Lowes in Huntington Beach, California - Deceptive coupons
I received a coupon from Lowe’s for $20 off if you spend over $100. I tried to order an item online for $170 but it would not take the coupon. I went to the store and the employees tried to use the coupon but they couldn’t use it either. They told me to order it online and I could pick it up at the store and pay for it and then I could use the coupon, but when I try to order it online it wouldn’t let me pick it up at the store. It was sent directly to my house. I took the receipt to the store and show them, several employees tried different ways to apply the $20 discount. Finally after many attempts one of the employees came back and said the coupon cannot be used for online orders. In large print it said “$20 off if you spend over $100.” In very fine print it said not used for online orders. I had to use a magnifying glass for the fine print. I could’ve gone to Home Depot and picked up the item that day but it was a little cheaper at Lowe’s in with a $20 discount I thought that would be a good deal. If Lowe’s carries an item that I can purchase someplace else for more money, I will buy it someplace else. If I can’t find an item someplace else or online then I’ll go to Lowe’s.

If you're looking for higher end appliances or any for that matter look somewhere besides Lowe's they don't stand behind their products or warranties ... My stove has been in the house about two years and the self cleaner isn't working on the door ... their answer was it's a defective door .. and that is where it was left without ever telling me ... the enamel on the tray on the bottom of the stove is pealing already and that's cosmetic.. Samsung is just as *** about the situation . Lowes sends some idiots out from A-1 appliance who closes out the service within 2 days without ever saying anything and I don't find out for almost a month when I follow up.... And no one has any notes on the request ....

Lowes in Huntington Beach, California - Bad Machine, Bad repair service, NO SHOW
The worst service contract ever, the worst repairmen working for Lowe's. had service call today. Finally got ahold of co said they will be here today.The guy called at 245 pm,and said lost how do i get to your place. 5 min away. Its 6:10 pm Not here. I am pissed. Plus had to rescheduled for Tuesday, clothes in washer wet. I am so mad. Didn't have balls to call and say still can't find you. J & M appliances. If they schedule call for them SAY NO. Now have to try another company..Also no pay to miss work
Lowes in Huntington Beach, California - Warranty Service
I recently purchased a pressurized toilet costing 528.65 bucks installed. I was told this was one of the best. After about 6 months, the toilet base cracked and fractured completely around its base making it completely unusable. I took the supposedly one year warranty with pictures of the broken toilet base to Lowes where I purchased this toilet. The service Rep??? said they would have the plumbing contractor call me for a scheduled time for examination of the toilet to determine what was the cause. (To many Hippos on the toilet??etc.) It was finally determined by the experts? that the toilet was defective. This toilet replacement was to be installed the following Monday between 8a and 12p. I was not back at home till around 9:30 A that day. A message on my answering machine was left for me for re-schedule in two days. I called back and said that was not acceptable, and they said that the plumbing contractor was booked up and could not reinstall the toilet for two more days. I asked the contractor(plumbing service) how much time they spent at my door waiting?? Obviously, they went right on to their next job without a "sorry we missed you and will come back later to install". They were not located across town and only 10 min away from my address and had the replacement toilet on their truck!! The main problem with service nowadays is the fact you have to deal with to many specialists?? and you have your phone strapped to you like a papoos! Today we are just a number with large these impersonal corporate stores. Personally, I'm willing to go back to the few mom and pop stores that offer consideration and personal service even if the cost is a little higher.(Surprise, the cost is even less!) sincerely, Eugene F.
