My husband and I purchased a new fridge, oven, and dishwasher in May. Our fridge, when delivered had a bunch of dents and dings in the front right door. I immediately called and was told by a appliance manager he was ordering us a new door and should be there in a few weeks. We never heard from him. Being that it's July now we called- Conyers Georgia and spoke to Daniel in appliances who was nice on the phone but unfortunately gave us the run around- my husband ended up having to go up to the store after not getting anything accomplished over the phone- he was told a door would be delivered in a few days that they had new fridges in the back. When we got our door after it was installed 15min after the delivery men left our door alarm to our fridge started going off...we made a lot calls that day... Nobody wanted to come back out- I made a appointment with the warranty we got on the fridge to come back out 3days away- another for the next day to "look into it"-lets just say it took my husband having to tell lowes that he was going to bring the entire fridge to lowes and drop it at the front door and cause a scene to get someone back out- and they didn't show back up until after dark 930pm this was after he had to make a second phone call and was also disconnected. After the alarm had been fixed my husband stated to the guy that fixed the issue the door is now not on our fridge properly it's actually slightly off and not flush- the man that was sent out agreed we were sent a messed up door and we were told our door was actually the display door off the sales floor!!!!!!! NOT A NEW DOOR. We spent a lot of money at lowes not just buying our appliances but other things as well.... After this is said and done it is the last time we will ever purchase from lowes. I work with customers on a daily basis and this would never happen at my job

Lowes Lg Electronics Washing Machine Review from Columbus, Georgia

So I started the day off with buying an LG washing machine for a 50 % off but it had been "repaired". Thinking Lowes was reputable we went ahead and thought wow we are so lucky, returned it three hours later . Bought another ' repaired ' washing machine for two hundred more about to return that too coz it doesn't work. I don't know what racket Lowes has but I will NEVER buy anything from Lowes ever again. They are a complete scam. Lowes sucks completely and utterly. By far the worst appliance shopping ever. Did I say Lowes sucks. And we are a working class family. And they at trying to screw us over .

Lowes - Whirlpool Washing Machine Review from Griffin, Georgia

I purchased a whirlpool basic medium priced washing machines from Lowes in Griffin, Georgia about 4 years ago. I despise this product! I have been washing clothes for about 60 years and know how to treat and be respectful with a machine. This machine is inadequate in every way! It wraps clothes around the agitator, cannot spin, when it's paused to be corrected it starts the entire cycle all over again. It consumes an inordinate amount of time from the beginning to the end! There are NO worth while qualities about this product! Nothing!

oreded a speacial out swing door. seal arent correct, doors dont align, plus others items. took 2.5 weeks to get a rep out. its now 2.5 weeks and no answer about a faulty door. oh. they said 1 week.

Lowes contracts Thieves

Lowes hired a subcontractor to install carpet in my home. I left the workers alone at my home for around 1.5 to 2 hours and I returned home to find my refrigerator had been stolen. I immediately contacted the subcontractors supervisor and he stated that he does not believe his workers would steal. I filed a police report. Then I contacted Lowes and the subcontractor's business, once again and they were very unhelpful and practically refused to assist me and would not accept responsibility. They said, "Let the police complete their investigation and find your refrigerator." This is just unbelievable! I will never use their services again!!! Lowes hires AND allows criminals to work in your home!

I bought a tiller at Home Depot and they embarrassed me even with the extended warranty. They kept it 3 months and finally after a big hassle gave me another one. It was not even 6 months old. So I started buying my stuff at Lowes. Man what a difference. I have a lawn trailer with a dry rotted tire. Two days later they called me and said come get your new cart. Cart? Yes sir we are giving you a whole new cart. One phone call. Period. Chris from seasonal and everytime I come in someone asks me if I need help. Home Depot employees see you looking at them and they walk away fast. WTH... Even nicer this year. Don't get stuck with a bad tool at Home Depot. They act like your up to something when you have a problem Geez. Biiig difference..

Lowes in Winston, Georgia - Oh, I am so angry........

I spent most of my day in Lowe's at Columbus, MS today and I am very upset with what happened. At 10:00 this morning I was lI ooking at a John Deere riding lawn mower. A salesman name Cody came to assist and I ask him about this particular mower. He told me that this was the only one they had like it. He gave me the price and wrote down a number for me. I asked him to put it back as sold and that my grandson and I would be back at 1:00 to get it. Well, when I went back, Cody told me that this particular mower was last year's model and that they would knock off $200.00. I asked if it was a new mower, one that had never been sold. He stated that it was a new one. Which was okay with me. I waited a long time, at the cash register and finally Cody came and gave the check out person the code for the lawn mower and I paid for it. Then they advised that the lawn mower would not crank. I asked them to put a new battery on it. Mitch, who I later found out is a somewhat store manager, told me no, they could not put a new battery on it. They flat refused to do this, jumped the lawn mower off, and then loaded it onto my grandson's trailer. I asked if they would try to crank it again...they did and of course it would not crank. I asked for my money back and then I asked to speak to the store manager. Low and behold the store manager was the do do outside that flat refused to put a new battery on the lawn mower! He then told me that he would put a new one on it. By this time, I was so upset with the craziness I told him to take a flying leap and that I would take my money to Scruggs. These people have no customer service! They do not have to worry about me spending my time and money with them. There are people to actually want my business. I will be contacting Lowes Headquarters and I also plan to make John Deere aware of this. They are giving the John Deere company a bad name. So.....if you do business with Lowe's in Columbus, beware of Cody and Mitch. I spent a total of about four hours in an attempt to buy a riding lawn mower and came home without one. Scruggs, here I come!

Thank you everyone for your reviews. It's really helpful.

I've had horrible experiences with other service providers in the past. I have learnt to check stores and companies out before I proceed now do to so many horrible and incompetent people in the service business out there that really could care less. I need to do some renovations and was considering Lowe's, but had no idea that this was a bad store. On home renovation shows, I've seen contractors buy supplies there, so I assumed they must be good.

Sorry you'll had a horrible experience. At the end businesses that allow employees to disrespect customers will find a major dent in their bottom line.

Lowes in Guyton, Georgia - Employee - Jared in the Tool Dept.

My husband is a combat Vietnam veteran. We were having trouble with the footplate on his wheelchair. Jared came and checked out the footplate and went and found various tools to help secure the footplate. He was wonderful. He went way out of his way to secure the right tools to solve the problem with the plate. His patience, politeness and professionalism is to be highly commended. My husband left the store delighted that he now could fix the problem when it occurs at home. We cannot thank Jared enough for his super work. Lowes in Macon, Georgia - Failure to receive 10% Discount.

Purchased a Ref 26-CU FT SXS REF FFHS2 on Feb 4, 2016. The ref cost $798.00, Did not receive the 10% discount since it was an appliance that qualified for the discount. In my opinion I should have been awarded the 10% and an additional 10% Military Discount. #153878. A nearby city awarded the 10% as well as the 10% Military Discount. OMG, so they give me Jan 22 as the day they will NOW come and get my machine fixed...remember it has been since Thanksgiving(Nov 2015 that is has been broken) They call my home and cell phone to say they are coming. THEN I get a call in the evening that they are rescheduling AGAIN until Feb 10th!!

WTF!!! This is not acceptable.

My washer started to leak thanksgiving 2015, Called lowes they scheduled service with A & E. 3 weeks later, Service Man went to wrong, house, never called to verify. Weeks later, service man came and had to order parts, another 3 weeks later, another service man came and said NO didn't need those parts, ordered another part, today he was to come and install but NEvER SHOWED UP AND NO CALL FROM A &E. Now I have to wait another week for someone to maybe show up?!?! WHAT? 2 months without washer that is only 2 years old! REALLY!! A & E has the worst service and Lowes is no better as they have NO BACK UP service company for us to use. This is just ***!
