to make sure the customer is satisfied with our appliance.. apparently not... They also told me that I had to pay for any repairs that had to be done on this refrigerator even though when I received it, it wasnt working ( ***).....long story short.... I have a month to return this refrigerator and by the looks of it the are going to keep stalling the service until i no longer have the 30 day money back guarantee... *** LOWES

I never understood why people order and pay for things, and then on delivery day want to act like they have plans that will save human kind and ***...come on..take a whole day off and figure stuff out if it's that important

Works called but never showed up

we have a fence to put up and it has been a night mare. no one will call me back and will not answer phone calls. they have called and promised the they will have it up several times but then no one will show up 3 weeks of promising to come finally showed up and put up 4 post and have not returned. i have been very patient but this is getting out of hand need some answers. i am getting pissed off when they tell me when i call and no one shows up and we have stayed home another day from work.

Ordered a back yard wicker set and was sent an email telling me it was to be delivered on Saturday 6/4/16 and then got a call the day before to confirm stayed home all day and did not receive order ,spent hours on phone with customer care then trucking company who blames the store and store blames delivery company then store has no idea what to do then customer care is also unable to help and we still have no idea where or when we will get our set.the customer service at lowes is the worst,they have no people skills.

No more with Lower's

I designed a deck with lower's software online, the materials cost is about $2000. I went to the local store asking for help. I was told that someone will come my house to check it next Monday. However, nobody showed up the whole next week, so I guess they will never come, I planed to build the deck by myself at that time. After three weeks I got one call, said he will come my house to check my deck design, if I still want. OK, I want to know how much I need to pay, and how good the designed deck will be. Guess what, the guy did not tell me about the deck strong or not, he asked me for $10,000 to build it!

Bought an outdoor rug last year. Used it for 90 days and stored it for the winter. This year, it is literally shredding. Complete garbage and they won't replace it because it gas been over one year by a few days. For 250$, i expect better service and quality. My 30$ old ikea rug lasted a few years! This is just shameful. They do not stand behind their product. Buyer beware!!!

Instead, Randy called with an attitude telling me "So do you not want the washer and dryer anymore? We have stuff to do" and continued being a complete *** through the whole 8am call making me feel like spending my money at Lowes was an inconvenience for him!

I see so many customer complaints online, and a lot are directed at the employees. Believe me, I understand not every employee is great. But, quite a few times, it's NOT the salesperson who is screwing up your order, or denying your warranty, etc. Most of us bend over backwards to make things right. BUT! This company provides NO training, gives ZERO support at the store level, upper-management doesn't care about you the consumer, nor do they give a *** about the employees. They want your money, and want their workers to work for *** wages, and smile as they toss us under the bus.

You have to understand the reason most of your deliveries are late, is because we have no idea when your product is due to come in. We call the warehouse and they tell us 4-7 days. We can't track anything because we are working with a computer system from the 90's. We are pushed and pushed to sell their Extended Protection Plans, and get people signed up for a Lowe's credit card. Your appliance breaks, we can do NOTHING at the store level! Call the # for the warranty dept., but for *** sake have your receipt! You'll jump through hoops to get anything done. WE CAN'T DO ANYTHING FOR YOU IN THE STORE! Cussing at me, telling me I am incompetent, etc. is not going to help.

If any of us were trained experts in the various depts., we would be working somewhere else. Most of us (myself included) have sought out training on our own time. To try and be better able to help and solve your issues. At some point YOU have to take the initiative and LEARN HOW TO DO A PROJECT ON YOUR OWN!!!!

Working here is like being in High School, gossip, favoritism, back-biting, and a general sense that if you aren't a management pet you are not welcome. If you're a guy, you are left to do the heavy lifting and the physical work. Of course 3/4 of the employees are on FMLA for some made up vague "illness". And heaven help you if you discuss anything with HR. They will tell all to the management, who in turn tell their pets, and inside of a week; the entire store knows what you discussed. But, at least after you work there a year, Lowe's throws you a $.15 raise! No commissions. No bonuses....they say you can get one but, they recently changed the qualifying store sales amount to the point where, it's not even a viable option anymore.

But, as long as the CEO makes millions in salary and bonuses, screw the employees! Yeah, at least I have a job. And I'm thankful for that. What do any of you care, as long as you get the cheap *** from China, and get to abuse the employees, hopefully that makes you feel better.

The Lowes store that I work at has changed my start times 5 times nowwith out a phone call or telling me in person at work . And under company policy they are to let you know of the change they due as they please and you waste your time talking to store management . To close the turnover rate of people that leave is not good.

At store 1669 in Lansdale, there are many very fine work staff. I had a great experience with ALISHA who solved a very vexing problem for me.

I need not go into details.. But I asked her how long she worked at the store. She said 9 years. I nearly fell over.

WHY? Because this woman was the very soul of patience and her vocal tone never rose above a soft but emphatic decibel. I told her that she deserved the big bucks and we both laughed.

SUGGESTION : Get a new job. Often effective.

Be sure to secure the new job before quitting the old one. Provide a two weeks notice ; just because they're crummy doesn't mean that you have to be.

The Lowe's in my area isn't much better than the ones everyone is complaining about. I know that Lowe's doesn't provide any training or I should say very little.

I know this because of the nice lady who works in the window treatment department. She told me she taught herself everything she knows on the computer and this stuff isn't easy either. I placed two large orders for shades for my house and my patio and it was all screwed up but not because of that employee. She did what she was supposed to do.

It was the company who makes the shades that did the screw up. They made the wrong cuts and the wrong color. The subcontractor who installs the shades screwed up too. The lead guy came to my house and made the measurements and that was fine.

When it came time to install the shades on my porch, he was on vacation and someone else came over. The guy had no clue where the shades went. I tried to tell him but him being a macho know-it-all told me I was wrong. My shades weren't installed for weeks.

Someone else came and installed them without any problem.I can't stand Lowe's and I can't stand Home Depot either. I spent thousands of dollars on projects for my house and every project was screwed up. Every one except the attic insulation. That was fine.My three exterior doors and patio door wasn't installed properly and neither was my Pergo laminate flooring.

Do NOT have Home Depot handle anything like this. EVER.

If u want to be ignored Lowe's is perfect, I use to spend 1000.00 a month in there for my business. Crappie service and rude employs I do very little buying here. It took over 2/.75 hrs to get 1 gallon of paint and they had a attitude that if you want to go somewhere else.

You must live in an extremely small, boring town if every vehicle that is totaled in an accident makes the news. More often than not the accidents that make the news involve fatalities. Being a Holiday weekend makes it even more believable that they had to cancel your delivery as it would have been harder to find a replacement vehicle on short notice.
