Lowes review in Chicago, Illinois: Edge precision tile system problems...

In or around 2006 we bought the edge precision tile system from LOWES for our kitchen floor that has 2 hallways with 1 going to our front door & the other going into a bathroom & then our laundry room. It says it has a 20 year warranty,well our floor looks like it is 20 years old already! cracks are everywhere & our 5 year old tile floor looks disgusting to say the least..... No one will even talk to us about it at the store...... I will not spend 1 red cent in that store for the rest of my life,that is a promise! Confused but totally pissed off by this whole situation,spreading the word 1 website at a time!

The Edge Tile was a HORRIBLE product. Good idea, bad engineering.

Never saw an installation that didn't crack afterwards.

Biggest issues were rolling heavy things across them with hand trucks. You could see exactly where the hand truck travelled just by the following the cracks!

LOWES taking advantage of a good thing

hardwood floors/stairs vs different colour in stairs.Get your act together Roha and Ljupco,NO i am NOT paying exta for the mistake you created.Customer service to many people and different people all the time.Just keep on passing the blame,if you dont wont to correct it just say so.Disappointed in Ljupco Dimovski you gave me your word that is would be fixed.Im still waiting,wont be going back to LOWES''This installation and mateials cost $16146.39 cash what a mistake.Should have done monthly then I could have stoped payment.Luka you should be ashamed off yourself for handling this like it is.

Your complaint is filled with grammatical errors and doesn't make much sense. All we know is you are disappointed and how much money you spent.

What's the issue here?

What is the process they are going through? Did you file a corporate complaint?

Lowes review in Orlando, Florida: Bad Carpet Bad Marketing Dir. 2 Months and still NO carpet

Run away from Lowes It is true they are the worse co. to do biz. with. All I can say at this point is I order carpet Nov 19,2011 and today is Jan.11,2013 and still no carpet . 1. Installed carpet layer was talking on his cell phone when doing the seem. 2. Had to replace arrived and they did not order right size. 3. I will write more later but people need to know not to buy at Lowes.They ( Mr. Brown Marketing Dir. For Lowes in Orlando Fl. call me and said after a COMEDY OF ERAS on there part they would like to install my carpet........More later Steve Orlando Fl.

Lowes review in Canby, Oregon: Didn't deliver the amount of tiles we had oderd and paid for

I had odered tiles for my new house., we had talked to the salesman to make sure the store have instock ... So we paid and get deliver the next day. So they left the tiles at ours porch and did not call and let us know . When we start working on the floor we found out we was 20 box short in ours odered . I had call the store everyday to get this fix for the last 10 day nothing get done . No comunicate between worker keep promise me the next day and never hear back from them and now they deliver bigger size didn't fit in to the rest of the tiles. I still dealing with this problem still didn't have the right size of tiles... We got really screw up in our schedule, our house not done ... We can't move in at all right now. So very frustrated... And I am emotionally exhausted ... Need help....

LOWES money hungry

had hardwoos flooring put in.2 set of stairs one set is darker then the other.Will fix at my expenseTotal cost $16146.39 including stairs.Now wont more money to fix the misstake the installor did.Ljupco DimovskiI think you should step up and fix the mistake you did without cost,or does the warrenty mean nothing,customer satification does not mean nothing,just wont the money.I will go else where.A hard lesson, not to trust you,nor your word.BEWARE COMSUMERS.Iv fought with you to long.Luka you knew about the different colour,and prommissed to fix it.It has not happened yet!

Lowes GE pre-lit tree does not shine anymore!!

I purchased a GE 7' pre-lit tree from Lowes for last Xmas. After 500 hours of use, half of the lights are no longer working. I contacted the distributor of the tree who is "Santa's Best" and they said that they are aware of the problem with the non-replaceable "fuse bulbs" that are used in the tree. They will only send you new light strings under the three year warranty and expect the consumer to remove the original lights and install the replacements themselves - this is an impossible task. This would be the same as an appliance manufacturer sending a component of an appliance to a customer and tell them the must install it themselves. I was told by one of the employees at Santa's Best that they are aware of the problem and have corrected it by no longer using the non-replaceable fuse bulbs in their latest manufacturing run. I have also contacted Lowes as well and they have not yet responded to my complaint of selling inferior merchandise. I guess that I am stuck with a non lighting pre-lit Xmas tree. Shame on Lowes and Santa's Best.

We redesigned our kitchen and we're so proud of it, this was in 1999. We used Millspride cabinets and every single one of them the vinyl is lifting and peeling, I contacted HomeDepot where we purchased them from and they said are they in an area where it's humid.

Duh kitchen and bathroom ya probably humid. I tried to contact Millspride apparently they don't care or have gone out of business because I never go a response.

Home Depot no longer carries this product, I wonder why. :(

I'm having the same problem with my tree from Lowes which is a Prelite GE tree with the no out lights. GE offered to send me replacement lights but last year my sister in law who bought the same tree had the same problem and was sent replace my lights, they are next to impossible to restrand.

GE wouldn't even allow me to talk to a manager.

Will never buy from GE again. I have a call into Lowes but they said its unlikely they can help since the manufacture issues the warranty and they are who stands by the product which is rediculous since they should stand by what they sell.

I am going through the exact same thing right now. I am glad you posted this.

I am going to try and take my tree back to Lowes. Hopefully the store that I purchased it from will be as helpful as yours.

KUDOS TO LOWES!!!. They took the tree back without any question.

I didn't have the original sales receipt so they gave me credit on my Lowe's credit card.

I was really impressed by the way they handled the entire bad situation.

As far as the manufacturer - I wouldn't buy a Santa's Best product if they gave it to me for nothing.

I wish to update this complaint. I have been contacted by Lowe's via email regarding this matter.

They are forwarding my complaint to my local store to see what can be done to correct this matter.

It appears that Lowe's may do something for me after all. Updates will follow as I get more info.

I am having the same thing happening with our tree not only does half the lites not work but they actually popped and the lites turned black. I bought mine at Lowes in Canada so it's not just in the US this is definitely a fire hazard.

I called Lowes and they said they would call today but they didn't no big surprise. No more GE *** for our house :(

Lowes review in Cincinnati, Ohio: Refusal to honor their words on $1059 dishwasher

Purchased $1059 Electrolux dishwasher installed obn 6/29/11. Didn't clean dishes-terrible. They sent out repairmen who blamed it on detergent-we were using Cascade cubes that came with it. Also said we needed to run water from faucet til it was steaming hot before starting dishwasher. Still wouldn't even rinse out coffee from cups. Lowe's kep reassuring us not to worry they would replace it if we weren' satisfied. Had repairmen again-this time they consulted with Electrolux while here and they said it had been recalled for a defective part. Ordered part and replaced. Worked better for awhile but then back to same ole, same ole!!!! Decided not to worry til after Christmas as Lowe's totally aware of our problem. So I called last week and they said, "don't worry, we'll take care of you." They referred us to Corporate Office who said, "we'll send a repairman out". I was furious by now and said we want to replace it with a different dishwasher. It doesn't clean! Found out that is impossible without three service calls. I said that we've had 3 and they only have record of 1. Only count it if a part was replaced-I hung up on him. $1059 shot!!!!!!!

Lowes review in Livingston, New Jersey: Receipt problems and poor service

the lowe's home improvement store in whiteville nc has very poor customer service and a very unprofessional,unorganized, rude staff of employees.they refuse to validate items bought at their store even with the purchase receipt.they say that the receipt didn't exist.I even contacted the corporate office and lowes customer care.everyone please be very weary when purchasing from lowes,most definately the one in whiteville nc.they also have bogus contractors working for them that they send out to install and they lie and cheat which results in lowes paying them for installation and them charging me for installation too.THEY GET DOUBLE PAID!!!!!!!!!This is a rip off and they will never do work for me again and i will never purchase anything from them again,not even if they were the only store around.i would rather drive 500 miles to a store that had some employees with some respect for their customers and employees that had some sense.I am disgusted with this store.Home depot will definately be getting my business from now on.for those of you that shop lowes please be careful and good luck with being treated with any kind of respect and lets hope that you fair better with your purchases and receipts than i did!

It makes a lot of difference whether you are a woman or a man. Lowes is a very discriminating corporation (against women).., I did a little test to see if it was just me or if this was true.

Its true.

I had a male friend of mine make a return the same time I did. I was behind him in line...he had no problems.. I had the exact transaction and circumstances..... they did not accept my return.

There was a woman in line when we first got there...her's was also not accepted. they're ***

You are mistaken...I have had several installs from that store and they never or their installers never got paid twice. Shopping 500 miles from there sounds good for you and them given the current attitude and climate. Good luck going forwat d..lol :upset

Chinese junk, My wife complained that that kitchen facet was leaking, I tried several washers and that fixed it for a while. Then I decided to purchase a new one from Lowes and after 4hours of replacing the faucet it turns out the new one is just a bad if not worse than the old one. I will never set foot in that store again. When I spoke to the manager he told me he would give me a discount on a new faucet if I brought the othere one back. I can`t tell you how angry this makes nme.

I have had hard wood floor put in throught the house.I have 2 sets of stairs,the stain on one set is darker then the other.Now I have been fighting with Lowesstore #2631,contract #1245479,#1221936 to try and get it fixed.I guess the installation service are NOT guarnteed by LOWS warranty.Iv been blowen off serval times and a no show from there installer who is Ljupic Dimovski.I think they used up every excuss in the book NOT to complete their work.SO BEWARE CONSUMERS DO NOT GO TO LOWES,for anything if you can help it.I know I wont be,and yes still fighting with them.
