Lowes does not care about their customers

I ordered carpet from Lowes almost a month ago to be installed in a condo I recently purchased. This has been the biggest battle to get it ordered, delivered and installed. I have been told lies, or told nothing at all, not been informed of delays in the production of the carpet until I called the store. Employees don't call you back or do what they promised. After several weeks of waiting for the carpet I was told I had to choose another carpet and it would be sent out immediately, that's wasn't so either. In fact, it's a week later and they still don't have the carpet. I was told installers were on standby to install the carpet as soon as it arrived but that's not so either. They still haven't installed it and said it will be another week before they can get to it. I am through with Lowes, they got my money, but not again. They absolutely do not care about their customers or give any kind of customer service or strive to make situations like this right. I will close my account with them and go elsewhere.

Lowes in Dallas, Texas - Sales associate

I am an employee of Lowes and I found that there is discrimation. I was hired to be a commercial sales specialist. Only to find that I was a cashier/csa. The commercial specialist in my dept. where able to sit around and get upset with me when the call list was not done. I was hired to be an apartment rep by the store manager. After his contract was up (2 YEARS BTW) I was only there for less than. I was sent on my way after filing sexual harrasment charges against my sales manager. Not only did I but others as well. Lost my Job asked for a transfer and denied. Told no job available.

Lowes broke my foot

I went into Lowes in LUMBERTON, NC on Jan. 10th. to buy a fan. While my wife was looking at them, I went to look at some lumber for a table. I noticed that the yellow belts were on the floor at both ends of the isle, (where they had been working and had the isle blocked off earlier) I put my hand on the eyelevel shelf for balance to look at a table top below. A giant pressed board 3 feet wide and 6 feet long crashed down on my right foot and broke it completely across. I told the manager and he filed a claim. Today, May 27th they called and offered me 350.00. That won't even pay for the shoes I have tried to wear. My foot will never be the same width again. I went through 3 months of pure ***, and it still hurts today. If you love shopping at Lowes, then by all means do it. But if they hurt you... YOU ARE SCREWED.

You should be glad that they even gave you $350 when they clearly had the area marked off.

I think it was his wife that beat him up and broke his foot, and he is too ashamed to admit it.

Yellow tape should have been a sign to beware. Lowes should make you pay for the damage you caused as well as there pain an suffering for having to listen to an *** cry...

You knocked a board off the shelf and broke your own foot. Now all you see is $$$ signs in your eyes as you run off to see a blood sucking lawyer. It's folks like you that raise prices for the honest folks in the world.

No...dont accept the lousy 350 dollars, get an injury lawyer and don't for get to get compensated for pain and suffering too. Having a broken foot is nothing easy to get rid of and difficult to heal.

You are the *** that caused yourself a broken foot. Everything that happened to you was 110% your fault. Good luck trying to sue them!

Lowes in Albemarle, North Carolina - Did not listen to me and wasted my time

I called the store to order materials for a roofing job. It took me three calls and speaking to the manager to talk with someone in commercial sells. Next, I get a complete *** that attempts to handle my request. Well, I am not sure how much attempt he made because he seemed to totally ignore my end of the conversation. In my opinion he wanted to make the sell and get off the phone. I had to call customer service after getting off the phone with him to get information I should have been able to get with him. He basically cut me off after he had the order entered into the computer and hung up on me as I was trying to ask him something. I was so angry. I called back because I wanted to have the order verified. I spoke with a store customer service representative because I did not want to speak with Roy again. She was not much help either, but at least she was nice and called me Baby at the end of our conversation. I tried to call and complain, but I got the run around and ended up speaking to all the wrong extensions. In conclusion, I am not confident I will recieve the correct materials even if the order was entered right by Roy. I may call back and cancel the order and call Home Depot. What a waste of time on my day off.

Don't you dare talk about Roy like that! That man is the salt of the Earth. The fact that anyone can speak ill of a quadriplegic that gets up and goes to work every day in spite of his condition makes me sick!

Sounds like you are the type of person who wants to take a couple of hours to complete a transaction that should only take 10 minutes. You are not the only person needing help at a busy time of the year. Quit being such a pain in the butt.

LOWES rips you off with coupons

After four times being ripped off by LOWES I refuse to go to this store anymore. I had 2 - $5.00 coupons for Scotts turf builder. First I was told I could not use..then the supervisor which I had the cashier call said it was fine to use as I had 2 of the product. So the cashier rang up and the coupons did not come off...I had to go to the customer service desk. Warning watch your receipt at LOWES - they rip you off with coupons...then you have to be inconvienced and go to the customer service desk to correct....which they do reluctantly. I refuse to shop here anymore....go to Home Depot or any other hardward store....stay away from Lowes....the biggest rip off store going.

Maybe it was the Lowe's you went to. I have never had a problem using coupons there.

I have plenty of 10% off coupons and I have used them in conjunction w/product coupons. I would call Lowe's corporate and more than likely they will send you a gift card for your dissatisfaction.

I have a particular Lowe's that I will no longer shop at. They were so bad that after purchasing $1200 in custom shades that they took off $400 off of my order.

Lowes in Jamestown, Tennessee - No Hardware for Shower Door

Upon purchasing a shower door, we noticed during the sale that the packaging had been opened; however, the sales associate assured us that the package was just torn, not opened. We purchased the door and traveled 45 miles (one-way) to install...when the box was opened there was a pack of screws that did not match the enclosed instructions...we attempted to install the door and was not able to use the enclosed hardware. I called Lowe's and they said to bring the receipt and they would take the hardware out of another box, so we could finish our installation. Went to Lowe's and they gave me the hardware. The point is: when they take parts from another boxed item, they do not replace the missing items. Which causes more problems for the next customer, that is buying the same product. This has happened more than 6 times since 2009; also, this is an extra expense for the customer and requires longer time on the job site.

Lowes Portifino Universal Studio Failed to disclose

Lowes Portifino Resort in Universal Studio was an expensive disappointment. Besides the fact the beds are uncomfortable, rooms are too small, bathrooms are huge with tiny shower that barely sprays your body, the prices are outrageous. The worst experience was at checkout. We had almost $400 in mini-bar charges, and the resort refused to provide a break-down. They said it just was not possible. That's unbelievably bad procedure. Beware of everything you room-charge at this hotel, and get two rooms if you have children. The 7 day vacation cost me over $10k. The staff was ok, certainly not the best. I hear Hard Rock Cafe is much better.

Lowes in Boston, Massachusetts - My daughter has a scar on thee bridge of her nose

While shopping at Lowes. someone hung a sign by a product, which fell down and hit my daughter on the nose. She has a scar there and will probably always have it. She's a very pretty girl and this scar stands out like a sour thumb. She just got a home and is fixing it up, and was doing her shopping at Lowes. I'm having her write a blow by blow description of what happened and how Lowes employees responded. When I have it together I'll see you get a copy. You'll be hearing from me soon!

Lowes in Clarksdale, Mississippi - Incompedent handling order of cherry doors.

On April 8 2010 special ordered interior cherry wood doors to be completly stained, varnished and ready to be hung when delivered. Delivery was to be 2 to 3 weeks. The doors came in 5 weeks later "not finished" and "veneered" instead of solid cherry. Some of the doors are buckled where glued and glue is spread so won't take stain properly. The supplier of the doors are producing an inferior product. We ordered "satin nickel" finish hinges, but they came with polished brass hinges. The store representative knows nothing about the product and is not concerned and would not answer the phone when I called or return my phone calls. His name is Chris Bell. The customer service also knows nothing and was no help and certainly did not provide any customer service. I will not recommend Lowe's products to anyone and would discourage anyone from ordering anything from Lowe's. We paid top dollar for these doors and received a bargain basement product.
