I just had a bad experience with corporate. I wanted an item on special and was told they were out of stock at my store.
They said it was not in their normal inventory so I said I wanted one shipped in to honor their special still in effect. They said there weren't any more. Called corporate and they said it was a clearance item. Nothing in the store said it was clearance.
Besides which, since when do you put an ending date on a sale if it is "clearance". I think the corporate "supervisor" flat out lied. So much for their "customer service".
No wonder they are cutting people. They don't care about customers any more which is why they don't have the business to keep people employed.

Preferred solution: Substitute the 36" at the same price and eat the loss..
