Details
Lowe’s hired contractors to put a roof on. The roof company left trash in my yard. I called Lowe’s, first call after explainnng everything to customer service rep- she hung up. Call back finally three days later trash picked up but the company still left a hung piece of wood or something in my yard. The Lowe’s guy comes by in a truck sees the trash and says the company will be back to pick up the trash. One week later the trash is still left. Don’t bother with Lowe’s. They take your money but they don’t complete the job. Terrible horrible mess. It’s tiring and frustrating. Don’t trust Lowe’s to get the job done.

Lowes - So frustrating! I will never buy Lowe’s again

Dealing with the warranty company to fix my dishwasher has been so frustrating! I have been dealing with rude service people and it has been a month and my dishwasher is still not fixed! I spend a lot of money any Lowe’s but I will never shop there again because of this !

Lowes - Horrible customer service

Several weeks ago I went on-line to find a shower enclosure and door for my spare bathroom. The website gave me a two week delivery time, but then went to the store as sometimes the websites are not updated. I spoke to a salesperson in plumbing who told me that the unit is sold as a 4 piece assembly, but also as individual pieces. I asked the salesperson if she could double check for me. I was told I needed to do that myself. After much discussion, she finally agreed to walk around to find them. Parts were in stock, and I placed an order and paid for all 4 pieces and a shower door. Then it all went from bad to worse. Went home and read reviews on the shower door and they were horrible, so I went to the store to cancel it and get another one. At 5:30 on a Saturday night, I was told that there were no salespeople to help me, because they all left a 5:00, and I should come back the next day! Came back the next day to cancel the shower door, and was told that I couldn’t cancel the door, until it was picked for delivery (how dumb is that). I found a shower door I liked, but the door was not in stock in the store a mile from my house, but was in stock in a store 35 miles away. AND, they don’t do store to store transfers. So I could either, order the door online and hope that they would pull the door before someone else ordered it (they only showed 2 in stock) or drive 35 miles to the store and then pay an $85 or more delivery charge. My solution , which is what I should have done in the first place, was go across the street and order a beautiful door from Home Depot. Customer service could not have been better. I carried the small pieces home, and made arrangements for the door to be picked. When my contractor went to Home Depot to pick up the door a week later, it was right up front waiting for him. A sales associate helped carry it to the van. Total time approximately 10-15 minutes. He then went to Lowes, and waited over an hour for someone to actually find the four pieces, then find someone to pull them from the back of the store and carry them to the van. Halfway through the install, he discovered that they gave him the wrong side panels. So back to Lowes, carrying the wrong panels, getting a refund from rude, non-caring, customer service personal, finding a sales associate to find the right pieces, and paying for the correct parts to yet another rude, and uncaring cashier. I am done with Lowes; I will never shop in the store again. I have cut up my credit card and in the future will do all my shopping at Home Depot .No wonder Lowes store is always empty. At Home Depot you are lucky to find a parking space. Regards, A new and loyal Home Depot customer

Lowes - What else????? Installation not completed as contracted for nor even scheduled

I ordered and paid for the installation of two storm doors and the French door kit on July 20th, with installation to take place on July 30th. Of course, no call, nothing, so I call on August 4th and was told that the doors arrived late (August 3rd), and that I should hear from the contractor to schedule installation within 48 hours at the beginning of the next week, since this was a Saturday. Still, nothing so I call again on August 9th, this time I was told the doors arrived on August 2nd. The CSR proceeded to "call" the contractor directly and I was told the contractor would be calling me to schedule installation. It is now August 14th and I still have not heard from the contractor. This is the most ridiculous service I have ever experienced.

Lowes - Online phone number using bad language

I was looking up Lowe’s phone number and under NC it has PISSED CONSUMERS !! I would think you would be more business like I. Your advertising !!! I will not shop a Lowe’s because of the language !! One hundred words to leave a message is Rediculous !!! God bless America and President Donald J. Trump the best president we Americans have had since RONALD REAGAN !!! President Trump has done more in his tern to date than any other president ever!! More jobs lower taxes coming opening our factories and NO MORE CHINESE JUNK just AMERICAN MADE ITEMS !, Hallelujah !!!! I still think I have 100 words for crying out loud !! I have been a LOWES commercial customer for 22+ years I ordered windows for my Home as part of an exterior renovation on 4/20/18 and pre paid $4500 It has been a very frustrating experience I am not getting anybody to stand up , be accountable, get the job done Specifically the CO office. The Manager Dwana and rep Eric gave no follow thru, no accountability, they are out of the loop. Communication is hit and miss. If I don’t hunt my windows down nobody else does The windows were to be installed 6/7/18 1 was broken during shipment Three of them were ok but were NOT installed 2 were ordered WRONG Installers left the job without installing any windows 10 days later Lowes finally came and retrieved the windows from the middle of my driveway where the installers left them Eric confirm delivery 7/19, then 7/25, then silence .. ... The 3 windows that we’re correct have now been lost , stolen , sold at the store- nobody knows! Now I hear the new delivery date to be 9.12.18!!!!! install maybe.....

Lowes - No accountability

Paid for my blinds to be measured, set appointment and it’s now an hour past appt time and no one called to confirm or indicate being late. Continuous calls to store and no one knows anything and no appointment book. Rep says she will leave message. I’ve called 3 times so far. I’m going elsewhere!

My goodness, an hour late. I hope the person coming to measure didn’t get into a car accident and is dead in a ditch somewhere.

I missed it...

When did society become so self-centered and impatient. It must be nice to live in a world where nothing ever goes wrong and everybody is always on time.

I went in to lowes in hammond,la to inquire about several job postings i saw on indeed.com i filled out a few over the last month or so then i recieved an email on august 7th saying were considering other applicants ok so i paid it no mind not even a day later i see about 8 new jobs posted on indeed.com an the lowes website so i filled out 4 this time for different openings friday aug 10th today is the 13th so i went to the store thinking i would give it a try to have better luck only to find that the H.R manager name Sarah was so rude to me for 1 i sat outside her office waiting only to speak to because several managers an workes at the front of the store when i came in directed to her so i thought she could help me but after an hour sitting outside her door because one of the managers told me i could wait to speak to her if i like to so i said cool ill wait because i was serious about the job so she open the door i walked to her door an said ms sarah she goes yea in a rude tone i said they sent me back to talk to u about an application i filled out on line she says who sent u back here again in a rude tone well the application process is when u fill it out online an if we review it an u qualify we will call u again in a rude tone so she knew how she talk to me was wrong i knew how the application process worked i just really wanted to give it a shot an come to the store to talk to someone because sometimes it proves to people that you really wanna work but Sarah in H.R was really really really rude to me she was disrespectful an such nasty person i didnt mean any harm im sorry if i bothered u i was just trying to get a job at lowes an become part of a team because im always there shopping an i always see the now hiring banner out front so i thought id give it a try so on my way out i stopped a lowes worker an described to them my experence with sarah an that person stated shes always like that an the worker wrote the 1800 lowes number down an told me i can complaint there my experence there today made me not want to ever step foot back at that place we have lowes accounts an all we buy off out lowes card an always pay back before time an this how i get treated.

Joe the fence salesman was a very nice guy, However, it took over 4 weeks for install and on the day they dropped it off i noticed the gates that were suppose to be 5 feet wide were small. The installer said they were the wrong size. They showed up with 4 feet gates but i could not wait with 2 dogs. Installer Chinappis said they could make an 8 foot gate out of the 2 4s and for 250. more dollars get me a 5 foot gate so i really had no choice. Lowe's told me they would make it right and that i would receive a call from corporate which still has not happened a week later.When it was done i checked it all later that day and they had completely forgotten to use fence ties to the poles on an entire side. my dogs would have only had to push and the fencing would lift right up. If i had to do again i would not use Lowe's but a professional fence company. The installer was a landscape and fence company but their work was shoty. How in the world do you forget fence ties. Also i should not have had to pay an extra 250. I do like having the 8 foot gate on 1 side and 5 ft on the other but the point is i was forced into that decision or wait another several weeks maybe. I did not feel like the fence company owner really cared.
