Lowes in Leesburg East, Florida - Noise Refrigerator

Bought new refrigerator on 12/28/18 called Frigidaire on 1/17/19 Lowes did not tell me that i had 30 days to return. or we would not be here. it makes so much noise i can hear over tv, Frigidaire said that is the new way this is not my first refrigerator had i know i could returned it in 30 days they could have kept it i do not think i would be the only one with this problem with the technology today it is ridiculous.

I tried to exchange a 16' tape, models and warranties changed, was told to contact the manufacturer. Google Kobalt and what do you get? Lowe's as the supplier, followed by nothing but complaints. So, now what?

What was wrong with the tape? The warranties are against manufacturers defects.

The warranties do not cover damage.

If you took a tape in with the tip ripped off it wouldn't be covered under warranty as it was damaged, not defective. Far too many people try to abuse warranties trying to exchange items that are not truly defective.

Lowes in Houston, Texas - Where is my washer

My son-in-law purchased a washer for me on 3/30/2019. He put a wrong telephone# on the order when he purchased it. I spent almost 2 hours on the telephone yesterday (4/1/2019) trying to change that telephone # and find out when my washer was going to be delivered. When I called 800-810-6012, I was told that I needed to call the local delivery company and talk to them. When I called them, I was told that I needed to call the store where I purchased the washer. When I called them, I was told that I needed to call the delivery service at the 800#. I lost it, at that point, and the sales person was finally agreeable to help me. He called the 800# twice, with me on hold, and was hung up on. I still don't know where my washer is and when it will be delivered. My husband and I purchased a refrigerator from Lowe's, several years ago, and had a bad experience with the delivery service then. They broke a shelf inside the fridge, when delivering it and would not take responsibility for it and fix it. We ended up having to purchase a fridge elsewhere. Their delivery service is horrible!

They have employees who steal the wood products that customers leave for pickup...

them they refuse to check the cameras or inventory.... boycott these low IQ *** buy only home depot

Delivered new oven, driver broke front 2 legs installing we did not see it until after he got our signature. lowes said too bad

bought new frigidaire oven,2-19 driver delivered it and was having trouble handling it by himself. Sure enough after getting our sinature he left. That evening when got home noticed it was not level, got down and looked underneath it and 2 legs were broken. called Matt at claremore, Okla. store, he promised to get someone out here to inspect it the next day, no show. Went to lowes store next day no one able to help with it had reciept. Went home disputed it on cc, lowes finally showed up today 4-1 and said to call frigidaire, they could not help us, they did not have parts. I cannot imagine if i ran my business like this. What can we do here lowes inv 98881.

we were getting drywall loading it our self two workers walked by didnt even asked if we need help. this store is at akron ohio arlington street .we will not go back went there for a few years know .they would rather walk around talking to each other than helping customers.you have cameras all you have to do is look at the tapes.who ever your forman is isnt doing there job

You are shopping at a big box self service store. What do you expect.

Why don't you go to your local full service lumber yard if you want someone to load your product for you?

Sure, you may pay a little more but do you expect the people that are there to load your product for you to work for nothing? It was your choice to shop at a big box store to save a few bucks so you really have no reason to complain.

Lowes - Won’t honor extended contract

I purchased an extended warranty on a floor model refrigerator. The freezer drawer didn’t seal well causing moisture around the top of the drawer that eventually caused a crack in the drawer. The repair man sent by Lowe’s told me that they rarely cover any repairs but he was pretty sure that it would be covered as there was clearly a problem with the seal that has led to the cracked drawer. After weeks of unanswered phone calls and waiting for my file to be reviewed when I was able to reach someone at Lowe’s extended warranty, I was told by a supervisor that it was not being covered because any physical damage negates coverage. It doesn’t matter that the faulty seal caused the damage. The extended warranty is a joke and Lowe’s customer service is horrible. They have lost another customer for life.

Now you know why buying these extended warranties, etc. is not recommended by most consumer organizations. This is how we learn, of course but 'tis a lesson well-remembered.

Second time in a period of two months called for service on 3 year old washing machine. Parts never on the truck. Wait another two weeks come with wrong part. Takes another two weeks this is first time. Current situation AGAIN come w/out part. Waiting two weeks again. Set up a date to come took off from work called to cancel at last minute. Still no service. Call this morning find out they lied to us. Part just ordered. No idea when they are coming. Running to laundromat while caring for 100 year old Mom! What a disgrace. Spreading the word to everyone I know about Lowe’s and their warranty. Never step foot in this store again!

Are you just working with the technician? have you called their service line to make a complaint on them?

just curious. I know sometimes the parts need to be ordered.

sometimes the service line people can help. especially if you ask to speak with a supervisor.

Are you kidding? Do you really expect them to carry all the parts for all the appliances they service in their truck?

That idea just isn't realistic.

Some problems are easily solved but it isn't uncommon to have to order parts. Just a fact of life as trucks aren't big enough to haul a warehouse of parts in.
