Customer service person never came back to the phone to give me information I had requested.

I was looking at a kitchen cart that was being advertised. I called and ask if the item came already assembled, and was told "yes" it did. With that information, I went to the Lowes store and ordered and paid for the kitchen cart on 11-24-23. On 12 7-23, the cart was delivered in a BOX. I had to struggle to get the box in the house since I live alone, and am a senior. I called the Lowes where I ordered the kitchen cart and have been on HOLD for the last 40 minutes while I am typing this note. I guess no one is going to come back to the phone!!!

Preferred solution: I would like to have someone come and put this kitchen cart together. If that is not possible, then Lowes can come and pick it up and return it to the store.

Consistently shabby customer service

Lowes - Consistently shabby customer service

Every time I order from Lowes for something that requires delivery I promise myself I will never do it again. It usually takes about 5 years before I fall into hole again.

I did it and today I am paying the price. My recommendation is to NEVER buy anything from Lowes that requires delivery because turns out NO ONE is responsible for actually delivering what you pay for. Lowes isn't because they pay a contractor to deliver it.

The contractor isn't because they aren't Lowes and you bought the item from Lowes. So at the end of it you are just dealing with some robot on the phone who can't do anything either.

Why are you complaining here? You have only yourself to blame.

You know what kind of service to expect but still keep shopping there. As the old saying goes fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

Lowe's didn't complete their installation of a patio door, claimed the labor warranty was expired, falsely signed a completion certificate, offered a $ settlement. Treated us (military veteran) like we didn't matter! Never shopping Lowe's again!

What does being a veteran have to do with anything? All customers should be treated the same. If the installation warranty had expired, how long did you wait before contacting them?

If it's less than a year old contact the manufacturer at the number listed on the warranty. They will send a repair service out to fix it.

Before the purchase they were friendly, but the delivery was pessimistically incomplete and when I went to complain to them they were rude, arrogant, I lost 3 days of my work waiting for the delivery of my appliances

Lowes is like any other store, they don't make the products they sell in the back room. From time to time any store will run out of an item and have to wait for more to arrive from their warehouse or the manufacturer.

You have the choice of waiting for more to arrive or buy it elsewhere. No need to jump on a complaint site and make a big deal out of it.

Credit card interest rate

High credit card rates, Will not use Lowes card to make purchases at Lowes at high interest rates, I can use any other card and get a much lower rate of interest on my unpaid balance, and I have no problem doing that. As a matter fact I can use one of my cards and get 5% off every purchase at all times, I will not use a Lowes card again and Im thinking seriously about opening a Home Depot account and dropping Lowes entirely.

You don't seem to understand that store branded credit cards carry high interest rates. How do you think the credit companies that offer them pay for the "no interest" financing?

If you are going to carry a balance on you account you are usually better off with a card like Visa or Master card. Opening a Home Depot account more than likely won't five you a better rate than a Visa card.

Outrageous Credit Card Changes

If you haven't read your latest Terms changes from this bank on your Lowes Credit Card, read them! Their interest rate has gone to an outrageous 29.99% Returned check fee has risen to $41, like people having financial issues can afford this fine? And, it increases if it happens twice! And, the now they want to charge people $1.99 for receiving statements. Again, hitting the people that have no computer the hardest! We are slow boiling frogs. Don't take this! Reject it! Cut up your Lowes Credit Cards!

I bought a Kobalt 6 1/2 brushless circular saw (Model #KCS 6524B-03) at Lowe's (store #2669) on 2-08-2020. The saw stopped working.

When I press the trigger, the saw will not start. I tried two different fully charged batteries but still no start. These batteries work on my other Kobalt cordless tools; so it is not the battery.

The tool comes with a 5 Year Limited Tool Guarantee and according to the saw's owner's manual, it states to "return it to the place of purchase with valid proof of purchase and the defective product will be repaired or replaced at no charge".

I took the defective saw and the purchase receipt to Lowe's to be repaired or replaced. The employee told me I need to contact Kobalt for warranty claims??

I showed him what the manual states under warranty but he still insisted that the warranty is handled by Kobalt!

So, the question I have is how/where can the saw be repaired or replaced?

The 2 star rating would have been 5 star if the warranty claim wasn't this complicated.

No problems with my other working Kobalt tools. Warranty is the issue.

I don't expect some minimum wage schlump at Lowe's to know about the manufacturer of Kobalt tools warranty claims. For best results, that's for a potential concerned buyer to investigate prior to purchase.

Customer service in appliance department

DoI purchased a dishwasher being told installation and delivery was free. It is not free, you have to buy the installation and then file for a rebate.

I found out after delivery that it would take one month to get an appointment for installation. I was not told that buying at one store and having it installed at a location over 60 miles is a problem. The customer care person in appliances was the worst. Now I have a dishwasher and no way to get it installed.

If I use an outside vendor they will not allow me to file for the rebate. This service is crap and I will never use Lowes again for appliances.

They do not train their folks and I am terrible upset. Now I need to find a plumber to do the installation.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I spoke with the manager. She was apologetic and resolved the issue.

I called the store Nov 15 at 8:40pm trying to get help with making a purchase of an installation plan. The woman told me I had called too late. I asked if I could talk to a manager. She replied that none were available and that she was busy. I should call back this morning. Then, she hung up on me. This is not the first time I have encountered this type of customer service at this store. Rudeness in customer service is not what yall want, I dont think.

If they were damaged when they were delivered why did you even accept the delivery? You should have had them load them right back on the truck and take them back to the store. Once you accept them, as you have found out, returns are difficult.

Delivery never on schedule

Same old story when you called the store twice that it would be delivered on the scheduled date but never show up or get any phone call to let you know. There you are waiting all day for the delivery and it never happens. Website tracking is a joke. It said your the next stop but dont ever show up. Now they said it will take a week to deliver which does not make any sense since it was on the truck suppose to be deliver on the scheduled date the day before.
