Second time in a month. First time was the aggressive worker in power tools. He was already mad because he had to come help me. Then he told me he would go find me one of those dewalt cordless power tool kits they had on sale, because their computer shows they have 4 left. Another customer asked him something and so he started helping that guy. I waited patiently, after he was done helping the other guy, he just ignores me, so i ask him again and he sighs and then raised his voice and said look man, if its not out here then we are out. I said you told me you were gonna go look for it. Then he says are we gonna have a problem here, repeats it 3 times. So i started looking for other workers, then he says we're not gonna have a problem and goes look for it. As i was asking for help from another customer, he brings over the tool kit and says to her, i got this, i was helping him. Tells me he will bring it up front for me because he cant risk it being stolen. How offensive. Couple weeks later i buy a space electric heater, was'nt powerful enough so i returned it two weeks later. When i got there the girl working there looked busy working on something, their were no customers. So i waited her coworker tells her to help me first, i could see she was already annoyed i was there. She looks at me for a moment, then says are you returning or exchanging. I told her i just needed to refund it. I put it on the counter first thing she does is smell it. Then she wispers something to her coworker. She looks at the receipt and says to me i will do it this time but next time if it smells like marujuana again i cant refund it for you. What? Marujuana, how could it smell like marujuana i dont smoke it, i dont touch it, i dont grow it. Then she says well it smells weird. I said weird dont mean marijuana. These lowes employees are such ***. I will never shop at that one again.

Lowes in San Diego, California - Will not accept returns with credit card purchase

All my returns have 'always" been with a credit card and no receipt. They recently changed their policy to receipts only. no WARNING!!!! They said I should have had a 'my Lowes ' account. WHAT...never heard of this. I'M PISSED!!!!!! I will have to take my $125.00 loss. I called Lowes Corporation about this. After 30 min. on the phone...they cannot find a record of my receipts since the company recently changed there policy. I have wasted 3.5 hrs today including some drive time and phone calls. I will never never ever enter a Lowes store again!!!..and glad to tell others about this failing store. Just look at their financials and massive layoffs. Home Depot is eating them alive.

Lowes in Irvine, California - Incompetent and utter lack of service

Store clerk screwed up delivery of our fridge. I took 2 hours off work for delivery, spent countless time calling delivery people when it was an hour past the 2 hour delivery window then finally found out they had the wrong address. After offering to deliver the next day, which I cannot do, I called the store to have them refund my $$. They can't do that until the delivery gets back to their store - so they asked ME where the delivery truck is!!!!??? Are you kidding me? Not a single apology, sorry you had this experience, nothing. Will never do business again with kiwes. Ever. Never.

I bet that if you had bothered to look at the delivery paperwork when you made the purchase you could have corrected the address at that point. People are just in too much of a rush to take the time to make sure the correct information is on a sale order when they make a purchase. If everyone would just pause and look over their purchase agreements many of the problems you see on complaint sites would be avoided.

Lowes took $40,000 to remodel my kitchen.We were given a arrogant incompetent contractor who promises the moon but gave us a kitchen with a few craters. Our kitchen floor is now tiled and rougher then Pork Chop Hill. To top it off they never even finished...they just stopped ...plus they won't answer are calls( oh Nick out right now...he will call you)....NOT!

Purchased 2 custom window blinds very expensive yet cheap blinds. The blinds pull down and up get stuck all the time the contracted company came out said they are fine after the tech made an adjustment. 3 weeks later same problem. When you call the store to set up a return visit the staff In the The store are rude and then you call the company after they came out and said I guess we will replace them their staff is more rude if that is even possible. Now after a year of this same issue Lowes gets to say your over your year warranty, but we can charge you another $99 and they will come out. No thank you I will go to another store less money with better customer service and probably better products. Such a waste of money and they really don't care.

Lowes in Long Beach, California - Worst Customer Service Ever

I recently purchased several special order items from Lowes. I had a problem with the shower doors during installation and tried to call the store to resolve it. NO ONE would answer any of the store phones, not even the so called "operator". I had to call the corporate number to actually talk to someone. Although the person at corporate was professional and tried to be helpful, I think at least someone at the store should answer their phones. This is not the first time this has happened. A few months ago I bought some window coverings at another Lowes store location. When I tried to call someone at the store to check on my delivery status, no one would answer the phone. I just tried to contact the customer complaint department at Lowes to let them know why I will no longer be shopping at Lowes. The on line form would not go through, and when I tried to call the customer care number for feed back on store experience, it transferred me to a canned computer survey. It would not connect me to a live representative. This is why I will no longer shop at Lowes for anything again. They are not interested in your input, in customer service, only in your money. This has got to be the worst customer service experience I've had so far.

Poor communication and shoddy products from Lowes

We had laminate flooring put down throughout our house 2 years ago and the nightmare still continues. For 1.5 years they came out monthly to re-glue the floors because the boards shifted and left big gaps. Then we agreed to pay more to get tile put down in the whole house. A few months ago we noticed the grout coming out. The installer showed up the morning to remove the old grout and replace it but can do nothing because stuff needs to be packed up and moved. We told Lowes that we were not moving everything this time, we have been very accommodating and moved everything both previous times. So the installer can only do one room today. Lowes has refused to take responsibility for their shoddy materials. The lack of communication is appalling. Save yourselves much heartache and do not use Lowes for any home improvement projects. They discontinued selling the grout because of all the problems they have had but refuse to take responsibility.

What did you expect when you shopped at a "DISCOUNT SELF SERVICE home improvement" store? That's what they are, and always will be.

That's how and why they put all the small flooring companies out of business. But so sorry, too late to save them now!

paid for washer 7/5, being trying to find out delivery info (time window) since 7/6. Can't get a straight answer from anyone including management. its supposed to be delivered 7/8 according to thier computer but dont know time. Never rec'd call i was supposed to get. when i called to press for info finally got asst store mgr who fessed up and said its hasnt even left for delivery and is not on the truck for today. But it might come. ARE you fricking serious im supposed to wait all day at home in hopes my washer which lowes has my $500 cash already might come today. LOWES stole my money....... i have no product or any idea when i MIGHT get product........ i have emailed corp 4 times no repsonse. i have called store numerous times and gone there 2x. I will now be going paid again to get my washer, wont leave till i know i'm following it to my house, witch btw is 2.5 miles up the road from their store. they will also pay me a days wages as they are wasting my time. Its delievering a WASHER im not asking them to create world peace. its a fricking washer HELLO doesnt get any easier people NEVER AGAIN...

maybe you should ask questions before you assume. you know that saying im sure. let me enlighten you.

i put $750 yes, i paid $500 for washer and they wasted my day telling it MIGHT come today. Meaning i had to stay home all day in hopes if would show up, as of now it hasnt'.

$250 is my daily wage. Time is $$$.. Lowes owes me my daily wage. get it now.

as far as what i wanted, i set up the delivery on 7/5 for saturday yet rec'd no call with time window. Last nite in there computer it showed it was to be delivered saturday 7/8. this morning it showed it was not to be delivered. ALL i wanted was clear answers as to when (what day, what window) i would be receiving the product I paid for.

making sense to you now.....

So basically you assumed and you were wrong. I did not expect to leave store wanting it to be on a truck headed to my house. I simply wanted answers. btw Lowes has already agreed they messed up and their trying to 1) figure out what happened 2) figure out when they can get it to me.

Im hoping by tomorrow to have an answer.

SEE ask questions and dont hide behind Anonymous.... Have a great day and thanks for your input :)

Take time to read your post. By not waiting till you are in a rational state of mind to make a post it looses value.

No where do you say you had to take a day off work without pay for the delivery. You clearly state "wont leave till i know i'm following it to my house...".

Nothing to hide behind, just reading what you put in your post. My guess is if you communicated with the store and in e-mails to corporate in the same manner as your post part of the problem may be working with someone in a worked up emotional state rather than someone trying to communicate with a level head.

Your complaint clearly shows you aren't playing with a full deck. You paid $500 for the machine and are claiming a monetary loss of $750.00?

Today is 7/8, the day the washer is supposed to be delivered and you have e-mailed corporate 4 times??? Do you really think the people at corporate are there to answer your e-mails on a weekend? Your messed up sentence has me thinking you are headed to the store and aren't leaving till the washer is on a truck headed to your house.

Guess what...they load trucks with multiple deliveries and the trucks are gone for hours at a time. You may have a long wait.

Hubby just returned from Lowes and Conrad the manager that walked away was waiting for him at the door. Jerry came home with 2 new shelves and the water filter.....Hopefully the 5 day ordeal is done.

Well as expected GJ Transport Solutions a independent delivery service arrived early but we were ready. They had the old one out of the house and new one installed in less than 30 minutes.

Thanks Jesus. But as soon as we started looking the water filter was missing and one of the door units was broken...OH MY GOD...so off to Lowes again to talk to Dwayne one of the managers/sales person to get these new issues resolved.

Husband went back to the Lowes store later in the day and the delivery service told them we refused the unit because it was "used". When in fact they told us the unit was damaged.

The ground plug prong had been cut off by someone. That is why it was not installed. The store did not have the refrigerator we had purchased and could not find another in the area. They kept trying to up sale another which would cost us additional $500 plus.

We finally settle on the same style French door but the color would not be the black we wanted. Something about a dark chrome, never heard of that. Hope it works. Not going to pay one more penny at this point.

Well today is Mothers day and all plans have been cancelled due to a call saying delivery will be today between 12:00 noon and 2:00 PM.

We will have everything ready for them by 11:00 AM because we were told if it wasn't ready even if they arrive early they will not wait the 20 minutes for us to get things ready and just leave saying they will be back later maybe. Will let you know what happens.

Well what a ordeal dealing with Lowes in Pittsburg. Bought a refrigerator on Weds. We needed it right away and to bring it home when we purchased it since ours had quit working completely (compressor) Got a great deal. But that was when all the good vibes stopped. The guys that loaded it slide the back of the frig. into the back of the truck and ripped a water line on the back but we didn't discover it till we got it home and got the water hooked up and water went every where. Called Lowes and got a huge run around about how we had purchased an open box frig and that it was sold as is....really???? But your loaders are the ones that damaged it in the first place and the appliance didn't say AS IS and no one mentioned AS IS. The manager James we were talking to they don't have to inform us of that it's on the receipt. So I grab the receipt and guess what "there was no where on the receipt that said AS IS. Then he changed his tune. He said he'd go check and see if they had another frig like it and would have it delivered the next day. Called back they did and when the delivery company arrived they told us that the power cord was damaged and they would have to return it. I thought that was strange because the manager we spoke with said he had personal inspected the frig. and had tucked the power cord up in the unit. LAIR!!!!!! Lowes tried to reach the delivery company so they could return cause they were sure there was nothing wrong with the power cord. 4 hrs later they said they had not been able to contact them, so they would talk to them at 7:00am when they came to get today's deliveries. So Jerry goes down to Lowes this morning at 6:30am so he can be there when the frig. arrives and find out what happened. What is the next step will be. After several conversations with numerous rude Managers. Eugene, James and another one with no name tag. The truck at that point was over 3 hrs late. They were high pressuring Jerry to except another frig. of a different manufacturer that did not fit what we needed. Tried to sell him another refrig. at additional cost to us. One for those *** managers actually walked away when Jerry asked for a game plan if the refrig. on the truck was actually damaged (which at 10:00 was determined that the power cord had been cut and couldn't be delivered ) the manager just turned and walked away without answering him. By this time it was best for Jerry to leave or someone might get hurt, he was beyond pissed. So here we sit. Saturday morning with a defective frig. and hoping this will get resolved tomorrow because they said even if they could find a replacement frig. it could not be delivered till tomorrow. Don't want to impact delivery's scheduled for today . So.....will see what happens tomorrow. Have to cancel all plans we had for Mother's Day so we can be here for delivery since they will only give a 4 hr window for when they might get here. to be continued........

Why the intense need to buy a fridge from Lowe's after all the trouble they gave you? You should have just cancelled the purchase and gone elsewhere. That Lowe's location obviously doesn't care much about customer service.

If you're looking for higher end appliances or any for that matter look somewhere besides Lowe's they don't stand behind their products or warranties ... My stove has been in the house about two years and the self cleaner isn't working on the door ... their answer was it's a defective door .. and that is where it was left without ever telling me ... the enamel on the tray on the bottom of the stove is pealing already and that's cosmetic.. Samsung is just as *** about the situation . Lowes sends some idiots out from A-1 appliance who closes out the service within 2 days without ever saying anything and I don't find out for almost a month when I follow up.... And no one has any notes on the request ....

Actually Samsung claims their out of the picture after 1 year .. they sell a defective appliance and hope you don't catch it in time ...

They call the peeling inside the stove of the enamel cosmetic ..... Lowes handles the extended warranty and they are giving me the same ***... the door is defective and the enamel is cosmetic ...

it's like two years old... I did not agree to purchase defective ....

Your first mistake was in buying a Samsung. You are unclear what the status of the manufacturer's warranty is or whether you fell for the old "extended warranty" scam. If the original warranty has expired, then Lowe's is out of the picture and have nothing to do with the problem.

After spending over $9,000 on a new kitchen appliance package I am sad to report that the Lowes extended service plan is absolutely ridiculous. Buy your appliances and get an extended service plan at a store where they are actually going to FIX things and honor a replacement policy. 11 weeks ago our dishwasher started stopping mid cycle and an error code appeared. It could not be used. This is a "nice" dishwasher, allegedly. We called for service under our extended warranty. A week later comes the first guy and 11 weeks and 7 service visits later here we are. Not fixed, not replaced. Whats the problem you ask? Lowes requires that your appliance be repaired three time and that the repair fail three times before they will declare it a lemon. How can anything be declared a lemon if it can not be fixed even once? The warranty company cant figure out whats leaking and have guessed at what parts to order. Parts have arrived used, with hard water stains on them in the same location where the tech believes our dishwasher is leaking. The mysterious leak has shorted out other parts. Still no one can see where its leaking from even after my husband and I took turns laying on the floor during the cycle with a flash light taking pictures of anything that looked remotely wet. The service company keeps tickets open returning to the house more than once on the same call so in Lowes warranty system 7 trips to my house appears to be only 3. Seven half days off work, Seven tech appointments each at least an hour. Five parts ordered to the house. What does that cost? How much is a new Dishwasher? Ill be going to another store tomorrow to buy something new. I cant take the run around anymore. Then Ill spend 77 days on social media telling everyone who will listen about Lowes, their "extended service plan" and *** customer service. Thats one day for every day Ive been waiting for my dishwasher to be fixed. Small claims court here we come............. Enough is enough!
