I can personally backup that Lowe's sucks!! Not only did we walk away from alot of money when we finally realized it was leave or go broke, but legally we have no leg to stand on to recover. Lowe's is master at manipulation of paperwork, rewritten to favor them and cause as much confusion as possible. They hire teams of individuals who are not trained and probably could not be , half are dazed from pill popping and smoking on job. I really have no idea how they even get a sale except for customers ability to use Lowe's credit card to pay.

I'm a disabled vet. I was denied the ten percent discount at check out. I left after paying full price for the items I called customer service and they got me the discount.. however.. when I went back into the store the lady who originally denied me the discount stormed over sayingi checked your Id your not disabled what's wrong with you anyway.. I felt like I was in war all over again pinned down receiving fire and just exhausted out of ammo and not want I g to go through it.. the nice lady at the customer service did her best to explain what had happened and why I receive the discount but what was the front end manager continued to attack me as she pounded the refund into the computer. When she was done double tapping me in the skull she simply stepped passed my beaten corps and continued on the war path... can Lowes please educate the employees on the discount policy.. vets get ten percent during holidays disabled vets get ten percent always. Now once I was done getting attacked I looked at the customer service rep smiled and said wow she's a real nice lady. She smiled back and apologised for what I had just gone through. I told her it wasn't her that should be apologising . I left called the customer service line again filed a complaint and haven't heard back from anyone thanks Lowes for caring about our vets ( sarcasticly) please help your staff to know that not all disabled people are visibly disabled

Manager "Irene" refused to help and only pointed her finger at the direction of a product that was not even available. When asked about a discount for a torn bag she simply refused and said "we don't do that" and when told that was the only bag and could get a discount when a lowe's employee said "yes we can give discounts, however it needs to be an override by manager" the manager said " I already talked to you and NO DISCOUNTS! Very rudely ... She needs to be fired if she does not know how to treat customers!!!! Other wise Lowes can just start seeing its customers decline and go elsewhere!

My husband I were looking for a new countertop for our bathroom sink. We waited for 30 minutes for someone in the department to come and help us. We finally got frustrated and got someone from another department to come and help us. Once we told them what we were looking for, they said that they could not help us.

For months I have taken my dog on a leash to lowes. Last week I saw a sign that lowes no longer welcomes my dog starting on October 1 2015. She is very well behaved and causes no problems. This is the lowes in tomball texas on FM 2920. Lowes no longer gets my business. My dog is ALWAYS welcome at Home Depot!!

Last time i spend money at Lowes
First, when we bought our house, we did some remodeling including the bathroom. I bought a delta shower and plumbing, guaranteed for life, but not at lowes. a year later when it broke they would not replace it. told me that i would have to send it back to delta. I started dealing with Ardmore Plumbing supply and they would have exchanged it. The final straw was today, last month i bought 10 hedge plants and when i checked out, the lady told me that they had a one year REPLACEMENT guarantee. 6 of the 10 died. i dug them up and drove to lowes only to be told a receipt was required. so i drove back home, as luck would have it, my wife knew where the receipt was, got it and drove back to lowes. i take the receipt and the dead plants to the "service desk" where they offer my money back on a lowes card or credit my credit card. i tell them about the replacement, she looks up the price on the bushes and it has doubled. some guy says they will replace them, and i ask her if they have them in stock. she assures me they do, so i go back to the garden center and guess what is not in stock. Lowes will not see another one of my hard earned dollars. Sorry lumber, employees do not know what the heck they are talking about. I will drive 60 miles round trip to Home Depot before i go back into Lowes in Ardmore Oklahoma

DD214 no good at Lowes anymore
Lowes promised they would give 10% off and another 10% off using my DD214 when purchasing new replacement windows for our home.. the first 6 that we purchased (9-23,26 & 27th of 2015) they stood by their word and when we went back today (9-30th-2015)they would not, said that the DD214 was no longer recognized.. that was within a weeks time....said it was only use on Veterans Day only. what is wrong with this place.. a vet is a vet 365 days a year , are they saying that a vet doesn't matter except for that special day..... called Home Depot and they will except all you need is an official ID and your DD214 form, so I do know now were I will be spending my money.......

ordered a fridge and a gas range. told lowes i needed it to be there 1-5. XPO calls and tells me 7-9. problem is..its a new house. I dont live here yet, I don't live in the city yet.. And I already took off work (losing $$ of course ) so that I could receive the delivery .. they would not budge on the 7 to 9. fine. what happens? i get a call saying that I wont be getting it at all tonight. but I can get them friday (hunh?() they say that even though its before 9pm the driver passed the time DOT allows truckers to be on the road or something. Why in the *** would they create a window so late or allow the route to be so unorganized . yea thats my story. i dont know whether or not to blame Lowes... btw XPO has about negative 5 stars on Yelp. why would Lowes keep on using them? oh.. nobody cares. . I Let them reschedule me for Saturday morning - but after reading other reviews, im disgusted and I dont believe them. may jusy cancel the order.checking out sears now

My dishwasher broke. Went to purchase new dishwasher at lowes on 8/ 9. Purchased and paid for installation to be installed on 8/12. No one showed up to install. A follow up call was made to lowes and the need was to wait and wait for follow up. We were told they could not install until sat. 8/15. A call was made to lowes at 1pm and i was told they should be here today. No one showed up but we received a call later in the day that the dishwasher could not be installed today. Unbelievable customer service. An absolute joke. I will be going back to lowes for a refund and purchase another dishwasher at another store.

7 weeks to repair/replace washer/no money give after return was authorized
They will tell you anything to make a sale. Lowes' professionalize to provide repairs timely repairs, expect customer wait 13 hours window for repairmen to possibly show up during my weekday job hours, failure to show to repair or deliver twice, lost replacement order and customer paperwork or failed to complete paperwork multiple times, failed to listen and address customer concerns and request multiple times, took appliance told would receive full refund in 24 hours of signing (not done), credit to account without consent as item was paid off shortly after purchase and did not complete for full amount, after hours of time and and many calls and visits to store nothing was done to complete thing correctly. They often explained that they did not care as they were had their money. I have replaced my washer with another retailer and refused to make additional purchases at Lowes' until issue is satisfactorily resolved. Of course, I will not be buying washers, dryers, and other appliance at Lowes in the future since they do not honor their word, etc....

Stacey gave the worst Customer Service in the universe. Most often you'll find helpful workers, Stacey at the Lowe's on BayShore in San Francisco could use an ATTITUDE adjustment! Could someone speak to her? Could she wear a shirt that asks us to have patience with her, she's having a very very very very BAD DAY! We mean soon! This should reach her and she correct her atitude. When will we see a difference with her? Today or tomorrow would be good! Dave and Mike who have never wanted to get in her line while shopping at your store. Have a good day.

I purchased carpet/runner for my new home and it was to be installed in two separate visits. The carpet was installed without issue however the runner installation has become a DISASTER. The 3rd party installers called my husband to schedule installation for Thurs June 11 from 2-5pm. By 3 pm no one had arrived and my husband called the installers and they were closed. At 5 pm my husband called Lowes and was told he would be called back. When he was called back he was told they were an hour late (would be there at 6pm). No one called to tell us this before and we had to pick up our kids from school so could not wait for the installers. My husband is in sales so if he is not working he is not making money and he took off 3 hours to sit and wait as schedules for the installers who never called to say they were late. I came home early from work (and also had to lose money for leaving early to deal with this and get my kids), and spent 45 minutes trying to speak to someone at Lowes to find out what was going on. I was disconnected 3x before I spoke to a person. When I finally spoke to someone I was told that the installers were now running even later and could be there 6:45. I was asked what solution was acceptable and I told them that I was not willing to have my husband wait another 3 hours for installers and that I would need someone to come back with a tighter window and I would want compensation for my time wasted. I was told that someone from the install co. would call me the very next day at 8am (the owner) to reschedule and to offer me compensation. The next day (today) as promised, the owner called me and tried to reschedule for today (Fri), barely apologized for the fact that his installers were running 3 hours late and tried to tell me that they did call to say they were late. Which is a LIE. Neither my husband or I heard from anyone about anything and would not have known they were even late if we hadn't called ourselves. And then of course, he did not offer compensation. I called Lowes immediately and spoke to an assistant Mgr who attempted to resolve this and I then received more calls from install trying to schedule today which I declined and still no offer from anyone for compensation. I then received another call from a different Lowes asst mgr to tell me the best they can do is offer a measly $100 cash payout for my time. My runner was $800!. End result I cancelled the runner. This is too much frustration and too much time wasted. I don't want that lying install co back in my house after the rude treatment I received, nor do I want to do business with Lowes flooring any longer. The time my husband and I wasted dealing with this nonsense yesterday and today is worth more than $100... LOWE'S... SHAME ON YOU!

I AM SOOO PISSED!!!! I WENT TO CHECK OUT AND THERE WAS A BLOND GIRL WHO WAS HIGH ON SOMETHING. I HIGHLY BELIEVE IT IS SO TERRIBLE AND UNPROFESIONAL TO COME TO WORK ON DRUGS!!!!!! SHE WAS SO RUDE AND DISRESPECTED ME. IM SO UPSET. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY THEY ARE LETTING HER STILL WOR THERE. IT IS A DESCRACE TO THE COMPANY AND ITS DISRESPECTFUL TO ALL THE CUSTOMERS. I MEAN ITS SUPPOSED TO BE A FAMILY PLACE TO SHOP NOT SOME DRUG RAVE!!!!! I WILL NECER GO THERE AGAIN!! I WILL DEFFINATLY NOT RECOMEND ANYONE TO GO THERE! WORST PLACE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!11

Do all idiots work at LOWES
I pulled into the rear loading area for contractors and as usual, there is a Lowes semi truck flatbed parked right in the middle of the entrance to the driveway. Making it impossible to enter the loading area. I entered the store and talked to the cashier, who was not helpful. I then walked over to the contractors desk and asked why the driver had to block the entrance to the loading area. He said that they were in the process of loading the flatbed. Which they were not, because all 6 of them were over by the large garage door, inside BSing. I was in the store for over 25 minutes and when I left they were still blocking the entrance. Why does Lowes not hire some employees that actually care about their work ethics and the company they work for. Not one employee cares anymore at Lowes. You could tell them the building was burning down and its like "not my problem", whenever I have problems at Lowes, I go right across the street to the next non customer service store Home Depot. Get your act together Lowes, hire managers that bust some heads. Your employees need better training and be respectful.

Lowe's customer service associates CSA (sales floor people) are expected by management to help out in every department in the store. However we are not cross trained in other areas, nor are we even trained in our "assigned" area of the store.
A 30 minute wait for help, especially on a special order like a counter top (bathroom vanity top or kitchen counter), sounds very common if it's not too busy.
At peak hours with one associate, covering another department while that associate is at a meal, and with phone calls coming in from cashiers and outside customers, and with Need Help? buttons sounding several aisles or more away, the wait is much longer.
Long story short, there are associates that care and want to help every customer with their purchase, however Lowe's is not making that easy.
It's a very frustrating and discouraging place to work a full-time job.
Why would you expect someone in another department to know how to order countertop? Do you go to the produce department in the grocery store and look for someone working there to wrap meat at the meat counter for you?
You would be foolish to order countertop from an employee that didn't know anything about ordering countertop. Ordering countertops can be a time consuming process and you may have to wait for your turn to come up...just be patient.
