Purchased a GE gas stove, a trim kit, and new countertops from Lowe's. When I purchase the trim kit they told me it would work for my oven.
It took longer than normal for my countertops to be installed properly. After waiting patiently without complaining, they finally fixed the problems of my countertop. Now I was ready to do the final tidbits of my kitchen installation, including the trim kit around my stove. Unfortunately the trim kit does not work properly.
When contacting Lowe's they refused to reimburse or exchange the product due to it being over 90 days since purchasing. The trim kit has never been used, and still has its original packaging. It would not have been past that time if the countertops that I had purchased from them had been installed correctly. Now I am stuck with a $175 product that I cannot use.
I have always tried to make Lowe's my number one home improvement store and have spent over $7,000 in the last 5 months at Lowe's.
But due to all these problems this is the last straw. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

This is a follow-up of the original Review Complaint I posted on 10/21/21.
No. Lowes did not contact me.
I contacted them. In fact, over the weekend of 10/22/21 to 10/24/21, charges showed on my bank statement that the order had moved from pending to an actual credit card charge ($98.13). It also showed a credit for the 6 bags of mulch (split order) Which was a total of $19.13. They still continued to charge my card for the split order that I had rejected for the $79.00 delivery fee.
I had to call the Port Charlotte, Fl store to get a credit for the $79.00 (fraudulent delivery charge) associated with the original order that was generated out of the North Port, Fl store.
This all sounds a little confusing. This is in fact fraudulent charges and unethical practices being done with on line orders here in my area.
The unethical and fraudulent practices originated with the North Port, Fl store. The Port Charlotte, Fl store did not know why this was being done this way as they ironically charged me a $79.00 fraudulent delivery fee on a split order.
I had this happen with another business here with an on line order and resolved that corporately.

Still not resolved. Corporate customer service said the store manager can do this without corporate involvement.
So I am still banned from this store and have to drive an additional 20 miles to got to a home center. Luckily there is a Home Depot and a Menards closer...
She demanded I bring my wife in to make the selection as men didn't know what to get. I asked when another department person would be in as I did not like her attitude.
As I was leaving I was stopped by the assistant manager and informed that the flooring associate was terrified of me and that I was being banned from the store. The flooring assoc. that was NOT there supposedly accused me of asking her out repeatedly and harassing her.
The store manager and assistant manager refused to listen to me and hear my side of the story. So I am now banned from this store and have to drive an extra 20 miles to visit a similar store in this area, where this store is within sight of my house.
Customer banned due to employee feelings? Never heard of such a thing.
Preferred solution: Reverse this ban and apologize to me.

When a major retail store, from employees to its CEO, does not care about you as a customer, well that's what Pissed Consumer is for. I purchased a washer/dryer from Lowes.
To this day from the month of April, a saga of error plagued the purchase and problems that remain unresolved. I have gone to the store, called, written the CEO, emailed a supervisor, and pleaded with Lowes, reported to XPO (their delivery contractor) including a written estimate for damages as well as responding to their immediate phone contact for a review, almost all to no avail. The phones were not answered during business hours, more than answered. When I managed to get through by phone I was rendered a non-customer when told I am with a customer and will call you back.
I have spent lots of $$ with Lowes so why am in not a customer? The problem was, most calls were not returned as promised. Damage estimate was never forwarded by Lowes as agreed by supervisor. Damage report directly to XPO was ignored.
Orders by sales were made incorrectly. CEO letter has gone entirely unanswered. Corporate office hold times were about 3-4 hours. They were always concerned, quick to apologize and provide a case number.
That is where it ended.
And months later with machines finally installed and working, after full payment was made before the due date, my Lowes card got charged a second time by Synchrony bank. And Synchrony? Beware! Another subcontractor?
That is the bank which handles loads of cards that bear the name of many large corporations. IE, the Lowe's card, or Walmart card or fill-in-the-blank, may well be Synchrony. When you contact them, they cannot give you info about charges. They will only repeat the date and charge.
Huh? I was stunned. Lowes on the other hand, did not know much about Synchrony. Again, to date, a credit of roughly $1600 had been issued by Lowes??
But where to and to whom? Into thin air for all I know. Lowe's never made contact after I asked why I got charged for 4 machines. Also, a promise was made to sort out the damage estimate.
These huge machines sat by my front door where I had to maneuver around them for 2 or so weeks. Damage occurred at the time of delivery by XPO when could not install since the parts were not ordered. I was never contacted again regarding damages by either Lowes or XPO.
A word about XPO, the delivery company that works with Lowes. They are separate entities.
Contracting for services seems to be a way of distancing one company from another to avoid liability.
To Lowes credit, prior purchase was a stove. They swapped it when I was aghast at how badly it functioned. (industry standard?). This could/should be a different review but I feel compelled to add it now.
Why do appliance designers make stoves with EIGHT burners, convection, an air fryer, griddle atop a flat stove top plus being smart rather than make excellent stoves with four burners and an oven with true quality?? They need to go the same route as condensation dryers!

What is shown in your store inventory is completely wrong at multiple locations. I paid for an order this morning and when I went to pick it up they couldn't find it.
They sent me to another store that said they had plenty in stock and when i got there they had 10.....the store location that showed the largest inventory was an hour away...I would hate to drive all the way there with out verification at this point but NO one answered the phones.
Oh I apologies so much for the inconvenience, this is not the experience we want to have I will also let my supervisor to know about this and also any time you need assistance to verify inventory of a Item here we are also for you! I really apologize again since I understand howe you feel, you can also leave your feedback about this at the website and I really apologize again.
Because I needed the product I went a head and unknowingly drove the hour and luckily they had what I needed but this entire process was ridiculously time consuming.

How can you verify a product unless you are fiscally able to see it. As I mentioned, multiple stores systems said they had it but then when I got there they couldnt locate it.
The product Iam refering to is sku # 136****.
And I know 4 stores that had 0 on hand although system shows them having it.

No. I just was making the point that I have been a loyal customer for years.
The rules are fine except that it was the fault of Lowe's and their subcontractor that it took longer than the 90 days. You must be a Lowe's manager to make such a stupid comment
So you expect the rules to not apply to you based on money spent? How entitled are you?
