You won't find many warranties that cover consumer damage. They cover defects that arise over time.

I bought a dishwasher and paid to have it installed. When they came to install, they said when they took out the old one that we didnt have the conversion kit to install it. Why when i bought this didnt the salesman not know that we might need this. He could have said you might need this, we would have picked it up and we could have returned it if not needed. Better yet why do installers come without the proper equipment. Will not shop here anymore.

Details
Purchased a refrigerator 9/9. Was to be delivered 10/8 They called to say it won't be delivered until the 10/18. But it might be delivered 10/17 today. We called to see what time today and they're looking for the information now and are going to call back later. Not happy with there lack of service. Never again. Wish we had a Menards in Florida.

I can guarantee you that Menards has plenty of delivery problems as well. When you order an appliance that is coming from the manufacturer delivery times can be unpredictable.

If they have it in their warehouse it will typically get to the store within a week. If not it will be backordered and the store won't know about it until the truck arrives. The manufacturers aren't much help in letting the store know when it will show up and you just have to wait until it finally arrives. Menards doesn't have their own delivery service.

They contract with independent haulers and you are at their mercy as to whether they will show up on time or not. Most will bring your appliance in on a 2 wheeler rather than carrying it in risking damage to your flooring.

Yet another vet whining about their discount. Just love that you are going to run to Home Depot, but before you do you might want to read their discount as well.

You are offered a 10% discount on regular priced items. This means that if the appliances are on sale you won't get a discount there either.

The Lowe’s in Shelbyville is in a great location and is much needed. However the customer service is almost non existent. This observation is not based on a one time experience but rather multiple experiences within the last 3 years. It can be at 7 am when the store isn’t busy or around lunch time when all staff seems to take their breaks. After years of dealing with this. I think we have reached our breaking point with this Lowe’s and will be switching to Home Depot. It’s an extra 20 minute drive us but it will all even out when you consider how long you have to wait for assistance at this Lowe’s

And perhaps I have thought about that. That’s why I go to Lowe’s at different times of the day but the result is always the same....

slow to non existent customer service.

I have been shopping there for years at all different times and the result is always the same. At some point the determination has to be made that maybe their customer service could use a little bit more attention to detail.

Perhaps you are shopping at the wrong time. There aren't many stores that will have a full staff at 7AM when there aren't many customers shopping. Same goes for meal times, they can't bring in extra staff just to cover meal brakes.

Signed to have carpet installed over a month ago and still have no carpet. I will be making the second payment on carpet I don’t have! The last excuse from the installer is there forklift broke down. When asked why they didn’t rent one they said “ we didn’t do that “ Why Lowes would continue to use such a company is beyond me.

Call for a warranty coverage that is still in effect on my freezer amd was told that it was voided because there was tape on the drain line underneath the standing freezer. According to them the tech told them that there is tape on it so i guess we the home owner with a warranty turn it over and put take on it. Guess Lowes doesn't want to replace it, so check your drains on anything they deliver for tape and refuse.

Lowes - Buy out on extended warranty when service cost exceeded the cost of the Samsung refrigerator

Called extended warranty department for service. The Samsung refrigerator service problems exceeded the price of the appliance. The bought out my service agreement and was suppose to get a check in 10 working days. It is now been almost 20. I have been lied to several times. Now I heard they never sent it from service to claims and it and now it suppose to be sent and it will be another 10 days. I have a new refrigerator coming because I thought I would have had a check by now. I am beginning the think they are very dishonest. I will be calling every couple of days.
