I was shopping for a gas range/oven that had a self-cleaning feature. I was told by the sales person at Lowes that the Whirlpool Aqua clean self-cleaning oven was new technology and cleaned as well as a conventional self-cleaning oven only faster.

This simply is not true. There are spots left after each self clean and to use anything other than what is recommended by the manufacturer voids the warranty. Not that the warranty is worth the paper it is written on.

After dealing with Whirlpool, I found that Lowes was even less helpful. They did not even work with me to find a time a service person could come out to look at the oven.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Monetary Loss: $953.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

I liked: Variety of products.

I didn't like: Customer service, False statements of salesman.
