Obviously, some bright light at Lowe's messed up and gave you a used, probably returned washer. The Lowe's manager probably thought you would be happy to just have it replace, little-knowing how irately you reacted to his not bothering to call you back after he said he would.

This happens and, of course is a reflection of the manager's attitude toward courtesy and customer service.

It is not a reflection of Lowe's corporate. However, big box stores are really not known for really good customer service as they deal on volume plus low prices and them losing you as a customer is insignificant when there are millions of other, less discerning customers out there.

Lowes in Panama City Beaches, Florida - Spectricide Multi bug and ant killer

Bought the large bag for the perimeter of our home invested by ants and roaches. I am a retired landscape contractor and nursery owner from Texas. I just switched over to Lowes since their plant product looked better quality and health compared to HomeDepot across the street in PCB FL. A bad mistake, the Spectricide Pest Control bag I bought did nothing. I applied as instructed but noticed no kill at all. It almost looked as though the ants enjoyed tripping through the formula. After 2 to 3 weeks I returned the bait back to Lowes for the written guaranteed refund on the bag. Return manager told me I had to contact Spectricide personally to get my refund. I argued how stupid that sounded when they represent the supplier and warranty, to no avail, not a replacement or refund, just negative attitude.

Lowes 11% Rebate Ripoff

Details
I bought a $1500 riding mower and was told to submit the rebate form for a rebate which I did. I then received a letter saying the receipt did not indicate a qualifying offer and to resubmit which i did. A week later I received another letter saying the receipt did not indicate a qualifying offer so I called customer care and they said I needed to include a copy of the receipt which I did for both submissions. after I received the second letter I just gave up. I think that is what they wanted.

Lowes in Paterson, New Jersey - DO NOT USE THEM

Details
Went to have an entry door installed, tried to charge us 345 for the door, 389 install fee, 400 from the contractor, 117 to remove storm door and put it back on, 35 measurement and 16 lead test. The install fee was more than the friggin door, the guy came did the measurements and never did lead test, and, Lowe’s System doesn’t allow refunds on that. Not to mention it was a stock door. Why is Lowe’s charging 389? On top of that they committed fraud by not returning the $16 for the lead test not being completed.

Refused to price match Amazon for a Dremel Kit. The Kit is 13.95 on Amazon from the official Dremel seller yet Lowe's wants 20.95 for the exact same thing. Home Depot has price matched Amazon for me before. Most of there stuff is overpriced, so this is just another reason to spend my money elsewhere.

You are shopping at a self service, big box store. Go to a full service store if you expect the employees to acknowledge you and help you find the products you need.

"The Donald" is so blatantly racist that any fool can see what he is and what he is trying to say. Details
Paid close to 19,000. For roofing, gutters, soffits and fasia. Start date was changed a three day job turn into 3 weeks. They didn’t finish . Left holes where they weren’t any before didn’t do the soffits, put in 3 gutters. They were schedule to do 4. Took piece of the outside trim off and didn’t replace. Came back still only did part of the soffits patched up one hole left another with left over vinyl. Customer service sucks. Says same people have to come back because they were contracted. I told them they had a chance to correct issues. Drip vinyl installed around the edge of the roof was not nailed. Falling off when it’s windy what do I ? Took loan against pension for this I paid cash.
