This is an update on my six month journey through *** with Lowe’s and Baker Roofing Company based out of Bonita Springs, Fl. Long story short. It took six months to get a new roof put on my house. The new roof was patched and repaired more than my 20 year old prior roof. I asked for a 25% refund from Lowe’s. Due to the fact that the roof was put on by a bunch of amateurs not professional roofers. I received the refund in a matter of days no questions asked. Guess they had a lot of complaints on Baker Roofing Company. I’m happy it’s over. I got my refund. Baker Roofing Company did the best they could to fix all the problems with the roof installation. Time will tell, how long it’s going to last.

Baker Roofing is a sorry *** company. Called about new roof leaking, wall and ceiling ruined.

No damn response yet.

Where to begin please dont lose interest because of such a horrendous experience from he'll! I will try to touch on the biggest mishaps.

No preinstallation review checklist or completion of certicate filled out, no labor or material warranties. Someone besides the sub-contractor signed his signature and other illegal contractual transaction. Roofed over graping holds, rotten decking, no ice & water shield, no state required drip edge, used existing flashing, etc. Etc.

Ended up with more leaks than i had before Lowe's install. Enclosing I now have mold because of install was 5-1-2018.

Bottom line if you want to make Lowe's accountable no matter what you have been told please contact me. Single no results only in numbers.

To Whom It May Concern: I was in your Lowes store #2261 on Saturday October 13, 2018 at 18:38 and had a conflict with one of your customer service Personnel on that date. I needed to have my credit card looked up which Elle did for me. She proceeded to ring up my items, a Grab bar, 3 small flashlights and a timer. Then she walked away from me. I needed a bag to exit the store. Elle when to ring up another customer, I stated I needed a bag, but it fell on deaf ears of both the personnel behind the Customer service counter. I stated it again but no one seemed to hear. I nugged the other counter personnel girl on her right arm, who was on the phone, for a bag. She stated sharply and loudly, “Don’t you touch me”. I stated I need a bag. She stated “don’t you lay your hands on me”. In amazement, and truly exhaustion, I stated forget the bag. She said “You got that”. As I was approaching the door, “I stated you don’t have to be a ***** to me, I just wanted a bag.” She called at me, “what did you say?” I repeated it to her, as she was very wrong to talk to a regular customer in that manner. “You don’t lay your hands on me”, as she was bobbing her head. I told her she didn’t have to get all Ghetto on me, she is working and needs to be aware of customers. “Your ghetto” she stated. I stated I can call the manager from my phone. I left the store. I called the store when I got to my car and left off my stuff in my car.. I went to the lumber check out and called the store on my phone. Finally a manager (a female) did answer the call and I asked for her to meet me in lumber, register 1. A man came down and was answering another customer’s questions and then he stated can I help you. I stated I was waiting for a manager and he stated he was one. I told him the event, as I am telling you. It is important to state that the whole time the person I had the conflict was on the phone with another customer, speaking to me in the manner that she did. The other phone customer had to hear her as she talked loudly, rudely and insubordinately to another customer. I am a regular customer, and actually that day I passed 2 Lowe’s and 2 Home Depot, as the Job I am working at is in Fort Myers, but I usually stop at the one close to my home, which is this store. In fact on Tuesday, I spent over $1000 for sinks, garbage disposals, and faucets. I will shortly be working on a entire kitchen renovation in the next couple of weeks. As well as a Garage renovation coming up at Thanksgiving. I make big purchases at least 4 to 6 times a month. I did not appreciate the girl’s response to a simple and non-malice nug, and I do not believe Lowe’s wants this to be the person that customers need to interact with. Not only was she rude and belligerent to me, but the customer on the phone was witness to the event as well. She was not aware of other customers in her area. even when I came up and was waiting to be checked out, as she was facing me. Elle had to move from her station to assist me. The girl in the Lumber check out immediately acknowledge me even tho I was just standing there. This was a very unpleasant interaction in your store, mostly due an employee who has no sense that she is there to help the customer, not to ignore, insult and berate the customer I would appreciate their response for this event.

Wilson Ellis out of Estero, Fl Baker Roofing Inc. Worst roofing job in my neighborhood. After the hurricane, we couldn’t get a local roofing company. Went through Lowe’s figuring they would vet the roofing company. 3 months later and we have a roof that was installed by amateurs at best. No way were these guys trained roofers. The roof leaked into five rooms causing more damage. Lowe’s won’t even return our phone calls. Baker roofing company’s warranty isn’t worth the paper it’s written on! Buyer be aware. Now we have to pay a real roofing company to come in and install another roof. Lowe’s and Wilson Ellis are not recommended. Stay far away.

The Lowe's in east naples is terrible to work with. Had to pay $3500.00 up front then they dropped the ball. Screwed up the permit application , had a contractor not show up. Lied about left over material and did not want to credit for fence they picked up. Lisa the project mgn. was rude , did not call and communicate the problems that were delaying the project. In all took 6 months to complete. Phone call after phone call did no good. Filled out survey for lowe's never heard a word. Not looking to get my money back just would like someone in the company to acknowledge the problem.

Lowes special installation department in Oakland Park, FL is the worse and has the most disorganized unprofessional, unprincipled people I have ever dealt with. I should have trusted my intuition and let Home Depot install my fence. Now I have to take my case to court to sue Lowes for faulty material and poor workmanship and in summation, a very foul installation, overpriced and theft of my purchased residual material from the installation.

I bought and paid in advance over $33,000 to replace my doors and windows at the end of July 2015. As of now (Jan 2016) I still don't have the project done. From measuring incorrectly, to sending damaged product the list of excuses continues. The guy who sold the project totally botched up everything. They offered me 18 mths interest free, but gave me 12. After numerous calls, they gave me the period I signed up for. The sales guy even promised I could use the new home owner 10% discount on the project, this also turned out to be false. They blamed the installer and their schedule but turned out it was Lowes that messed things up. Finally resorted to filing a complaint with Better Business Bureau.

Yeah, this is the interesting thing. In this industry, mistakes happen - but Lowes truly does not care and makes no attempt at customer service at all.

They put it right back on the consumer as if we did something wrong. It is ridiculous.

Lowes in Naples, Florida - Forgong my husbands signure to a repair warrenty order.

I brought a generator in because I was told that starter cable was under warranty and covered. When I picked it up I was charged for a new carburetor that I didn't authorize. The generator only had 1.1 hrs. on it . I also discovered that someone had signed my husband's name to the repair order. I have the original order with no signature on it. After a long process with the service dept. I managed get a reduction on the parts, but was told that I would have had to pay for the labor any how. So I put the 58+ dollars on my Lowe's credit card, of which I will be returning to you and will no longer use Lowe's, I will drive the extra 12 miles to Home Dept. Lowes in Naples, Florida - Refrigerator hook up

I bought a new refrigerator from Lowes and Expo came out the next day to deliver it. 3 men from expo went to hook up the ice maker without turning the water off first. Once disconnected water starting spraying all over my kitchen walls and flooding the floor. All the guy did was put his thumb on the connection, my wife had turn the water off for them. So while my wife is on her knees cleaning up water that they refused to clean, one of the men got under the sink where the connection was and somehow, God only know how, disconnected the hose from the connection. Well again water started pouring into the cabinet. Expo closed the cabinet doors and left it that way and didn't say anything to my wife about it, had her sign a form stating no leaks were found and then quickly left. My wife later found the cabinet filling with water therefore causing all kinds of issues, water pouring in behind the cabinets and baseboards and such. We called expo and they sent the guy back out who then hooked it back up and then accused her of having a bad faucet, which had nothing to do with the hose. Do these people think we are idiots or something. We then told him to get out of our house. We called the local store, the manager told us to deal with Expo and wouldn't help us. We have now contacted corporate and are waiting for a resolution.... Where do they find these *** my 15 year old knew to turn the water off first.

Contracted for Lowes in Naples to do our fencing. It is one year later and the fence is still not complete!

The fence is still not complete, even with all my attempts to work with management at Lowes, the subcontractor they hired- Coastal Deck and Fencing, and the contractor they hired for the permit- Peter Anthony Cafaro located in Orlando, FL. Inability to complete this project within a reasonable timeframe, finish it right according to customary industry practices. Numerous errors across the board from ordering the wrong color, lost replacement orders or ones never made, no communication or continued coordination within the parties involved, closing the file as complete, always short on parts, and quality of workmanship. Date Began: August 22, 2013 Purchased: September 2, 2013 Today's Date: August 20, 2014 Amount: $7,249.88; Lowes credit card Sales Reps Involved throughout Process (dates of phone/jobsite meeting notes to be submitted as requested): Tim- Store Manager; Anthony- Store Manager; Roger- Assistant Manager; Brian- store manager; HILMAN- District Manager; Blake - Project Specialist; Bruce- install sales; Randy- head of install office; Bill- install department; Monty- Pro Sales Department; Boydt of Coastal Deck & Fencing (installer) located around Cape Coral, FL; Peter Anthony Cafaro (Lowes Home Center- contractor- qualifier on the permit) located around Orlando, FL Installers leave trash, broken materials, mounds of dirt, 6 pallets and -- fencing to sit for months at a time end up splitting due to exposure to the elements and rain. No progress is made until I call to find out if the reorder of materials we’re waiting for have arrived, only to find out they have no clue or they will get back to me when they find out. I have listed the specific names of people involved above. No one ever gets back with me or knows what parts are ordered. At one point I called and was told they closed this work order that it was done- NO WAY!!! Lowes has lost replacement part orders, they have problems tracking correctly and they pass off responsibility to someone who knows nothing and each always promise they will stay on top of the situation- LIES. I always have to call back and it takes up to a half hour each time for them to figure out what is going on. The fencing installation consists of staples that do not penetrate through the wood because they are bent.

Custom Vanity nightmare - Lowes 6 Mile Cypress Fort Myers

We purchased a custom vanity and counter top for our bathroom. We included Lowe's installation in the purchase. The contracted company came out to measure and access and said install would be easy. We then learned that Lowes would not install the unit we ordered from them. We tried to get someone else to install but they ran the other way when they learned it came from Lowes. We then asked Lowes to honor their contract and get someone out to install the vanity that had already been delivered. After talking to the GM he said he would see if we could get the install to happen. After 3 phone calls to the GM he said they could not install. So we have an empty bathroom that does not function and Lowe's is taking back a 2K unit they will not be able to use. Does this make any sense. I am having 50 women here this weekend and they will all see and empty bathroom and know that it is Lowe's fault. No more Lowes for me.

Did they give you a reason for not installing it. Lowes wouldn't and can't just back out.

At my store, we bend over backwards even on things that are not our fault to resolve for the customer. There has to be a reason.
