Their website states they can deliver lumber AS SOON AS TOMORROW - this is not true, 3 orders in a row I have been told they can not deliver for up to a WEEK after the order. The Lowe's 1-800 # told me it was my fault , I should have read the terms and conditions...."I'm sorry you failed to read the terms and conditions" MAYBE YOU SHOULD STOP MISLEADING YOUR CUSTOMERS! Once, they said it couldn't be delivered so I offered to pick it up instead. They refunded my delivery fee - after spending about 1.5hrs driving to a friends to borrow a trailer, I get a call from Lowe's saying the delivery was on its way - make up your mind people! Twice, they called and told me the delivery driver called in sick - but 2 hours later I see my neighbors up the street getting appliances delivered.......FROM LOWES Third, this time the delivery team is backed up for a week and a half..... The store was nice enough to refund my delivery fee the first two times, but today being the THIRD instance and not being able to get my lumber for 9 days after ordering I am done doing business with this Lowe's.

HOW IS THIS COMPANY STILL IN BUSINESS? Placed order online, waited several hours ( I should have gone in a shopped for it myself, but figured since they offer a service I should try it out.) Big mistake. Called local Lowes they were more than happy to cancel my order since they were so busy. I drove to the store to find out why my online order still shows in process and validate the *** claim they were busy. Sure enough, empty store with employees standing around talking and conversing with each other. No concerted effort to offer any assistance or acknowledge any customer in the store, there were about 15 of us in the store. That's not busy by any standards. Left and drove 28 miles each way to The Home Depot to get fulfill my needs. FYI - they never canceled the order so I was double charged. Pathetic experience. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR MONEY. Apathy should be painful - ie closing stores and people losing jobs when they don't provide a quality service.

They are really going downhill!

First their lawn equipment is horrible, the sell no good brands. We purchased a husqavarna(spelling?) lawn mower 2 years ago at the end of the season, last year we sent it in because it wouldn't start, they tried to blame it on us but eventually we paid and got it back. This year, same thing except they tried to say we bent the shaft even though we have a very level lawn with nothing that could have possibly bent it. The best they would do, even though we bought the warranty, was give us a measly 10% discount on a new lawn mower. After reasearching, they have no brands which have good ratings! On a previous experience, we helped a client in purchasing appliances for their kitchen, after a month, we inquired as to when the outstanding appliance would arrive, we were told that it had never been actually ordered. The manager was the one that helped us, but never hit whatever button it was that would get it ordered. So, we lost the Memorial Day pricing, fortunately there was another holiday coming so they were able to give us that pricing. Still, a month later, it still wasn't ordered! Finally, the ended up selling us one from a store display, for more money and stated they couldn't do anything else about the price. Poor service and poor products. I thought Home Depot was bad before, but they have better quality products and I'll be returning to them, Lowes can keep their 10% discount! Poor!

Literally had to take 3 washers back yesterday then go out of my way to pick the 4th washer up which they said they had in stock I got there and it was wasn't the same so I had to spend more money on it because I need a washer which when talking to a rep. She was a snob which forced me to be a *** had to wasted 40 dollars in fuel and pay another 210 dollars just to get a washer because instead of them giving me a new washer I guess they sold me a refurbished pile will never ever get another appliance through lowes again I'll go to a Home Depot before I go to lowes which they say they sell quality but obviously that's b.s.

Lowes in Martinsburg WV is the worst ever. No one will help customers, when asked they just tell you they don't know! I wanted to know about paint rebate and they knew nothing. I had to go online to research it. Then, at the checkout, the lady asked the customer before me and after me if they wanted to do the rebate for the paint online or by mail. I was never asked! Then, went out of store and saw a group of employees standing around and cussing about another employee! Worst store ever!!

My storm was Special order I was told that it would take 2 weeks but it took longer After I was call this told me that the installation people would call me And that took another week ..when the installation csme out the storm door had a lot glue on it it took them 2 days to get back with me after that i did not hear any thing i call them may 5 2017 at that i was told it will take 14 day i call them may 24 cause the installation had not call they said the only had installation day may 31 im veryThe boss that I spoke with says she did not own a storm door if she on a stormdoor her she will be locked up in jail because of her children ....

Highland, CA Store - Just terminated my employment with Lowe's last Saturday. Stuck in Outside Lawn and Garden on a sunny California Saturday with no help, because of sick calls. Called overhead for assistance twice - 15 people in line and rude management when they approached me. This has happened twice in front of customers and fellow employees. Asked head cashier for assistance with customer who wanted to make credit card payment (I hadn't performed this task yet). Was told in front of customers and other employees that I should know how to do this - "This is cashiering 101." Had to call 6 times for cash register change with no response from head cashiers. Hired part time (my choice) but put on full time due to "summer hours and vacations." Shouldn't you ask me first Lowe's? Customer asked to order Hass Avocado tree. Primary lawn and garden expert was out and I was told by head cashier to tell the customer to come back on Monday when she returned (4 days later). Are you serious Lowe's? Because a person is on vacation the whole operation stops? Customer was upset and said he would go to Home Depot. Assistant manager's roaming or parked in offices. Head cashier sitting in break room. When called will say "it will be awhile before I can get there." Dodging until customers get tired of waiting and leave. Shop lifter came thru lawn and garden - I was there by myself with long line. Got a call from Loss Prevention that I should have been more attentive. When I tried to respond they hung up on me. Overheard several complaints from other employees about how bad the management is there.

I prepaid for fencing materials that was $300. I was told somebody would assist in dropping the product and after an hour and multiple times standing in line to get somebody to come nobody would assist. Finally went to customer service and got my money back and I will be going to Home Depot from now on for everything.

We went into Columbus, MS store and service from the beginning was awful. The employees were not friendly and had to search for help. They were not knowledgeable. We did purchase refrigerator, waited all afternoon for delivery and then got a call that it was damaged. We ended up cancelling order. Some upper management has dropped the ball!!!

Had made a special order for a window which took two weeks to come! The window came in broke and dirty and a piece missing. My husband is a contractor this delayed his job. He reorder the window the manager said he would take care of the problem. Went back the next week same problem the window was cracked! The manager never handle the problem! My husband was very upset! He saided that Lowes will not get his business like I saided he's a contractor and your company is going to lose customers! Someone needs to talk to the day manager at the Easton,PA Lowes the customer service there sucks!!! I'm going to get in touch with corporate office about the situation

In stock overnight delivery turned into out of stock 1 week and counting delivery

Purchased my items before noon on a Tuesday for a Sunday install. I paid the $50 overnight shipping to get items on Wednesday so I had time to inspect and prep them. Wednesday - no items and no shipping email. Call "customer care" on Thursday morning - items haven't even been processed yet. I specifically told the rep that I needed them Sunday for the install - I was told they would be to me by Friday. I said, well you are two days late, refund my $50 overnight shipping. Agent did that and assured me items would go out that day overnight shipping. Finally go my shipping email later in the day - with a ship date of Friday for half the order (the other half is now not in stock). The estimated arrival is now Tuesday next week for half the order via standard delivery. I call "customer care" at dinnertime Thursday and to ask what is going on. "Customer care" says I originally selected standard delivery. I said absolutely not - I paid $50 shipping for express. I made them pull the invoice - now they said I changed the shipping. I said absolutely not! Next answer, items were coming from Florida (I'm in NY) and items were too far away for overnight shipping. They said they will contact the store to see if they can drop it off at FedEX with overnight shipping since they missed the pickup. The store did. I get the revised shipping email on Friday - yep they got it out standard shipping - estimated earliest arrival Tuesday. In summary: 1) Ordered items on Tuesday with expedited shipping for a Sunday job. Estimated delivery date Wednesday. 2) Saturday - not one item made it. New estimated estimated delivery for Tuesday. 3) Half of the order hasn't even shipped yet! 4) Can't cancel the order since it is in progress. I will have to return when it arrives. 5) Charge is made to my company credit card (with payment holds for unshipped merchandise). 6) I know have to run around to 3 towns to grab one here and one there from other competitors. SO SAD - INVENTORY MANAGEMENT NOT ACCURATE, CANNOT FILL SHIPPING ESTIMATES BUT HAPPY TO TAKE EXTRA MONEY ANYWAY, CUSTOMER SERVICE INCOMPETENT AT BEST, LIARS AT WORST.

I ordered a refrigerator online 4/24 - 4/25, I believe it was around midnight so counts as 4/25. When I ordered it, it gave me a delivery date of 4/25 (only reason why I ordered it) because my tenant who rents my house needed a refrigerator ASAP because hers broke Saturday evening and she needed a refrigerator especially for her 9 month old baby's milk. They called and said sorry they could not deliver 4/25 sometimes the Internet gives info that is incorrect,  fine things happen.  They promised me a delivery date of 4/26 so I told my tenant again and she took off work again.  No one called or showed up. We called the your customer service line who said they were running behind that it was on the truck it would be there before 8pm. Before I called customer service my tenant and my self called the store directly and they said they called "our" numbers my tenant and my self and no one answered( I never received a call and my tenant said she didn't either ) but they were still going to deliver.  8 comes around no one comes or calls. We call back, says they are still one there way. 9:30 I get a call saying they went to the residents and knocked and no one answered? ?? Well my tenant was there all day and we have made several calls throughout the day,  waiting and no one called or knocked on the door?? So I called a manager again this time (Darren) before it was (Jerry) and several other employees plus their customer service line, he said he didn't know what happened that he was going to question the driver, and he was going to put the refrigerator on the truck first thing in the morning. So I told my tenant,  who called off of work for the 3rd day. Now today 4/27 no one has came or called. So we called to make sure our refrigerator was on its way,  they said (the store employee) that it was reschedule to be delivered on Saturday the 4/29!!!!!!! What is wrong with this company??  So again I had to call the store and talk to a manager this time( Kim ) he said the computer says a delivery date of tomorrow 4/28!!! First thing first, I got two different people within minutes of each other giving me a different date. Now it's not even being delivered again? ??? Kim said he doesn't know what's going on only what the computer says but that he "promises" it will be on the truck tomorrow morning.  We'll at this point their promises are bogus,  I don't even know if I should belive him. Plus this means my tenant will have to loss another day of work!!!. No one seems to know what they are doing, poor customer service, I'm almost at the point of canceling my order!!! I will never order from lowes again!!                                                                                                              Sent on the new Sprint Network from my Samsung Galaxy S®4.

Ordered a new dishwasher online because it said I woul recieve that product within 24 hrs. Since it was 10 45 pm on 4/24/17 i didnt expect anything that next day 4/25/17, on the morning of 4/26 I recieved an email stating my delivery was scheduled for 4/29/17. I immediately called Lowes Customer service and was promised it would be delivered on 4/26/17 Even recieved a new email stating the new delivery date. It said 2 hr delivery notification ok looking further down the page it said between 7am and 9pm which is 14hrs. At approx. 2 pm i called the c7stomer service dept. Again to check and was informed by a recorded messsge that my delivery was set up for 4/27/17. I waited on hold to speak to a live person for 10 min. Just to be told that there was nothing they could do and I had to wait for the delivery. I informed them that I expected delivery of the dishwasher on the day it was promised online and that I had cleared my schedule for that day and was completely booked the rest of the week and was not avail. the csr just stuck ti her story that nothing else could be done. I informed them that there was another alternative to it and gave two other solutions one they could hire a private courier to deliver it or I was willing to drive to the distributioncenter and pick it up she said that those wrre against policy and were not allowed that I just needed to wait for them to deliver it. At that point I had another option and used it.I cancelled the order.I will NEVER buy anything at Lowes again!

lowe's store in Clay N,Y, very poor customer service and even poorer management customer service, they are driving all the top employees out of the store for better jobs and replacing them with part time people that don't no anything or don't even care to help a customer, I will no longer shop this store until the store manager and the rest of upper management are replaced,the final straw was with a manager named Todd the guy is not only rude but dumb thank you lowes for running a good store and thank you for letting me spend my money now at home depot.
