I was told they would not warranty any more kobalt tape measures so much for their lifetime warranty.

The problem is that consumers don't bother looking at the warranty. The warranty covers manufacturer defects, NOT DAMAGE.

Ripping the end of your tape off isn't a defect. It is damage and not covered under warranty.

All too many consumers feel a tape they damaged should be replaced under warranty. No store or manufacturer should be responsible for the abuse of a tool by a consumer.

When I did the unsafe move I cut my hand. A type a cut I have done many times in my life... no big deal .. as I went to the men's restroom to clean up the mess I made an lowes employee asked if he could help, I said, no thanks... 'embarrassed'.. As I was cleaning the bleeding, he came in with bandages and sterilized wipes..... I wanted to thank him... So tell your people .. thanks

I've been employed with Lowe's since 1996. After 5 years I decided to try something else but didn't work out so after 5 mo. I had been rehired and have been with them since then. Now I feel like my job is at risk for (1) not being able to sell the Extra Protection Plans or EPPs. I've sold some but evidently my rate of selling these to the customers is very low. Believe me when I say that I have offered the plan to the customers but few and far between have wanted to purchase them. I work in the proservices area so many of the customers do not want to spend their bosses money, I guess. It is very difficult to sell these plans to these contractors, etc. I've been called on the carpet for not selling them so my work area (front end) has been changed much to my disappointment. I've asked around and and there are also cashiers that haven't sold any of at all. (2) I had my cphone on me and was called out about that. Almost all of the cashiers use them while at work! even the head cashiers. If any comes back to cover that's what they get out of their vest pocket is their phone! I am not responsible for anyone but myself but at the same time I feel singled out for some reason. I've been at that store for 15 maybe 16 years. Know a lot of the workers that come in there and I know for a fact they'll not like this cashier being moved. All of this might sound petty to you whoever is reading this but I'm actually worried sick. I don't know why or understand why this is happening to me. I can't quit or leave and I am scared!!! Is there some way someone can shed a light on this situation. Thank you

no, the issure I am referring to (7July) has not been resolved. I am still at the area where they, my managers, thought I'd do best at (their perception).

I've just decided to do my best at where they scheduled me after all main thing it is a job for me. I've learned the necessary job for the lumber and proservices area but am not able to use this knowledge as far as the contractors/workers is concerned. They have scheduled cashiers to work the area and it is a way for them to learn these contractors/workers don't have the patience for the people to take the time to learn.

Although I have a set time to go in and work and I do get the weekends off which doesn't mean that much to me. I am more than grateful for the time off don't get me wrong but have things personally that I need to take care of that I can't while I'm working everyday of the week....and weekends places are closed......thanks for being there.

Lowe's Protection Plans are not for items that will be used commercially. They shouldn't even be sold to contractors.

Mary was knowledgeable and informative regarding what I needed. She added to my quest by suggesting other things. Great job, She was willing to go above and beyond what I needed and was also ready to help another customer after I was finished. She is a good representative for Lowes as she embodies what Lowes stands for...Helping Knowledge customer interest and support. Keep her as a member of the Lowes staff. She is worth her salary and then some. I feel that I have said all that is necessary and anything more is just hyperbole. One hundred words is way too much. What else could I say that would not be redundant.

Lowes has signs up saying that there in stock cabinets are 30 percent off the thing is the sign is up high to where you cant read the fine print. We was going to buy some cabinets that we need but the man from lowes said you have to read the fine print it was for just 2 kinds of in stock not all in stock. I think that is very deceiving and should never put a sign up over the ones that isnt on sale.very very disappointed.

They don't keep appliances at store, don't know where they come from. Ordered a dishwasher and said it would arrive in 3-7 days. We are on day nine and they said there is a P.O. but that's all there is in the notice. So I'm assuming that they have to purchase the item from manufacturer and haven't yet so my money that they have is in their account drawing interest till they purchase it. I order a auto part a couple of months ago and got it 10 days later, it came from Japan. I could have ordered this from an online independent appliance dealer or off eBay and had it in a week. Never again will I buy anything from Lowes, they need to change their name to Slowes.

Lowe's does stock many appliances, but your must be on back order or special order.I usually cannot find anyone with enough competence to help in the appliance dept.

Suggest that you cancel your order.

Ordered new appliances three weeks ago and still waiting on a stove and dryer. Called customer service 9 times for any information and nobody knows all they told me was we'll look into it and call you back. I got my lowes credit card statement and im paying for something i dont have yet. Xo delivery is the worst, they left me waiting 3 times and didnt show up. Customer service is very rude and could care less about my issues. Im now drying clothes on a clothes line paying for a dryer i dont have. But they offere next day delivery!! 3 weeks and counting GET IT TOGETHER!!!

Lowes - Carpet install

I purchased carpet from Lowe's in early Dec.2016 for two bedrooms and four closets for a total of 528 square ft. at the Brownsville TX store #2468. Their contract installer for my area, Laguna Vista TX, is Vintage Tile out of Mc Allen TX. The carpet arrived to be installed Dec.20th.I was going out of town Dec. 23ed for Christmas. I had moved all the furniture out of the bedrooms, except the beds and I moved the clothes out of the closets to keep damage to a minimum because I have had carpet installed in the past with some bad results when the installers moved my furniture. In my opinion Vintage Tile now takes first place in terrible carpet installs! They didn't take the doors off any of the entrance ways to the bedrooms or closets. They didn't bring a carpet stretcher. They only knee bumped the carpet to the tack strips. They gouged some of the baseboard in a bedroom. A handle in each of the bedrooms was pulled off the door because the carpet was higher then that they removed and drug on the new carpet when opening the doors. We wanted the carpet tucked in the entrance ways of the bedrooms so when they installed the strips to do this they cracked the tile in the hallway! In each of the entrance ways to the bedrooms they cut the carpet so there was a seam two feet inside the doorway. There's more, but Christmas wasn't very Merry. When they finished they asked me to sign off on the job and I asked them to leave. I called Lowe's and spoke to Joy Escobedo, the installed sales coordinator and explained the problem. She and her associate Ryan came to my house, took pictures then called Vintage Tile. Vintage sent another installer out to the house who took measurements and ordered all new carpet to reinstall. These guys did a good job. Asked Joy about some kind of compensation for this mess, so she and assistant store manager, Bobby Hopes, made me an offer to my satisfaction. I read some of the other complaints posted, but in my case Lowe's store #2468 in Brownsville TX took care of my problem. It's my Lowe's.

I remember when lowes told everyone family was the back bone of the hard workers . Well you took away christmas and holiday gift cards or the little extra bonus money the employee youst to get. Then you envoked the seven year no raises what is up with this. People need raises the economy stinks and family should always come first. why would you have an employee only party at lowes not a husband and or significant other spouse envite for store of year party with food and dancing are you trying to break up home by allowing husbands and wives to be single and dance and play games you are so foolish childish not to remember family first. I was so excited my husbands store made store of the year he told me the other employees had to serve the employees lunch i was cool with it until i seen music and dance and party fun and guess what no families just employee made me feel like family don't matter .
