I'm a conservative. Rush Limbaugh stupidly called a women a "***" on his show.

His remark has been vilified (justifiably) by nearly every commentator on television.

What bothers me is the lame-stream media's double-standard.

Last year liberal comedian Bill Maher called Sarah Palin the 'c' word (rhymes with "runt") on his show, in addition to mocking her Down Syndrome son. Yet not one person in the maintsream media has ever mentioned it!

Lowes in West Palm Beach, Florida - Horrible customer service at Lowe's

Went to buy paint for exterior of my home... Had a girl that didn't want to move!!! literally wasn't moving. I was the only person there. Asked about colors she didn't know. Asked about prices.. she didn't know. Asked about sealers and primers for the house... Yep you guessed it she didn't know. Well you can only imagine I was PISSED. So I left thinking I'll just go to home depot.. On the way out I saw this 52" fan for 36... I said I can't pass that up. Went to find the fan on sale couldn't find it. Asked for help.. WAITED 15 minutes as another customer was waiting with me... he finally left. I got the fan after 20 minutes. I left steaming. My husband was in another area looking for something to clean the gutters the guy told him instead saying a specific place.. WHAT DO YOU NEED THAT FOR.??? How about none of your business.. I could go on but my fingers are getting tired.. Will call corporate.. don't think it will make a difference. Very dissatisfied customer..

joycie..first off lowes prices are clearly labeled under product ..if it was not priced she should have tried to help you find out the price..seeing how she didnt know much maybe she was new to the dept or store altogether..lowes associates are also responsible for MANY duties believe it or not they dont just walk around all day..they recieve customer phone calls all day with customers with many questions that a lot of times takes time to find their answer..stock the product you want there nice and neat,price it,help in-store customers,load vehicles,inventory,reset product..and many other things many times they are pulled in several directions or covering several departments at once cover lunches breaks or just lack of employees ...recognize this though when you call corporate it does not affect the upper management it affects the ones that are the pee-ons working theyre butts off for little money working ridiculous schedules trying to earn a living when they wont hire more people to save money but when you call in it affects their raises,their advancement opportunities and any bonus that could be available ..its easy to judge from your perspective when your the one waiting and it seems to be a long time but you need to think logically and think about their responsibilities and the fact if they did not see you how do they know you need help or if they did maybe they were helping another customer..dont complain unless you see an associate (that works in that dept) standing around doing absolutely nothing blatantly ignores you knowing you need assistance believe it or not people also get crabby when asked if they would like any help..

Run away from Lowes It is true they are the worse co. to do biz. with. All I can say at this point is I order carpet Nov 19,2011 and today is Jan.11,2013 and still no carpet . 1. Installed carpet layer was talking on his cell phone when doing the seem. 2. Had to replace arrived and they did not order right size. 3. I will write more later but people need to know not to buy at Lowes.They ( Mr. Brown Marketing Dir. For Lowes in Orlando Fl. call me and said after a COMEDY OF ERAS on there part they would like to install my carpet........More later Steve Orlando Fl.

LOWES SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Husband purchased a Samsung Front Loader Washer and Dryer as my Christmas gift on Black Friday. The washer was delivered on time as scheduled however, Lowes did not bother to call us and tell us the dryer had not come in yet. Ok, no problem, disappointed but Dept Manager said it would come in the week after. NOPE, now LOWES is saying sometime in January. Of course the charges have hit our credit card without a product to show for it. Come pick up the washer Lowes and refund our money. Bad business, not cool, you SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lowes is off our shopping list, never again. Dont mislead your Customers Lowes not cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lets put this in perspective. By policy and the ad once the stock is gone the sale is over.

So your store really helped you by allowing you to order the item at a cheap cheap price. So shut your pie hole you baby and tell your husband he is a real prince for buying you a washer and dryer for christmas.

Next year you will get a new steam cleaner and a hoover. Go stick your head in *** and thanks for never shopping lowes again...

No matter how big a retailer Lowe's is or will be, they do not have control over manufacturers and cannot magically force a manufacturer to deliver a product by a certain time, even if it's at the stake of a customer's satisfaction. So when they tell that an appliance might take more time to come in, what they really mean is -- it's going to take more time for it come in.

They can't speed up the process, no matter how hard they yell or ask Samsung.

Trust that they want your appliance to come in as much as you do, if only for you to stop giving them a hard time for something they cant control. :cry

It is now feb 16 2012 I too was to receive a washer and dryer for christmas and STILL have not seen it and they always tell me its smasungs fault well I DONT CARE whos fault it is should have told us up front but when I call they always say the mid of the next month not a good way to treat customers!!!!

Buy at Lowes and your fueling the Chinese economy. Almost everything they now sell is import junk from China.

Even if it's a little more, try going to an Ace Hardware, Best Hardware or any other local retailer that's more community based. Lowes is ALL ABOUT CHINA.

Our store has consistantly gone down in the Employee Opinion Survey with the number 1 issue being LOUSY Store Manager with a 99% poor rating. Finally corporate wanted to know why we rated it so low.

They sent in about six differnt people over a three day period to "confidentially" ask us why. The Result??? RETALIATION! Threatened jobs, forcing people that are dating to transfer to other stores.

not letting people working 4 hours take 15 minute breaks (violation of Federal law), changing schedules, cutting hours etc..AND the joke is that all of this is being enforced by the same Store manager we complained about. And he dates a vendor rep that is in the store all of the time.

If the job market returns I see a mass exit of Lowes employees. This store is equal to a circus being ran by the clowns.

Lowes needs to follow their own policies.

They need to read their policy that they have displayed to the public. Installation within 72 hours with instock merchandise...I had to wait a week. Then they *** the old power cord and reuse it after knowing we would be installing the dishwasher at a rent house... :( They only offer for us to return to the store and pick up a power cord. No one at the store told us we would not have it installed and no one told us that they would reuse a 10 year old power cord. If the power cord fails and our home catches on fire...I'll be calling an attorney.
