Update: After calls to their third-party rebate center and hold times of an hour or so before I would give up, I called Lowe's main customer service. Should have done it sooner.

The rep could see my order, the offer, the terms, etc. He saw it was legit and said he'd send the rebate amount on the store card per terms.

I'm hopeful this solves it. Hope this post helps others

I purchased paint twice this year with the rebate program. The first time, i filled out everything in June and mailed to them and never heard a thing. The 2nd time, the clerk recommended the paint and the rebate, and he said it was the 2nd day of the promotion. I filled out everything and received an email that I didn't purchase during the proper time frame and never received the rebate. This appears to be a scam.

Terrible, don't waste your money | Lowes review from Lockhart, Texas

Absolute worst protection plan ever. Purchased a very expensive Samsung range 6 months ago, it has never worked. We've had 4 repair techs come out, none of them have fixed it and the last one broke it more, my main burner now does not work in addition to the oven never having worked. Each technician that comes out is more disrespectful and incompetent as the last. After 3 months of service to absolutely no avail the last technician also lied and closed our repair ticket as the problem being fixed when it was more broken than when he arrived. Dishonest and completely incompetent companies, the repair company and Lowe's.

Why are you complaining about Lowes and not Samsung? Samsung is responsible for the first year of any warranty you may have.

Do you think anything would be different if you had purchased the same range at another Samsung dealer? I'd be complaining about the quality of the product on the manufacturers site rather than blaming the store that sold it to you.

A good "Rule of Thumb" is to never purchase the extended warranties. They are almost always a bad deal.

You may not have had problems in the past because you mad the returns with a receipt or had the credit card the items were purchased with so they could look up your transaction and prove the products had been paid for. Due to the amount of shoplifting anymore many stores are not accepting returns without a way to prove the products were paid for. I expect you still need to have the repairs done, just have the next person you hire use the items you already have.

My daughter and her fiancé came up after Christmas. Gave me a Kobalt wrench set for Christmas. I already had one of the type and went down to exchange it for one I needed and didn’t have. Because I didn’t have the receipt I was unable to exchange it for what I wanted and needed. I had planned on spending almost another $50-60 for other tools needed, but because they refused to let me return the gift they lost a sale and farther sales. I’ll take my business now to Home Depot and do all I can to cost Lowe’s they customers. For Heavens sake, it was a Christmas gift, who gives receipts. An unopened package.

I take it you have never heard of a gift receipt. Unfortunately due to theft many retail stores are tightening their return polices and receipts are being required more often than in the past. Ask you daughter if she still has the receipt.

Ordered 4 appliances for kitchen. Delivery guys rude and angry. Left dishwasher in box in livingroom. Refrigerator and stove loaded with plastics, tapes and styrofoam . One delivery guy told me products would be damaged in a fit of anger. He wad correct. Stove has huge dent. They did not make sure things worked like Lowe's website promises. On way out they threw heavy water hookups on flat stove top. Do not get appliances delivered by Lowe's.
