I purchased this POS in 2012 and have had service calls on it 4 times. Every year, like clockwork, the unit goes into a an error cycle of attempting to run 3 times, stops and tries to restart, then shuts down and goes into error mode.

Eventually, it will try and reset itself, and does the same thing. We lose hot water, I call for replacement parts from the number on the tank and pay for a service tech to replace them. Then it works for a year and we start the cycle over. I'm never buying ANY appliances from Lowes again.

I'll go with contractor recommendations or the local heating and cooling company that does the repairs.

*** unit sold by Lowes. Shame on them.
