Lowes in Ormond Beach, Florida - Awful

We have a Samsung french door frig that is only 3 years old and started freezing up and not cooling in the refrigerator compartment starting in April of this year, we luckly have an extended 5 year warranty on this product, but we have had 5 service calls for the same issues, freezing up of the coils, last service call technician that was sent out said it was not repairable. Now Lowes is giving me the run around about replacing the unit, and lying several times. Don't buy any products from these crooks, they take your money and will not stand behind their contracts! Pissed consumer after loosing around 500.00 of food over a 6 week period!

Never understood why anyone would buy these extended warranties. Your situation proves my point.

The best way to buy appliances is to purchase a basic, no bells and whistles model for a cheaper price and if it breaks during the manufacturer's warranty, get it fixed thru the manufacturer.

If it breaks after the warranty, toss it out and buy a new one. This comes out cheaper in the long run as most appliances will go bad in the first year and after that, as you found out, you will get a runaround as no one will want to replace it but keep messing around with repairs that don't fix the problem(s).

Lowes Replacement

Lowes in Fairview Heights, Illinois - New Fencing

Have been trying to contact store to #2300 for four weeks now, we have not been followed up the store at all. Had a new vinyl fence installed in February against our wishes because of weather conditions, installer said would not be a problem first mistake. I presume installer used a couple of unemployed wine-oes whom really didn't care what they did. Fence is crooked not on property line, patched corners instead of connecting to other fencing so medium size dogs can walk through patched with wood, not on the ground as we requested my smaller dogs walk under, gates were ordered at 4 foot neither one 4 foot creating issue with getting lawn mower through, left deep ruts in the yard with their equipment because ground was soft and muddy because of the weather when questioned about that was told we would have to take care of that ourselves, not very professional, which is the reason we wanted them to wait, plus several muddy places left in my yard where grass isn't growing. I had quote to repair my yard in excess of 5K not happening on my part. Paid 9, 000 for fence is also falling apart on the front installer named Bruce doesn't have time to come and fix under warranty. Not happy with Lowes considering calling TV stations for help, can't get from store.

Lowes - Terrible

The people from Lowe’s were pleasant to deal with BUT The contractor they sent out to repair our refrigerator were anything but. It took almost 2 weeks and 4 visits to finally get it fixed. They ordered the wrong compressor twice, and the dispatcher was very rude. I’m not a satisfied customer.

There are some exclusions on their rebate form. Was it a clearance item?

Was it in stock or did they have to order it? Clearance item and items they have to order are excluded from the rebate.

After buying 3 disposals in less than a year, i Upgraded to the best they had. They would no longer replace the old ones. The new one lasted exactly 1 month and they refused to repair or replace it because they said it was obviously installed incorrectly because I was having so much trouble. Tell me how the *** do you install a garbage disposal incorrectly. My daughters whirlpool washer broke down and after tries at fixing it, lowes told their own repair man they would no longer pay for his services, and they would not send another repair man, so our extended warranty is worthless. LOWES IS WORTHLESS. I will NEVER step foot in any of their stores again. I can afford to go into mom and pop stores where I can get personalized service.

Something sounds odd if you have gone through 4 disposers within a year. Are they being overloaded?

Run without water? My guess is that it is being abused rather than their being defective units.

Lowes - Late delivery

We ordered a new oven. It was scheduled for delivery on April 27th. I called numerous times, got different stories each time. Finally arrived on May 8th. I will never shop at Lowes again. Home Depot has always been better

Just another customer that doesn't understand that stores don't manufacturer the products they sell. Manufacturers are good at backordering appliances without notice.

The only way a store knows when it will show up is when it actually comes off the back of the truck.

Could well have happened at any other store your ordered it from. If time is important only buy appliances that are in stock at the store.

We purchased Range, Dishwasher, Refrigerator, Microwave drawer, Washer, and Dryer. We contracted with Lowes in Rockwall, Texas to do updates to our cabinets with Cathy Anderson designer and contractor Jeff Young. After Cathy and Jeff came to our home for a walk through they were aware of our expectations. Jeff brought a man named Herb that turned out not to be a certified electrician that put some wires together for a light with our gas logs. It smoldered and melted. Repair cost us $522. plus the second man he brought to fix the lights on the same day that installation mgr Dustin Younger came to our home cost us $550. During the 2 days prior Jeff came to our home and presented us with 3 other bills that he said we owed him on the side of the Lowes contract. I called in and was told that your contractors are not allowed to do on the side jobs. Jeff came in and out of our house 4 times the next day saying if someone he brought to work at our home that he get $100. paid to him. He upset my husband and I so much that I ask him to leave and that I will call the police if he comes back to our home. I gave a picture of one of the bills Jeff told us we owed him. Jeff hired his nephew Chase to do the updates to our cabinets. Jeff was supposed to bring the materials. He failed to bring to right materials so Chase used what he sent. It looked so bad that we had to pay another carpenter to rebuild them. The Painter had to come back and prime and paint them. Back to the 2nd electrician John Vslac the Jeff brought to our home did not do the work he stated he would do and got to us for $600. in light fixtures that he said he would purchase at a wholesaler and install. We never saw these fixtures and paid for work he did not do. Our total loss for these expenses were $3,050. not to mention 6 light fixtures in our garage that turned up missing during this time. I have called Lowes customer care and you told me that the contractor is responsible to pay these expenses. I sent these expenses to Jeff Young and he agreed to pay $1,800. We told him to be fair and resolve this matter we would accept $2,500. Jeff Young wrote back this week and said due to some changes at Lowes he was only willing to pay $522. We need an answer from Lowes as to how much we are going to be refunded for our expenses. Other wise we have no choice but to turn this over to our attorney to resolve this matter. Lowes in Cuba, New Mexico - No counter tops

Lowes had to refund my money...They should pay interest..They did nothing to keep me as a customer...Everytime I buy something for my home remodel at Home Depot I feel great..Lowes is missing out on about $30000 for my remodel.....Hope they go out of business!!!

ordered counter tops 4 months ago, never got them, no communication...Lowes didn't care , told me they would refund my money...Three weeks later got a check from loews, shoet of the total I paid...I am going to sue lowes for being stupid????buy from lowes at your own risk..went to home depot, had my countet tops in 2 weeks,,,,willI go back to lowes NOT!!!!

Lowes in Biloxi, Mississippi - A Mess in Prescott AZ

That A disaster! I went to Lowes in Prescott! What A mess this store is. After spending 30 minutes trying to find help in the Tile department. A customer directed to the customer service desk. The entire store the grossly understaffed (one nice clerk told me they hire enough people, but half never show up). Finally after another 20 minutes, a “Manager” tried to help me. SO we go to the tile isle (He cannot fine any Slate tile), but at least I found a few tiles I liked for kitchen area. As I am looking at the tile I ask him to find some white with green accents, and, get this! He tells me he is colors blind and only “Goes off the color name” Which is of course is useless. I wanted sample of two different tiles and he has the balls to charge me after I waited 45 minutes for a color blind employee to help me. He seems a bit slow and bored with his job as did almost every employee. Lowe's just lost a customer to wanted to buy A pellet stove Refrigerator Washer/dryer Tile flooring 2 ceiling fans Home depot in Prescott Valley has superb employees! S that is where I will go!!!!

You are shopping at a big box discount store. You shouldn't be expecting a lot of service.

Of course you need to pay for tiles you want to take home.

Why should they give them to you? Just save your receipt and return the tiles you don't use.

Just received an email - the $1499 refrigerator my family purchased within the 11% rebate offer does not qualify for a rebate because we received an extra $180 off the price. The reason we received the additional amount off was due to lowes error. Our refrigerator was scheduled to come March 11th. We ordered it in store purchased with Lowes card - Wednesday of the week prior no call from Lowes on delivery time - told us they would call out that Thursday... 5 phone calls later Sunday 5:30 pm Lowes advised they had no record of our order. So we drove back to the store and showed our receipt. The amount they charged our card and was included in our monthly interest and payment. Earliest and delivery date of our fridge was then moved to April 8th - so we complained and received additional % off. Also the guys who delivered refused to hook up the refrigerator because our outlet wasnt grounded - paid to have electrician come to verify yes it is ... Didnt know Lowes refrigerator installers could tell by sight whether an outlet is grounded or not. Please explain how *** customer service - lack of knowledge and a Lowes error now makes us ineligible for the rebate....

Just looked at the 11% rebate form on-line and one of the exclusions are major appliances. Looks to me like a refrigerator wouldn't qualify as it is a major appliance.
