Go to appliance store for appliances. Not Lowes. They do not know anything and do not do any repairs etc. also avoid whirlpoop-poo at all costs. My dryer quit heating after 2nd week.

I bought my house last year. The lady I bought it from had a warranty on the gas water heater. I called and they said parts and the water heater are under warranty. the catch i have to bring in the broken water heater tonget the new one. This means that i have to hire s plumber to remove it. Take it back to the store and then have the plumber come back to install it. Really? Well you have lost my future business and i am going to share this with anyome and everyome so jn hopes you lose their business also. ridiculous.

Lowes didn't make the water heater and are not responsible for the warranty, the manufacturer is. If you have a complaint about a warranty it should be directed toward the manufacturer, not the retail store.

If the person who bought the water heater (and it wasn't you) didn't like what the warranty covered they could have bought it elsewhere or purchased a service plan that would have covered the parts as well as labor.

Perhaps the person you bought the house from was comfortable with doing their own labor and didn't mind a warranty that covered just the parts. You really shouldn't be complaining anyway as you didn't purchase the water heater.

Details
We purchased a $3000 refrigerator with a valve leak wich caused a stain of in the door, we called for it to be repaired and it took a month to respond, we were told that they change the door but they came to only repair the valve now they stain on the door is cosmetic and they refuse to change the door. We were told we can not talk to the CEO because he does not take phone calls. Now we are stuck with a refrigerator that we just purchased a year ago with a warranty that is good for nothing. We will never buy from lowes again!

Also, Lowe's does not have their own repair service. So if you have a problem why don't you write a review on the contracted services' page, rather than Lowe's.

Lowes doesn't stand behind its products

I had a clogged sink. I went to Lowe's and bought a Cobra-power drive snake to assist with the clog. Less than one hour of using this product (didn't recoil, snake was flimsy and was ineffective) I began angry that this product was a piece of junk. Two hours after purchasing, I returned it to Lowe's. They would not allow a return of the product (hazardous waste), which I said I would take care of responsibility, but I wanted my money back. This is a bad product. After 10 minutes of people running around and leaving me standing there, Lowe's refused to make this situation right, I left the store, not to return….Additionally, the woman at customer service was very rude, not only to me, but also the man before me. This was the Aliso Viejo store.

bought an expensive ceramic grill. it was delivered. when we opened it all up, it was damaged inside. Lowes came and got it, but the credited our Lowes charge $592.92 when purchase price was $614.57. the customer service line says to call the credit line, the credit line and the credit line says to call the store, the store says to call the credit line....seriously? $21.60 no one returns calls, or emails. last year we spent more than $10K with lowes as we fixed up the new house. This years Masterbath redo goes to HOME DEPOT!

Lowes in Woodstock, New York - Nightmare construction

it has been nothing short of an ongoing nightmare that started back in april, 2014. I used most of my life savings to have construction done on my home. Without going into exhausting detail, suffice it to say that I have had to live with my home turned upside down, living in demolition for weeks on end, among other things. I am beyond disgusted with lowes. Lowes was paid in full but failed to deposit the monies in escrow pursuant to ny law.shareholders of this company should run for cover. Lowes is really horrible about returns, sometimes even with reciepts. They love to sell product but do not like to handle returns..I have had nothing but trouble each and everytime I have needed to return anything, customer service is horrible. I have been told I had made bunches of returns, which was not true, I asked when the last return was made, I knew I hadn't returned anything for at least 6 months & they couldn't tell me dates or any details. I have made bunches of purchases but not bunches of returns. I will no longer be purchasing anything at Lowes only Home Depot

LOWES CREDIT CARD FOR QUEBEKERS: NO THANK YOU

Lowes credit card has been issued to me last year and I try to use today (for the first time) to purchase items that are available online only. I called Lowes to order the items and gave the representative my address and told him that I would use my Lowes credit card. Guess what.... you cannot use your Lowes credit card for online purchases if your are a Quebec resident. As I found this situation ridiculous and frustrating I wanted to understand what their policy is! so I called the Lowes and they told me that thy understand my frustration but there is nothing they can do. they cannot give me what is the rationale for the different treatment for the quebec residents! now guess what I am going to do with this credit card!!!!

Lowes sucks! I orderd and paid for two 55 packs of osb and two sliding doors online. I drove an hour to the nearest lowes and they wouldn't give me the osb becuase it was a false advertised price. I waited a week and they finally called to say they have disclaimers and wont honor their mistake. The executive services were rude and pretty much just said go to ***. They had the false price listed for over a week and kept ignoring my call till the day they finally fixed it...... I will do all my bimusiness at home depot.

did you make the Lowes you travel to the store you attempted to pick up materials, were you in a different state looking at the LOWES >COM add?.I am surprise if the way you acted is anything like the way you wrote your complaint, Home depot is looking for folks just like you.
