We purchased a kitchen remodel from Lowes in Fresno, CA. The materials are pretty good and look nice. However, it's been over a year and the project is not complete. There are missing / incorrect pieces that have never been replaced. The contractor seems to have written the project off. Promises are made to order pieces and fix problems. A few parts arrive but no one ever follows up or shows up. Tonight, the garbage disposal literally fell off. There has been a leak under the sink for months that the contractor looked at once and then never came back to fix. Maybe it was because the garbage disposal was not properly installed. Now we don't have a functional kitchen sink and (based on past history) we will have to hire our own plumber to fix the problem if we want it fixed sooner than 2-3 weeks.

Lowes - Don't waste your time

They have been approving my "military documentation" for 6 months. The process, at least in my case seems to be broken. I've read some of the comments here. It's not that we vets expect anything from Lowes, or anyone else. It is their marketing decision to offer the discount because it's good for their PR, and business in general. I simply went to Home Depot and ordered my $2,500 worth of appliances there. There's always a choice. I'm afraid Lowes has made the wrong one advertising what they will not, or cannot provide. It's much the same as the "verification process" for being "verified" as a vet-owned business. They make you defend yourself for a crime you have not yet committed. The penalties of fraud and perjury is not sufficient for them to accept your sworn information as true. Swearing my allegiance by raising my right hand was sufficient when asked to go to war, but apparently, insufficient to bid on govt contracts, or buy a hammer a Lowes.

If you registered with Lowe’s as a Vet online, you then have to go into your local store with a copy of your DD214 to complete the verification process. They just need to see a discharge date and whether you were honorably discharged or not. Then your veteran discount registration will be completed.

I did give them a DD214, Gov ID card, and everything else they asked for, online, and in person. Evidently, they just don't like me.

People always give the homeless veterans peanut butter samwitches, but they don't really like getting them because they are dry and often they don't have anything like milk to drink with it. I think that people should start making peanut butter and jelly samwitches and including an ice cold quart of milk along with them, so that the samwitches are easier to eat and taste better accompanied by the milk.

God Bless everyone for helping the veterans! (also, they don't mind it when people give them an ice cold 40)

Lowes - Lowe’s awful customer service

I places an order on line end of January for a whirlpool washer. Was promised delivery on February 5th that was pushed back to the 7th. Then I got a voice mail from Beech Grove In store manager saying I was still scheduled for delivery on the 7th.i also got an email saying the same Then I got a call from another manager next day saying the delivery had been pushed back again. They were willing to give me a 10% discount on the order if I’d wait so I said ok. Then next day I get a call from a lady saying there would be another delay. She said I can’t give you any more discounts to wait so I canceled the order. The most awful customer service I’ve ever had. I went to Home Depot. Much better service.

Lowes - Horrible Delivery

Lowe's seems to contract out some or all of it's shipping. In my case this went to R&L delivery in Portland, OR. I can't even express how disorganized, unfriendly, and just generally unprofessional the whole experience is/was. I would suggest not putting any value in the delivery date suggested by the Lowe's website. If you are used to an Amazon or similar service this is not it!

Lowes in Vista, California - Poor Warranty Service LG Range does not work

We strongly do not recommend buying the LG gas oven/range model LSG4513ST due to quality issues. We also strongly do not recommend buying the LG gas oven/range from Lowes due to poor repair service, and the lack of good faith to honor the purchased extended warranty. We purchased a LG oven/range, LG refrigerator, and Bosch dishwasher from Lowes for our kitchen remodel, including a Lowes 5 year extended warranty. Our LG oven/range was installed April 2017, and we immediately observed that the control panel would signal the oven had achieved programmed temperature, but bake or broil items were undercooked. We observed the control panel would signal the temperature had been reached in about 5-10 minutes, but the oven interior took about 45 minutes to reach temperature The LG service technician in October 2017 stated that the oven/range function was normal. In October 2018, the oven/range began turning itself off after being programmed for bake or broil. Lowes service has made five service calls during November and December 2018, without fixing the problem. Lowes notified us that our extended warranty was invalid after four service calls. The extended warranty was confirmed valid after we threatened legal action. On January 28 2019, Lowes Service phoned and indicated the oven was to be replaced. On Feb 1 2019, Lowes Service reversed their position and decided to schedule a repair appointment for Feb 7. We have not had a functioning oven for four months.

Lowes in Killeen, Texas - No customer service

I have been working on one of my rental houses in Killeen the last month and always shop at Lowes. There are a lot of employees working there. However, they are focused on Lowes needs, not the customer that is needing help. You see them walking around like on assignment or setting up merchandise shelves but no one is asking if they can help you. I normally shop at the store closer to home in Temple. They are much more focused on customer service but could use more staff. I believe the issue starts with the local management. Employees need to remember the first reason they are there is for the customer, not their supervisor.

Problems with Lowes bathroom remodel

I want to start by saying that the end result of our remodeling job with Lowes was beautiful. Unfortunately, I do not feel we received the level of customer service or value that I normally expect from Lowes. The bid that we received from Lowes was substantially higher than other bathroom remodeling bids we received. In the end we decided to spend the extra money for two reasons. The first is that they promised to provide a single point of contact in the store and told us that they would manage the contractor performing the work. The second was the life time leak warranty. I don't know how the leak warranty will work out, but the management of our remodeling project was HORRIBLE. The primary problem was that the work was performed whenever the contractor could find someone to work. The result was that it took about 5 months to remodel a bathroom, during most of which the bathroom and our master bedroom closet were not usable. When we called our project manager at Lowes we were told to call the contractor. When we called the contractor he would make promises on when the next workers would be at our home, only to repeatedly to miss those deadlines. We complained, were promised it would get better, then the whole cycle would start again. Given how long we were out of a bathroom and how bad the project management was, I believe that we definitely did not get our money's worth and wish we had rolled the dice on a contractor that was 20% less!

Lowes - Manager Review

New manager. Olga Harasses customers for their reviews. She gets a big fat bonus. I find it bogus and disgusting. She takes employee phones to make reviews and they can't say anything. She is just not someone I want to work for.

I signed a contract with Lowes April 6, 2018 for a small kitchen upgrade. It is February 2, 2019 and my kitchen is still not finished. It was suppose to be finished July 2, 2018. Some reasons for why it is not completed: measurements were way off, ( 16 inch error ) contractor didn't show up or call, charged for services not used and severe lack of communication between customer and store. I reported them to the better business bureau. I am dealing with them now. I will not refer anyone to Lowes as you can imagine. I hope this review will help. Janna Irvine, Old Town, Maine.

Lowes in Doral, Florida - 4 hours later and nothing pulled

Details
Placed the online order at 2 pm on Saturday arrived at 6pm and nothing had been done. The internet desk was closed the employee left early. They had no back up. We asked fora copy of our order they printed it we pulled it then they told us 2 items were incorrect. Why bother with online ordering.

Anonymous you are basically an idiot - why order a pizza if you are going to pick it up?? Why reserve a rental car or purchase air fare if you are going to the airport?

People order online to save time and its a service that is offered Plus if there is only one item in stock if you order it online it can be pulled and set aside for you to pick up.

Some of us have real jobs and did not work at Lowe;s for 7 years because we aren't losers like you. The number of times you responded why shop online if you are going to the store anyway shows your stupidity.

Very true, why bother ordering online if you are going to the store to pick it up anyway? If I'm shopping in the store I expect their sales people to be helping the customers IN THE STORE as a top priority rather than running around pulling orders for people that are too lazy to come in and pick Their own.
