Lowes - Installation Review from Bonita Springs, Florida

I went into the Lowes store at Airport Pulling Road, Naples, Florida looking for Vinyl Flooring. I stood in the aisle for 20 minutes and sitting 10 feet from me was an Associate, sitting on his lazy *** and never offered to help me. I wondered to the back to look at baseboard and trim. An Associate walked right pass me and never offered to help. I finally flagged down another Associate asking a question about the product and when I turned around he was gone. I finally left that disgusting store. I worked in retail Myself for 15 years and our motto was take care of the customer. If a customer went out our doors dissatisfied, we went right behind them. We we were fired. I have had two terrible Installation experiences with Lowes and they should not be in this business.

Lowes - Curtain Rod Review from Woodbury, New Jersey

It's been 6 weeks since I placed my order for curtain rods online. We planned our move-in date around the delivery of this order. It's been three weeks since the estimated date of delivery and I still haven't received the rods. NO communication from lowes (email or calls with status update or tracking info). The only communication I've had with lowes is that which I have initiated and I've spent HOURS on the phone trying to get any information. It's been absurd. I would be damned if I ever order from lowes online again.

Horrible customer service! If your a woman just forget about anyone helping you. I stood in line and watch 3 cashiers chat and look at there phones, not one person even looked up and the line had at least 8 people in it. Also, don't bother trying to use the 10% off coupon that comes in the adds. By far the WORST LOWRS STORE IS IN POCATELLO IDAHO!!!!!

Unhappy with gutter guards

I bought gutters and gutter guards for my home. I was told the gutter guards would keep my gutters and down sputs form stopping up. I didnt want all new gutters buy was told the gutter guards wouldnt work on my old gutters more debt for me. I was unhappy with the work. Lowes sent installer back twice. guards coming up from gutters.I picked up pieces of gutters guards out of flower bed which was against the house. Now the problem is I have all these leaves in the gutter guards My house looks a mess. leaves all collected in guards. I guess next I will have trees growing out of them. Gutters and gutter guards were not cheap. I definitely was ripped off. Talked into buying gutters because gutter guards wouldnt fit in old gutters and this was only a few months back.My next contact will be the BBB. The sells person that sold me all this was either fired or quiet before the gutters and gutter guards were installed.now its a mess for me.

Unhappy long time customer

On 12/9/15 went to lowe's on South Semoran blvd. Orlando, fl. Just needed a few things, went to the register to pay and asked for four bags of sacrete concrete mix. I asked the sales associate if I could pull in the loading zone to load, she said yes. I went and moved my truck into the loading load, loaded my concrete which I had to carry twenty feet, with three sales associates standing watching. no help was offered.( I,m 74 years old ). When I was leaving a lowe's pick up truck pulled in front of me , blowing his horn and telling me I shouldn't be parked up here. Trying to drive around him, I knocked over one of the little A frame signs that says loading zone. He continued to verbally abuse me over the sign being knocked over. I will never shop in a Lowe's store again as long as I live.

Lowes cheat subcontractors

lowes uses the excuse customer complained and doesn't want you back on the job to fix issue, then the say the had to have another contractor to fix it at the entire labor cost, the always seem to larger pay jobs, lowes are crooks, this is a common practice, wage and labor need to step in and fix this issue. or contact your attorney general in the state u work. we've been cheat out of jobs, and other contractor have quit lowes for the same reason.

Appliance Delivery and Installation Horrible

We purchased $2300+ of appliances from Lowes over one month ago from the store in Panama City Beach, FL. We called numerous times up to the scheduled delivery date of 11/14 to confirm delivery and were told yes, they will be delivering on 11/14 after 11 AM. We called the morning of 11/14 and then told they would deliver between 2-5 PM. At 4 PM we became concerned and called to the store and asked for the Manager. We got the Asst Manager Brandon, who then told us that there was "weather" that caused a delay and they would be there by 8 PM. Really Brandon?? We are here, there is no weather, it is 68 and sunny. Brandon personally guaranteed they would deliver, but they failed to do so. I need to head back to Jacksonville int eh morning (and I told Brandon this) and could not wait for delivery the next day. He assured me it would be here tonight, and that ended up being a lie. I will now be heading down to the store and request a full refund for our appliance purchase, but I'm sure "Brandon" will have another story for me as to why it was not delivered today. HOME DEPOT HERE WE COME!! Do not trust Brandon or Lowes in Panama City Beach, FL.

Bad customer service in Kingston's Lowes

Well about 2 or 3 weeks ago I went in and bought up all their 14TPI and 18TPI Lennox brand ban saw blades. I usually pop in and buy ALL their stock for my company (about $500 a month). At the contractor check out the cashier circled and told me about the $25 discount coupon on my receipt that would expire on Nov. 11th 2015(Today). So I went into Lowes 2 days ago to get more ban saw blades and use my coupon. They still hadn't restocked, so I decided to come back on Nov. 11th to use the coupon. So again today, no band saw blades. But I didn't let that dampen my mood. I figured I could get other stuff anyways. So I picked up some metal shelving and power bars and other stuff to meet the $100 minimum which was required for the coupon. When I got to the cash I had $149 worth of stuff and since I need the receipts for my business I took a photo copy of my previous receipt with the bar code for the coupon so they could scan it etc. The cashier informed me that they needed the original receipt. She called the manager and the manager and the cashier discussed whether or not I should get the discount and they decided that I should not. They did not offer to reprint my original receipt. They did not even respond when I offered to bring the original receipt in tomorrow. So I just let them know they just lost a loyal customer and they just didn't seem to give a ***. Nice job Lowes in Kingston, Ontario. The manager's name was Sarah I believe and the cashier was some older lady who said "I don't know if this bar code will work" and then never even actually tried to scan it to see if it would work. Awesome customer service ! So Lowes, in case you are reading this and you want to identify your superstar employees, the cashier working the contractor checkout and the manager named working the store on Nov. 11th 2015 at roughly 5:00pm. All they had to do to keep me as a customer was make an effort. The manager never even left their desk. The cashier, rather than asking the manager if she could offer any solution, just seemed to be complaining to her about the fact that I didn't have a proper receipt. Anyways, I will be sure to tell other people about the lousy customer service at Lowes.

Bought a 300.00 powerwasher at your great store, only ran it for 1 hr. let me say it again1 hr., has not run since. now it's going to cost me 175.00. not sure what's worse, not standing behind your products, or the idea of not standing by your coustomers!! Over the last few years I've spent some decent money in your stores, logspliter,2 husqavarna chain saws,2 electric chain saws,riding mower,push mower,*** eaters, not to mention hand tools. All I ask in return is that they perform as intended.You really droped the ball on this one big time!! Guess I'll have to see how Home Depot treats their costomers.

Worked twice for this Company. Didn't learn my lesson. I was hired in june 2014, It had been 7 years since I had worked for them. Absolutely no training! Horrible manager, he was finally terminated. Hired another one, who was worse, I reported him to RVP and I was retaliated on and fired. They train no one and then wonder why these people can't do their jobs. Are you kidding me? Micro managing! If you train your people, they preform. Simple as pie!!! Don't train and guess what. I had knee surgery and was on light duty. Gave all paper work to HR person. He didn't relate to Manager. I was left alone in store as only manager and was on light duty. limited walking. I was made to manage front end and dept manger over front end removed chair to be difficult. This was after she shoved it almost hitting phone operator in her knee, which she had just had replaced. ASM 4 allowed Lowe's policies to be broken. and hostile work environment to run wild in front and back end of store.

I had been coning to work at4 &5 AM. One day i had been drinking a lot of coffee starting at about 3 AM just to get going at that wicked hour.

Suddenly that craving for a cigarette was overwhelming and I got caught outside the building,but inside the fence. Sure enough it had to be the WATCHDOG FOR JUSTICE the LOST PREVENTION COMMANDER. THIS GUY STARTS TALKING ABOUT BLOWING UP THE BUILDING AND CATCHING THE PLACE ON FIRE. WE'RE OUTSIDE, its just finished raining all night.

WTF! I was *** to ge caught and should n2have been classified like a terrorist.

All the supervisors and managers doesn't want to give out that information to protect their jobs. The warranty I believe is a FRAUD!

Jeff the rude manager

A man named jeff at Lowe's in Martinsburg West Virginia was harassing a customer . i saw the whole situation go down. There was a woman with her handicapped husband trying to load salt in the car. Jeff and another employee stood and watched them and laughed while they struggled. He then proceeded to ask to take her cart and have her the middle finger and told her to never come back. This is a serious issue and needs taken care off .

Terrible service, injured hand and went to Menards

12-6-15 1:30 pm We arrived to pick up online order and other items. The on line order was not ready and no one there to help. We also needed 2x12x12s. Again, no help. The 2x12x12s were high on rack, could find no help and we dropped one on my hand and injured the base of thumb on right hand. My hand was black, blue & painful for a week. We finally found and asked an employee for help. He left and said would be back with a fork lift. We waited over fifteen minutes, he did not return. Told cashier what happened, did not pick up online order. Drove 120 miles round trip to Menards & spent over $400 there. Go to Menards for better service, prices & far better selections as we have since 1977.

Incompetence from Lowe's Fence Purchase and Installation

Here is my review of Lowe's, Tarentum, PA. If I could click on ZERO stars, I would. I have never been treated so poorly by a company and its contractors ever before and I have been dealing with companies and contractors for over 40 years! I had ordered a vinyl fence to be installed on April 17, 2015 and it was to be installed in 3 days the following week. Here it is June 26, 2015 and the fence is still not completed yet. The Lowe's store manager, Scott is now saying that they are not going to return and repair and complete the fence! This has caused me tremendous stress and frustration! Family holiday celebrations had to be canceled and my family is furious with me over it because it was my to have the Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day pool/picnic celebrations. The contractors messed what little bit the did install and it has to be taken back out and redone. This is a pool surround fence and after the previous wooden fence was taken down April 23, 2015, I have been very concerned for months about the exposed pool which legally requires a fence around it and Lowe's constantly making up excuses for not getting the fence installed properly. The stress is overwhelming! I couldn't even get the cover taken off my pool it yet, the contractors put *** in the cover and it has to be sent back to the manufacturer for repairs, but Neither Lowe's managers Scott and Scherry nor the contractors Blades N' Spades, Jim Barkley, won't provide an insurance policy number and they are required to have insurance to work for Lowe's but the phone number that Lowe's manager gave me does not return my calls (I feel that the contractor didn't have insurance because of this). My little dogs still can't even go out in their own yard with the fence not done properly to contain them in the yard. The Lowe's installation manager, Scherry and the both contractors ,Jim Barkley and Tom Linderman, were incredibly rude. Materials had to be delivered over and over because of contractor incompetence. I could go on and on about the horrendous problems with Lowe's and it's contractors, but it would be an entire book if I did. Bottom line is: DON"T TRUST LOWES AND ITS MANAGERS BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO REGARD FOR CUSTOMERS AND CUSTOMER SATISFACTION!!!!!!

Total lack of concern for customer satisfaction

Purchased a dryer from Fresno,s Lowes store. Delivered wrong dryer first time, did not fit the opening. went back, purchased a different dryer. Was delivered but this time wrong dryer cord was sent. Had to take that cord back to exchange for correct cord. Delivery company said they would call me with a new (third time) time to actually install dryer. Needless to say they did not call as they said they would. I finally contacted the Lowe's delivery. Said they would come today,however I will believe it when I see them. Bottom line, I will never ever set foot in a Lowe's store again. Mgr of Lowe,s appliance in Fresno named Dale was wonderful and fair to me, as far as my opinion on the mgr of the appliance dept of fresno Lowes, I feel that he should consider another line of employment, one that does not require people and communication skills!!!
