We tried to schedule delivery for 3 days in the roll. my husband confirmed Sunday delivery between 12 -4. they called this morning to want to deliver between 10-2 but they came outside our house at 3 pm and knocked on the door without ringing door bell and they took a picture of our house and left. At 3:15 pm, the manager Jose or whosever could have told them to come back and at 3:40 pm. They said sorry they are done. I am surprised how communication was done. They could have called us at 3 pm. They could have rung the doorbell at 3:00 pm when outside. They only said. We knocked and no one answered. It was raining and we have been expecting someone to ring on doorbell since 12:00 pm. I am very disappointed with the Lowes customer system. I understand it is Sunday, but the whole communication was off. At the critical moment, they could have reached out but they did not even try to call because it is raining outside. We have our kitchen light on and we have been home all the time. I don't believe they said they waited 15 min outside while not ringing our door bell or they could have called us but they did not. Even when we asked them to return. They said they are done for the day???? They don't really act on customer-centric problem resolution process. I got so disappointed at your brand Lowes. I thought you guys are smarter than that. It took me 30 mins to finally reach the manager. By then, the shipment guy are gone. I will return this fridge and I also will make sure all the media heard about my experience.

Finally the 6th attempt, this morning after 9:00 am, two people came and moved the refrigerator to the second floor where our kitchen is. They could have done that the first time instead of having us wait so many times and for so long.

We have never seen 4 people crew after all.

They parked their truck in the back and blocked my drive way. They should have parked in the front of the townhouse.

I am hourly rated contractor work at client office and each time I had to take time off to wait for the delivery. I wasted 10 hours (each time is 2 hour window) to be at home in order to receive the delivery.

We bought LG refrigerator including free delivery and setup from Lowes Sunnyvale store. After 7 days, the refrigerator was delivered to our door. However, the two delivery people said they could not take this to the kitchen which is on the second floor. We were told they need 4 people crew to move the refrigerator to upstairs. Then I called Lowes Delivery department to reschedule. 2nd time, no one showed up, 3rd time, still the same two people came, could not do the move. The 4th time, Lowes still sent two people. I called Lowes and asked to speak to the supervisor, her name was something like Kourtney. She apologized and promised additional 20% discount on the refrigerator and told us next day (Sunday) or the latest following Monday to send 4 people crew. Again the 5th time, we waited till 9:15 AM this morning, no one showed up. Therefore, I called Lowes delivery department and was told we were not on their Monday schedule. Again I asked to speak to the supervisor, this time it was Sovia (or Sophia). She told me she had schedule for tomorrow (Tuesday) delivery and for sure they would send 4 people. Let's wait and see if tomorrow we will see 4 people crew from Lowes delivery department. I seriously doubt about it after so many time promises and failed every time. The delivery person even told me that I could pay someone else to do the move. Why? I paid Lowes for the delivery.

They take your money but fail to deliver. Literally. Two failed attempts. Lousy communication. No one can coordinate. You spend 3K you expect at least adequate service. Got a full refund and going to sears.

Lowes in Cotati, California - Uninformed delivery folks as it was contracted out to another company

I ordered a refrigerator which took weeks to be delivered. Folks that delivered would not install with current water set-up (note that current set-up worked for the last refrigerator also purchased from Lowe's). Delivery company required a shut-off valve. I hired a plumber and had a shut-off value installed. Set new appointment. Times were constantly changed so that basically I sat home all day until a phone call at 5:30 - the end of the latest "delivery" window. Install guy indicated he couldn't come as they were in a big truck and there was a note on my order that said small truck. I assured him double tractor trails make it down our road and he said they would come over. They did not show or call. 2 days later I receive another recording indicating a new set of delivery guys would show up that day. When they arrived, they were surprised to know that they had to install a frig and not just drop off the water lines. I found that once Lowe's "sells" you, they no longer care what the service folks do from that point on. Poor customer service and unclear communication between sales and delivery. Won't buy from them again.

Placed an order online for a refrigerator, got a call that night confirming delivery for the next day. Great. Delivery guy calls me the next morning and says, "I'll be there in 10 minutes". Great. 1 hour later. Nothing. 2 hours later. Still nothing. I call the driver. "Oh, I couldn't find your unit. I can't deliver it today. You'll get it tomorrow." The next day. Not a word from the driver or Lowe's. I call Delivery department but nobody picked up for 30 minutes. Can't reach the driver either. I call corporate and they apologize and tell me that the local store will contact me within 24 hours for an explanation. The next day (2 days post initial delivery date) I call local Lowe's. "Oh, it says it has been delivered." Delivery guy blatantly lied. I speak to a manager. "I don't know what happened but I'll try to get you your fridge tomorrow" It's been 3 days since I was supposed to get my refrigerator. Most of my produce has spoiled. Save yourself the nightmare and purchase elsewhere. It will prevent any headaches.

Lowes has me very upset!! I have bn waiting for my refrigerator to be delivered as promised for abt a week now. I called and talked to asst. Manager who did not seem to care! He did however get someone to my house with a damaged refrigerator. He promised me in a couple days I wd get a new frige. No one showed as promised we called bk and he wd not talk to us. I had to talk to new person and explain all over again wt was happening. Finally at 8:30 in eve. Frige came. We shall see how it looks. My husband is with delivery ppl now. Wish me luck!

Store clerk screwed up delivery of our fridge. I took 2 hours off work for delivery, spent countless time calling delivery people when it was an hour past the 2 hour delivery window then finally found out they had the wrong address. After offering to deliver the next day, which I cannot do, I called the store to have them refund my $$. They can't do that until the delivery gets back to their store - so they asked ME where the delivery truck is!!!!??? Are you kidding me? Not a single apology, sorry you had this experience, nothing. Will never do business again with kiwes. Ever. Never.

I bet that if you had bothered to look at the delivery paperwork when you made the purchase you could have corrected the address at that point. People are just in too much of a rush to take the time to make sure the correct information is on a sale order when they make a purchase. If everyone would just pause and look over their purchase agreements many of the problems you see on complaint sites would be avoided.

Lowes took $40,000 to remodel my kitchen.We were given a arrogant incompetent contractor who promises the moon but gave us a kitchen with a few craters. Our kitchen floor is now tiled and rougher then Pork Chop Hill. To top it off they never even finished...they just stopped ...plus they won't answer are calls( oh Nick out right now...he will call you)....NOT!

paid for washer 7/5, being trying to find out delivery info (time window) since 7/6. Can't get a straight answer from anyone including management. its supposed to be delivered 7/8 according to thier computer but dont know time. Never rec'd call i was supposed to get. when i called to press for info finally got asst store mgr who fessed up and said its hasnt even left for delivery and is not on the truck for today. But it might come. ARE you fricking serious im supposed to wait all day at home in hopes my washer which lowes has my $500 cash already might come today. LOWES stole my money....... i have no product or any idea when i MIGHT get product........ i have emailed corp 4 times no repsonse. i have called store numerous times and gone there 2x. I will now be going paid again to get my washer, wont leave till i know i'm following it to my house, witch btw is 2.5 miles up the road from their store. they will also pay me a days wages as they are wasting my time. Its delievering a WASHER im not asking them to create world peace. its a fricking washer HELLO doesnt get any easier people NEVER AGAIN...

maybe you should ask questions before you assume. you know that saying im sure. let me enlighten you.

i put $750 yes, i paid $500 for washer and they wasted my day telling it MIGHT come today. Meaning i had to stay home all day in hopes if would show up, as of now it hasnt'.

$250 is my daily wage. Time is $$$.. Lowes owes me my daily wage. get it now.

as far as what i wanted, i set up the delivery on 7/5 for saturday yet rec'd no call with time window. Last nite in there computer it showed it was to be delivered saturday 7/8. this morning it showed it was not to be delivered. ALL i wanted was clear answers as to when (what day, what window) i would be receiving the product I paid for.

making sense to you now.....

So basically you assumed and you were wrong. I did not expect to leave store wanting it to be on a truck headed to my house. I simply wanted answers. btw Lowes has already agreed they messed up and their trying to 1) figure out what happened 2) figure out when they can get it to me.

Im hoping by tomorrow to have an answer.

Take time to read your post. By not waiting till you are in a rational state of mind to make a post it looses value.

No where do you say you had to take a day off work without pay for the delivery. You clearly state "wont leave till i know i'm following it to my house...".

Nothing to hide behind, just reading what you put in your post. My guess is if you communicated with the store and in e-mails to corporate in the same manner as your post part of the problem may be working with someone in a worked up emotional state rather than someone trying to communicate with a level head.

Your complaint clearly shows you aren't playing with a full deck. You paid $500 for the machine and are claiming a monetary loss of $750.00?

Today is 7/8, the day the washer is supposed to be delivered and you have e-mailed corporate 4 times??? Do you really think the people at corporate are there to answer your e-mails on a weekend? Your messed up sentence has me thinking you are headed to the store and aren't leaving till the washer is on a truck headed to your house.

Guess what...they load trucks with multiple deliveries and the trucks are gone for hours at a time. You may have a long wait.

Lowes delivery service is a joke! Never on schedule, poor communication and poor service! Think it over before you purchase from Lowes! The store employees are great but delivery service is th worst I've experienced in my 45 years of life! You have been warned! Why would you want to waist your day waiting for your appliances to arrive and not have them arrive at all? Then to have the delivery service XPO give you excuse after excuse on what went wrong?

Helloo A very upset customer. Treated very badly as a customer who just spent close to 3000.00 on appliances and went back to the store today after delivery Of appliances which were delivered today. As recommendation of delivery employees regarding gas dryer. Two different suggestions.. Today i have no working gas dryer. Thanks lowes. I will not at this time refer your company to anyone... I was disappointed with the way customer service is. If i would have known how lowes treats there customers i would have took my buisness elsewhere. Really was shook up today caught me by surprise i put lowes on a pedistal better than other hardware stores i was wrong. Feel so insecure on my purchase. Ready to pull out of my purchase and go elsewhere. Treated and talked to very badly...im so upset at this time. And employees notice me in the store and also indicated that the individual helping me was at wrong and suggested to,me to contact an upper official regarding the this issue. I will take it up with a higher individual regarding this issue.. sorry im a woman. And not a ding bat. And not a uneducated individual. To conclude my story i believe that this so called supervisor who attended me, Obviously has no education nor experience with customers...and should not be working with customers. If lowes wants to continue to strive to be courteous and helpful to customers so we will always return to purchase merchandise and feel secure about there purchase...
