Rude employee

Hello Lowes,

I was attempting to make a purchase of a pink master lock key chain and as I was attempting to pay for it the system wasnt responding to my credit card as it continued to ask for a pin # I did indeed press the green circle button for enter to by pass the pin # request however it still asked me for a pin. As I awaited for the employee to finish with her customer I asked her politely if she could assist me in helping with this transaction.

I explained to her what was happening and she stated to me Im a very ignorant manner well did you press the green button. Like I was a kid or something I was rather appalled by her response I retorted back yes I did this is why Im asking you. She then turned her back and took the next cx so very rude and disrespectful to say the least. People like this should not be working in cx service.

Unfortunately I did not get her name however this happened Newnan, GA at the self checkout at approximately 1:43p. Unbelievable behavior and very unacceptable!

Preferred solution: I would want for this situation to be handled accordingly. Hold the employee accountable. This employee faces cx’s in which she is representing the Lowe’s brand this is apart of her job to engage with cx ‘s and be a helping hand when applicable.

"asked her politely" Sure you did. People who say things like this or "I just asked a simple question" are usually the worst customers around.

Combined dropping buzzwords you learned in a certificate course(CX), I'm guessing you're a customer experience "superstar" gone wild. It's not hard to guess your demographic. It wasn't what she said to you, in your weak mind, it was "how she said it." She made you "feel" some kind of way huh?

What did you want her to do, fool around with you and your attitude or go and help others? C'mon...Admit it loser...

They aren't a storage facility. Either arrange to have someone pick up your purchase or have it delivered.

Recurring charge on my bank account

For several months now i have had a charge of $22.28 appear on my checking acct. It pops up 2-3 times a month and disappears a few days later. My bank says it appears to be a hold placed on my account. The money doesnt seem to actually be withdrawn from my account, but it does keep me from using those funds temporarily without over drafting.

One of your store managers accuse me of stealing something that I have never done in my life over a four dollar tape measure

A store manager there wanted to take his anger out on me, so he accused me of stealing a four dollar tape measure I have never been in trouble in my life I had a tape measure hooked on my side still in the packaging that I was using to measure some brackets and I just left another Lowes worker, and he has seen it the whole time, so he accused me of stealing this he embarrassed me in front of a lot of people and then while he was doing that he called a deputy to come in and told her Deputy to handcuff me and take me to jail now I know the laws the tape measure on my side was still in the store I never come close to walking out the door therefore there was nothing stolen I have already contacted my lawyer and there will be a lawsuit

They did not handcuff you because they were asked to. They took workers statement and assessed the situation.

Recurring problem with a product already replaced twice

I purchased an outdoor Bar w/sink made by MasterForge roughly about 5or 6 years ago

Since then I have had to replace the faucet several times. The last replacement was just last season and each time I call the warranty Dept.

They are no help in trying to fix it.

When I called several days ago I was told that since I bought this new less than a year ago I could get it replaced and to contact the repairs Dept.via email. I did that and they keep saying I cant replace the part as the whole unit was bought more than 5 years ago.

I dont think it is fair as I did buy this one part less than a year ago and in addition it is really unfair to have a customer have to replace a part so many times because you are selling such an inferior product.

Is there anything you can do to resolve this? The part cost around $200 so it is quite expensive to do yet again.

User's recommendation: Beware of the very limited customer service on these larger items. Even though I replaced a broken faucet on this bar unit and it was less than a year old Lowe’s refused to replaced the part. In addition this part has broken three times within a four year period each time costing me $200. I could have bought a whole new unit for the amount I invested.

Was on the phone for 30 min on different store numbers and no one ever answered. A few times you could hear someone picking up the phone and putting it on hold without speaking.

Getting through either through Customer Service or Specialty Departments without luck! Over and hour total (calling different stores) same situation! Will not buy there ever again!

Dead plants

NEVER heard from anyone!! Bought for Mothers Day. Didnt even make it a week!! Had receipt and they still wouldnt exchange it. Guarantee said Plants. She said only shrubs and trees but nowhere did it state that in the posted guarantee. It was embarrassing for Mothers Day. That was the day I went back to the store. 5 days after I bought it!!

Why would you purchase a mower like this from Lowes rather than a John Deere dealer? My guess is that you didn't pay any less than a dealer would charge and the dealer may have even delivered it free.

Who do you think will provide better service should the mower need it? Big box stores aren't always the best places to make purchases like this.
