Delivery of Dryer and Attitude Jersey City Lowes

All: I ordered a clothes dryer from Lowes Jersey City NJ in early November. I received 2 calls from the store 1-notifying me that the order had reached their warehouse 2-notifying me that the dryer had reached the store. I was told that I would receive a call to schedule home delivery of the dryer but I never did. Lowes just took it upon themselves to schedule a delivery date and time without consulting me. I received a call from the delivery company notifying me date and timeframe for delivery and I cancelled it since I was not available. The part I am PISSED off about is the fact that I had to call the store to reschedule the delivery and I kept being transferred and put on hold for over 20 minutes as I waited for a so-called manager named Gio who never answered my call. I spoke to a woman named Yvette who gave me an attitude as she explained that she just got on the phone and in my own words it didnt seem to be her issue that I had been on hold. GREAT customer service Lowes jersey city. If you dont want to work there QUIT and go on the unemployment line instead of being mean to your paying customers who keep you EMPLOYED!!!! Finally a girl helped me and was nice as a reaction to my attitude which was stern since the dryer was not FREE! I will never order anything from YOU AGAIN! YOUR LOSS...

Lowes in Pacifica, California - Credit Card Incompetence

My husband and I bought a washer dryer and thought we were taking advantage of a great deal by getting a Lowe's credit card. It was supposed to come to our house within 7 days. 2 weeks later, I called to follow up and the phone option wouldn't send me to customer service operator. My husband and I went to the store to pay the first bill at the store. Turns out, they entered our address incorrectly and couldn't correct it at the stores. I would have to call and change on the number I've been calling at. Then I order a new card to be sent to my correct address. The new card comes but no bill for the next month. Then I get multiple phonecalls in one day, during work where I couldn't answer, from their collection agency for a late payment I didn't even know I had missed. I tried to pay online, but it wouldn't let me start an account online and locked me out of the pay bill online feature. I apparently didn't know my own mother's maiden name. They finally got a hold of me in the evening and said that I had to pay the late charge along with the payment, but apparently I had to call the same number I've been calling to get help for the website and to find out about why I didn't get a notice. All this annoyance for a washer/dryer I could've paid off in full and never had to deal with a new credit card for. Thanks a lot Lowe's. Way to make people never want to shop in your store again.

Lowes in Columbia, South Carolina - Singled out

Her name is cindy. she works in the north myrtle beach store. Every time that i go to a register she always asks for my ID. I am in this store almost every day. she knows me. Awhile back I signed for a special order. she was watching me yet as I was leaving the store with the merchandise, she stops me and asks for proof that I purchased the item. everyone was watching me like I was a criminal. I am a General Contractor and did over $50,000.00 with lowes last year. Now most of my business is go9ing to home depot because I AM TIRED OF IT!!!!

Lowes in Newark, New Jersey - Terrible customer service

I purchased a Samsung HE dryer From Lowe's of Eatontown, NJ on April 25 2010 along, with an extended service contract and it broke down October 5 2011. I called for service and was given an appt. for the following week with A@E Factory Service. They came on Oct. 11 replaced a belt and informed me the wiring harness was bad. They had to order the part and come back in 8 days Oct. 19. They came and replaced the wiring harness, still didn't work, they said it was the motor. They ordered the motor and gave me an appt. for Oct. 21, never showed up. I called and they said it was my fault they didn't show up because I didn't let them know the part arrived??!!?? They came 4 days later Oct. 25. Replaced the motor, still didn't work, said it was the computer, had to order gave me an appt. for 15 days, Nov 9. Replaced the computer, didn't work it isn't the computer it is the motor. WHAT!!!!!!!! They previously ordered and replaced the wrong motor component????!!!??? (These people couldn't diagnose a head cold) Tech just left I still have no dryer after 5 weeks. Calling A@E does me no good because they don't care that I'm dissatisfied. My hands are tied and I'm at the mercy of A@E. Every time I called they just said "I'M sorry, I understand" but did nothing to help me out. I asked to speak w/a manager and was told "No, he will just tell you the same thing I am." My next appt. is scheduled for Nov. 17. Shame on me for not throwing them out of my house 3weeks ago and buying a new dryer. Don't ever call A@E Factory Service, not even to change a light bulb!!!

Lowes in Scranton, Pennsylvania - Refused 10%

i was using my military dischrage card to get a 10% discount off my purchases, i served in army for 8 years, this discharge paper was honored until i bought wallpaper for $358.90 dollars i was told i would have to get a photo id or prove that i served for 20 years or more in the service. photo cards are taken from you when discharged. you only get a discharge sertificate, they lied when they advertised any id to prove that you served in the military would be good enough to get the 10% discount.i will take my business elsware after this. i felt imbarristed when they told me this in front of other coustomers.

Valspar has great colors. The somewhat new twist cap is terrible and leaks and runs, all over your hands, everything.

I work at Lowes and about 70% of our customers are affiliated with the military since we are close to a military base.... we don't need an override because of this and I assur...
