the sad part is that they really don't care! They have hundreds of other customers to take your place! As long as people flock to these box stores to get *** products and crappier service just to save a few $$$ (which you found out is bs as well) things won't get any better!

Refused to price match Amazon for a Dremel Kit. The Kit is 13.95 on Amazon from the official Dremel seller yet Lowe's wants 20.95 for the exact same thing. Home Depot has price matched Amazon for me before. Most of there stuff is overpriced, so this is just another reason to spend my money elsewhere.

on 5/6/2018 took off from work to buy the appliance. They said delivery date would be 5/28/2019. Then they said it would be 6/4/2019. Then they said it would be 6/10/2019. I contacted Linda in Corporate she suggested another mode. We agreed .She stated they had 21 in the warehouse and stated delivery would be around the 21st. I called cancelled my order on the first model. Larry in cabinetry refunded my original purchase through my lowes card. He then transferred me to the cashier who said your purchase had been declined because of the first purchase was still in the system and it would take 3 to 5 days to clear out. I called the lowes card center and they pretty much said "{{Redacted}} " there is nothing we can do sorry ,you will have to wait . I have been a Lowes customer for over 30 years . I have purchased 9 major appliances and this is the treatment I get. I am going to Home depot and buy a fridge. I will never purchase another thing from Lowes , service is 0, response -0,attitude constant apathy every level SHOP ANYWHERE ELSE

If you need an appliance in a timely manner NEVER purchase one that is not in stock at the store. If you order an appliance they normally arrive within a week from the manufacturer.

The problems start when the manufacturer is out of stock in their warehouse. The store won't know it till the truck from the manufacturer shows up with a packing ticket showing the appliance is backordered. All they get from the manufacturer is that it will ship on next weeks truck if it's in stock by then. It may come next week or it may take a couple of months if it's coming on a boat from Korea.

The sad fact is that the manufacturers don't support the stores with the information they need to keep the customer informed.

The store made the error in processing your refund and sale as 2 separate transactions. They should have processed the refund and the sale as one transaction to avoid the credit problem as it always takes a few days for a refund to actually post to your account.

I meant to say we purchased appliances at the store. I called the installer company and was told sometimes they have issues and they get behind, sorry we didn't notify you.

I guess they have no policy about doing the right thing. That is the company lowes has chosen to represent them. That is great and all but the customers are the ones who pay. Who is going to make up the extra time I had to sit at home for this BS?

What is the impact to the installer company?

What is the impact to the customer experience and lowes….you get what you pay for. I'm never going back.

Ordered some kitchen appliances online. Over the range microwave was installed about 1 week later, but was defective, the fan for the over the range part did not work. Neither me nor the installer thought to test that. Now we are doing it again and I got a call for a 2 hour window. At the end of the 2 hour window I got a call saying it would be another hour. The call from the installer also comes from an out of state number. You cannot call the installer company, I called lowes several times today and eventually was told a manager will be calling be back. I'm not holding my breath. Another thing, after the first time the microwave was installed I got a call from lowes asking how it went. I did not get such a call on the second install, maybe the manager is going to do it? Who pays for the customer's time to sit around and wait for the installers? Answer: the customer who already paid money for the install.

Let's see what type of person you are. If you were the first installation scheduled for the day and the installer arrived on time I assume you would be happy.

Unfortunately there were some problems with the installation and it was taking the installer longer than anticipated to get your microwave installed. Would you expect the installer to stay and finish your installation or would you insist they leave and reschedule the completion on another day so they could get to their next installation on time?

For some reason I expect you would want them to stay and wouldn't care if the rest of the installations that day ran late. In the real world every thing doesn't go exactly as planned and the best of plans can run late.

Lowes review in Colorado Springs, Colorado: I am stuck with a defective water heater

I bought an AP Smith water heater ftom lowes. It immediately gave off a bad smell from city water which was determined to be bacteria. I followed all of the manufacturers recommendations, none killed the bacteria. Lowes says Zi am stuck with it they have limited options. I don't. I am going to Home Depot or Menards, never to return to Lowes!!

My question is where the bacteria is coming from? It it continuing to come in through your city water system?

If so a different water heater won't change things. My guess is that you don't have your water heater set at a temperature high enough to kill the bacteria in the city water.

If set too low it can even be an environment for the bacteria to thrive. If the problem is that the heater won't heat the water enough that should be what you are complaining about and a temperature problem should be covered under warranty.

I ordered 6 bottles of Liquid Plumer Urgent Clear. This stuff really works to unclog drains. I stopped on the way to work to pick up my order. They pulled the wrong product. There is regular strength Urgent Clear and Industrial strength Urgent Clear. It is written right on the front of the bottle. I ordered the regular strength. All they had to do is read the label. I realize mistakes happen. It was a waste of time going into the store. Apparently, no one double checks the orders to ensure the right product is picked for the customer. Now I need to reorder and make another trip into the store. This product is not available for shipping.

How much time are you wasting ordering products on line? As long as you were going to the store it seems like it would have been quicker to run into the store, grab the product you wanted and headed through the registers.

Instead you looked through the web site to find what you wanted and placed the order. Then you went to the store and waited while they got the order they had pulled which probably took as long as it would have for you to get it off the shelf.

You neglected to look at it and now have to re-order. Save some time and don't order products on line that you plan on picking up at the store if it is stocked at the store.

This company is unorganized and cannot process orders online. They are always out of stock so the items get cancelled and then you have to try and reorder. They are just a *** company. Complete lack of leadership in the stores and never even close to enough employees. If an item is out of stock the employees are not able to look up and see if more are ordered, or, better yet, order one for me. What? is it really 2018 and there computer system doesn't tell the employee what is coming to the store? I have walked through an entire store and not seen one employee until I get to the front Customer Service counter where there are five employees all standing around talking. I hope they go out of business so another company can buy them up and at least do a mediocre job. They are just absolutely incompetent.

Why would they put the time, money, and effort into the things you are complaining about when for every person who is dissatisfied will be replaced by twenty other customers? As long as people flock to them to buy stuff cheap, why would they spend the money to correct these issues?

It makes no business sense at all to them. That's what happens when there is little competition and low prices are the only way they can attract business.

Product quality and service go down because the only other place you can go is just as bad or worse. It's a race to the bottom and it's been going on for 40 years.

Every interaction I have with this store results in something getting screwed up or lost. Very unorganized, unprofessional, and inept customer service. My last order for truck delivery has still not been delivered and everyone says they'll look into it and they never call back. First guy I spoke with said it was supposed to be delivered three days ago... $2200 lumber and decking purchase that no one seems to know anything about... Overall very frustrating and I'll be placing my lumber and building supplies purchases at another store. Consider yourself warned and DO NOT order anything through this store... I don't have any further words to describe how much I despise this store.
