While shopping at Lowes. someone hung a sign by a product, which fell down and hit my daughter on the nose. She has a scar there and will probably always have it. She's a very pretty girl and this scar stands out like a sour thumb. She just got a home and is fixing it up, and was doing her shopping at Lowes. I'm having her write a blow by blow description of what happened and how Lowes employees responded. When I have it together I'll see you get a copy. You'll be hearing from me soon!

Incompedent handling order of cherry doors. | Lowes review from Clarksdale, Mississippi

On April 8 2010 special ordered interior cherry wood doors to be completly stained, varnished and ready to be hung when delivered. Delivery was to be 2 to 3 weeks. The doors came in 5 weeks later "not finished" and "veneered" instead of solid cherry. Some of the doors are buckled where glued and glue is spread so won't take stain properly. The supplier of the doors are producing an inferior product. We ordered "satin nickel" finish hinges, but they came with polished brass hinges. The store representative knows nothing about the product and is not concerned and would not answer the phone when I called or return my phone calls. His name is Chris Bell. The customer service also knows nothing and was no help and certainly did not provide any customer service. I will not recommend Lowe's products to anyone and would discourage anyone from ordering anything from Lowe's. We paid top dollar for these doors and received a bargain basement product.

Lowes Refuses To Lower Interest Rates

We have been loyal customers since 1998 and i have asked repeatedly for a lower interest rate. No deal they tell me and after screwing up our promo amount on our statement with our regular balance, i have had enough. it is ridiculous that they get to charge 22.99% . Now i get different excuses as to why our pmt ballooned from $85 to $110 a month. every one at customer service gives a different reason and believe me i have talked to plenty with giving them some advice to go back to accounting school. As soon as we can we are paying off the balance and will never have another card from them again. the customer service people overall are rude and very uncooperative even going so far as to hanging up when asked to speak to a supervisor. Very crummy indeed. We don't have much of a choice in our town of going somewhere else, for some strange reason, hmmm !! home depot was knocked out of coming to our town.

Are you talking about customer service at the store or at the credit card company? Store associates have nothing to do with the cards, including extending credit lines and APR's.

I have worked in your southport store for a number of years and HATE IT. you try and tell us we don't deserve breaks and the cashiers can't sit down on stools without a doctor's note. We are so unterstaffed its not even funny. Your customers are *** who treat us like *** but YOU are the ones responsible for our discomfort. You turn the heat on in the summer and the air conditioner in the winter to save your *** big bucks. I'd like to shove a plant with thorns up your butts yes i would. Ladies, you're right. Unfortunately this is going on everywhere, in some places worst than others, but seems to be present at some dregree in all sorts of business.

If the associates are treated bad the customer is treated worst, just obvious.

Talking to the boss or going beyond is the answer, or no one will have a job when the doors shut. When it stops being fun its time to move on.

If you think that's bad just think about you not being able to go out of the store for your break since the managers think they will need you. Worst place is in the Spokane Dist. since I heard they are all old eagle people and are worry about their jobs.

Why hide your feelings? I work at Walmart and stand on my feet all day on a concrete floor.

You are due your breaks, but that is for a judge to enforce. Why not sue instead of writing here?

my name is gerald martin, i am a contractor/homeowner. i am dipleased with the quality of you cabinet grade plywood and oak and maple lumber. usally i would get coupons in the mail to offset some of the prices. but i haven't recieved not one in over a year. please respond to my complaint. thank you gerald martin, 332 shonnard st syracuse, n.y, 13204, i shop at the store in syracuse, but i use all of them in my area. last year i spent between 15 and 20,000 on construction supplys. the service is usally good.cabinet making is one of my most common projects, so quality plywood alond with router bits and saw blades are important.i think that quality responces are important to good buisness.

I would first like to say that as a non-Lowes website, it is highly unlikely that anyone that can actually assist you will be reading this.

I would contact 1-800-44-LOWES in regards to their materials they get. This goes beyond a store control, and while we will listen, please save your time and ours and direct it higher up. It will not make it beyond our store. If the bad quality is something new, I would contact the actual manufacturer and mention to them that their quality is lacking and is not the norm! It might be more of an inside error there.

As far as the coupons go, I can not help you with that. No one , at least not at a store level, can. They are sent out from our headquarters, or so I have always assumed, and no we do not have any in the store, nor do we have some kind of mailing list you could sign up for.

I only have received one in my 4 years here, so your guess is as good as mine!

P.S. Not to be rude, but the "I've spent _______" comment is really overplayed. While your business is appreciated, every single customer who has ever complained to me, has said that. It does not change the result. I personally have bent over backwards assisting anyone who has ever came to me, whether it was a $50 purchase or $5,000.

I wandered through the store not sure where to start on my painting project. Not only was I approached several times by employees offering to help but when I got to the right department I was met by a smiling woman who knew exactly what I needed. I obtained the paint and painting equipment I needed as well as a lot of good sound advise on how to go about my project from start to finish. Four days later and I am loving the results. The Valspar Granite paint is the best and I have a whole new fireplace. Thank you Lowe's

Lowes and GE

I purchased a GE washer and dryer from Lowes a year and a half ago. My warrenty was out in one year. One day while washing a load of cloths my washing machine just stopped working. After calling a service company (A GE certified company) to my home, I was told that I needed a motor and a trans. The service company also informed me that the model of machine i have has had problems since it came on the market, he said he has replaced hundreds himself. I was pissed, just like the service man said, there is no way that GE does not know that there is a problem. Did they send out a recall and make it right for the consumer? NO, they did not. The two parts I need cost more than I paid for the machine. So I called GE customer relations and told them how I felt in so many words, they did offer to pay for the parts but not for labor. If i had the machine for 5 or more years then ok but only a year and a half i should not have to pay for anything. I also called Lowes because they sold me this product and they also no there is a problem. Why would u sell your customer a bad product?

I am an appliance manager at lowes, and I must say that it amazes me when customer, like yourself, don't purchase the extended protection plan and then get upset with us because their machine quit working. All associates are trained to inform you that the store warranty is 30 days, and the manufacturer's warranty is 1 year.

Just because mom and pop repair shop says that they have repaired a lot of them doesn't mean that is true.

Quite honestly, you should be thankful that GE was even willing to pay for the parts. Hopefully the next time you purchase a major appliance you will also purchase the extended protection plan, it is a small price to pay for piece of mind.

This is a problem with GE, not with Lowe's. Lowe's agreed to stand behind the product for thirty days when you bought it and Ge agreed to stand behind it for one year.

Lowe's offered to guarantee the product for five years with their extended warranty. You decided to gamble on there not being a problem and when you gamble sometimes you lose.

I purchased a Troy-built *** eater from my local lowes store, used the 2-cycle oil that came with the unit, and got less than 15 minutes of run time before it burned out. When I contacted Lowes, I was told they would send it off for repair. After 2 weeks I was told, the unit is too dadly damaged to repair, because the mixture was too lean. Now they want me to pay an additional $45.00 for a unit that is scrap. Customer service at Lowes has deteriorated in the past couple of years to the point that I will drive an extra 20 miles each way to avoid dealing with them any more.

Lowes customer service is better than any other store I have ever worked at we go above and beyond for OUR customers... Especially on returns we are the most leaniant store out of any store!!!!

So ther must have been some thing wrong with the unit!? U have 30 days to return outdoor power equiptment WITH the RECIEPT! If it's over 30 days lowes will not get credit for it so we will have to send it out for repair ... So too much oil was added or not enough ...

Keep in mind at lowes if it's already put together there is already oil added if it's not there is no oil included so therefore u added the wrong oil.... Lowes does not cover customer mistakes
