Lowes says it has a discount for veterans but when my wife to use her state issued VA card ( which is a emblem of a flag on her drivers license ) she was denied the discount. Lowes said it only takes VA issued cards. Funny most states, like Georgia now link the VA card with your DL so Lowes can say it offers a discount but doesn't have to hornor it.

Lowes review in Kennesaw, Georgia: 2nd bad service situation with Lowe' s Delivery

About this time last year, I had an awful experience with Lowe's and with their delivery company. My refrigerator was supposed to be delivered between 12 - 4 and they got there at 9:00 pm. They took my refrigerator out and set up my new one, which had a huge ding in the stainless steel. When I pointed it out to them they said it was not a problem, they would replace the door later. When finished with the installation, they did not go over much with me on what to expect with the ice maker, water, etc, they just wanted out of my home. After 4 hours, no ice, after 8 hours no ice. Spoke with my Lowe's store who said they would send me another refrigerator, which they did and everything ended up ok - after several days, no ice and water during the Thanksgiving weekend! But the Marietta Lowe's did step up to the plate and got everything taken care of after a week!! Enter situation # 2 with Lowe's. I sold a home with a new refrigerator from Lowe's in it (oh, no). The new refrigerator did not work. The delivery people did NOT EVEN SHOW UP for the first repair call, so we scheduled a 2nd one but they earliest they had was almost a week later. They were 2 hours late on the 2nd one, said it was a Freon leak which they could not fix, changed their mind and said they had to order a part which would take 2 weeks to get in. We contacted the manager of the CONYER's LOWE's, who was having a new refrigerator delivered on Sunday, September 18.They were calling on the night of the 17th to tell us when it would be delivered - NEVER HEARD FROM THEM AGAIN!! At 3:00 on the 18th, when we had not heard from Lowe's STILL, we found out they sold the one slated for our delivery and it would now be the 22nd before they could get us another one. Really, Lowe's? How horrible! There is a young Buyer in a home without a refrigerator at all and you expect him to wait 2 weeks to be able to have food and drinks in his house? Please SPREAD THE WORD that this company does not use reputable delivery people, they do not care about your inconvenience and you are not valuable to them in anyway except on the initial purchase! Once you have paid, you are DEAD TO THEM!!

Lowes review in Lilburn, Georgia: Raggedy washing machines

Went to lowes in Lilburn, ga and ordered a matag washing machine- on the spin and rinse cycle it shook real bad. Shaking so bad it shook the whole laundry room. Made lowes aware of this on the same day it was delivered and delivery guy came back out to see if it was leveled which he said it was. I was not going to put up with it shaking violently and went back to lowes to complain that something must be faulty with the machine. The sales person that sold me the washing machine the stated that I needed to get a repair person out to fix the machine. I told the sales person that that was not going to happen because I paid close to $600 and I was not going to get a brand new washing machine fixed. I then ordered a whirlpool washing machine. The delivery people came to pick up the machine one evening when they delivered the whirlpool. Same issue was going on with the whirlpool shaking violently on spin cycle. I went back to lowes the next day to get the matag credited back to my account and to advise the sales person that I was having the same problem with the whirlpool washing machine. The sales rep advised me that they could have someone to come out on Tuesday to check the level on the whirlpool. Well Monday came and I never did get a call that evening as to when someone could come on Tuesday so I figured since lowes did not care I will just have them to pick it up so I could get my money back for the washing machine, hoses and the extended warrant which I purchased. This past Saturday the sales rep advised they will be at my house after 2:00pm and then when I got the call from the delivery people they said between 11:00-1:00pm. Since I had something important to do I told lowes to schedule me for Sunday. Never got a call from the delivery people on Saturday evening for the pickup. Lowes cancelled Saturday pickup but never rescheduled for Sunday. Then called lowes back and they stated they will be able to put me on the list for Sunday after 2:00pm. Well kept on calling lowes and it was almost 8:00pm to be told I was taken off the list.!Hope they get it straighted out. Now speaking with supervisor David to get this matter resolved.

You don't say whether you bought a top loader or a front loader. Either way the delivery people more than likely aren't trained enough to know there are shipping bolts in front loaders that need to be removed before the machine is used and in the case of a top loader there are shipping blocks in the base of the machine that need to be removed. If these are not removes the drum is tied to the machine causing it to shake.

Lowes review in East Point, Georgia: Ms. Latrell is Repeat rude cashier in garden center in Camp Creek store

There is a cashier in the Garden center at Camp Creek store in East point, called " Latrell". I'm a very loyal, repeat customer and she is the only employee in the garden shop that is ughhh... Irritating. She doesn't greet you initially, looks at you when walk in like you've got 3 heads. Ask her a question, she gives you an attitude in half. When she checks you out always acts like she's doing you a favor and looks mean, unwelcoming, no smile. How she got the job, I don't know. She always be talking to other employee gossiping in front of customers, ignoring you while she checks you out. She need some customer service training badly. They need relocate or retrain her because even the vendors smile answer questions and most importantly thank you for your hard earn purchases. My neighbor shops there and mentioned they had to report her to management before. Obiviously, nothing was done because she is still there in garden shop, messing up your garden shopping experience! If she continues to be there, myself and others say they will stay away and go elsewhere. Cause it's too much to deal with!

20 minutes on phone waiting to find if product was in store and where it was located... Went to store product not where I was told... Finally found help was sent to another wrong location.. Waved down another reluctant employee(Dan) he showed me and walked off, leaving me to pull large object from tight box. Was directed to wrong location for another item... Asked another employee (Alex) where it might be.. Was told row 4.. I asked right or left he said he did not know that "I would just have to go look". Not on that row so I asked another employee(Tom) he took me to row 2 and I found the item!!! Lowe's floor staff is very rude and inadequate.

My husband and I purchased a new fridge, oven, and dishwasher in May. Our fridge, when delivered had a bunch of dents and dings in the front right door. I immediately called and was told by a appliance manager he was ordering us a new door and should be there in a few weeks. We never heard from him. Being that it's July now we called- Conyers Georgia and spoke to Daniel in appliances who was nice on the phone but unfortunately gave us the run around- my husband ended up having to go up to the store after not getting anything accomplished over the phone- he was told a door would be delivered in a few days that they had new fridges in the back. When we got our door after it was installed 15min after the delivery men left our door alarm to our fridge started going off...we made a lot calls that day... Nobody wanted to come back out- I made a appointment with the warranty we got on the fridge to come back out 3days away- another for the next day to "look into it"-lets just say it took my husband having to tell lowes that he was going to bring the entire fridge to lowes and drop it at the front door and cause a scene to get someone back out- and they didn't show back up until after dark 930pm this was after he had to make a second phone call and was also disconnected. After the alarm had been fixed my husband stated to the guy that fixed the issue the door is now not on our fridge properly it's actually slightly off and not flush- the man that was sent out agreed we were sent a messed up door and we were told our door was actually the display door off the sales floor!!!!!!! NOT A NEW DOOR. We spent a lot of money at lowes not just buying our appliances but other things as well.... After this is said and done it is the last time we will ever purchase from lowes. I work with customers on a daily basis and this would never happen at my job

So I started the day off with buying an LG washing machine for a 50 % off but it had been "repaired". Thinking Lowes was reputable we went ahead and thought wow we are so lucky, returned it three hours later . Bought another ' repaired ' washing machine for two hundred more about to return that too coz it doesn't work. I don't know what racket Lowes has but I will NEVER buy anything from Lowes ever again. They are a complete scam. Lowes sucks completely and utterly. By far the worst appliance shopping ever. Did I say Lowes sucks. And we are a working class family. And they at trying to screw us over .

Lowes - Whirlpool Washing Machine Review from Griffin, Georgia

I purchased a whirlpool basic medium priced washing machines from Lowes in Griffin, Georgia about 4 years ago. I despise this product! I have been washing clothes for about 60 years and know how to treat and be respectful with a machine. This machine is inadequate in every way! It wraps clothes around the agitator, cannot spin, when it's paused to be corrected it starts the entire cycle all over again. It consumes an inordinate amount of time from the beginning to the end! There are NO worth while qualities about this product! Nothing!

Lowes contracts Thieves

Lowes hired a subcontractor to install carpet in my home. I left the workers alone at my home for around 1.5 to 2 hours and I returned home to find my refrigerator had been stolen. I immediately contacted the subcontractors supervisor and he stated that he does not believe his workers would steal. I filed a police report. Then I contacted Lowes and the subcontractor's business, once again and they were very unhelpful and practically refused to assist me and would not accept responsibility. They said, "Let the police complete their investigation and find your refrigerator." This is just unbelievable! I will never use their services again!!! Lowes hires AND allows criminals to work in your home!
