This is my opinion and my personal experience and I have evidence to back up my claims. Lowe’s did provide a good installer for my bathroom counter install but even the process of going through Lowe’s to do this was very frustrating due to little if no call backs when trying to gather information on my project, not sending needed information in a timely manner, and not being upfront about realistic time frames of project completion. Lowe’s executive office did look into my project but has not rectified my situation to my satisfaction as of yet.

I have had a horrible experience with Lowe’s. Worst decision of my life and I wish I had somehow known to avoid them. The sub contractor they assigned to my master bathroom project had horrible work ethic, installed materials incorrectly according to industry standards and they still have yet to give me a credit back for the work improperly done. They wanted to come “correct” the issues but this was the last straw with my project and there was no way I could take the risk again after experiencing such incompetence and I professionalism. I am a very patient and flexible person and this has been the worst experience of my life. Still not resolved and I have experienced emotional abuse by stall tactics and even Lowe’s executive staff that has chosen not to rectify this situation properly. I will never recommend Lowe’s to anyone and will never use them again. There are no words to describe how upset, frustrated and angry I am with how they have treated me and handled a mistake that they should’ve taken full responsibility of.

We had the same experience it was a 3-month horror story not only bad installation and service unethical. They operate in a fraudulent manner they substitute cheaper products they send a handyman instead of general contractor and that's just the beginning of the problems we had we're out $4,500 right now. Our experience was out of Union City Tennessee and their installation Department they give you the run-around every time you have a complaint that someone else you have to talk to I talked to at least seven people that never returned phone calls answer emails or address these problems.

Lowes in Woodstock, Georgia - Dissapointed

I purchased carpet off the roll from my Lowes store in Woodstock Ga and was told I could have it installed within the week. Sure enough we received a call from the installers with a date and time. My husband was waiting at our rental property for three hours when the installers called to say they were waiting on the store to cut the carpet off the roll. My husband told them we would reschedule which I called immediately and was told that they had employees out sick so they were behind and could not give us a date. I called and spoke to the store manager who acted like it was no big deal although he did say he would take care of it. I called days later because I still hadn't heard from the store and spoke to a woman in the flooring department who preceded to tell me that life happens, people do get sick and I shouldn't be so impatient. I explained that this is a rental property which is why I purchased carpet that was already in the store and didn't have to be ordered because I couldn't rent it without the carpet. I told her I am losing money and a store as big as Lowes should not be affected by a couple of employees being sick. We did finally get it installed but never have I experienced such poor customer service from Lowes. I have purchased several appliances and all the carpet in my home from them so I know how it usually operates.

Went to this location out of convenience, had an expectation that the customer service would be the same as it is across the board with other Lowe’s locations... (I was completely wrong) I had a project that I wanted to complete this weekend that would have cost a little under $200 once I priced everything that I needed. As I walked and grabbed the items that I needed, I realized that their inventory was a little off from the information that I received previously... No biggie... I was flexible with my choices, so I switched my items up. As I began gathering the replacement items, I asked one gentleman in appliances to assist me, he told me to wait and that he would help... after 15 minutes he walked away and didn’t return.. I tried not to allow that to steal my excitement. I walked each aisle hoping that i would find other items to incorporate.. I got the the aisle with PVC piping and had a brain storm.. I walked over to the register in the wood area and spoke to an older lady... she educated me that they would cut the pipe to my specifications and that she would page someone for me... she pages twice and no one ever showed up.. (I waited for 38 minutes) I decided to call the store at this point and ask for a manager to come over to assist me.. the first call that I made... after selecting “0” no one answered. I tried again, this time the operator said that she would page the manager on duty.. I heard her page this manager twice and again... nothing! Once I realized that my mood was changing, I took it as a sign and walked past the lady again at the register that helped previously and thanked her... I’m not sure of what is going on at this location, but there is room for improvement and opportunities of growth. Your business is losing sales for various reasons, your employees that are being paid to assist your customers are not accountable to their role and the managers are to busy to answer the phone! Sounds like you either need more employees, dedicated employees and possibly more managers. I highly doubt that i am the only person that has experienced this, as I went through this process today... The journey started with Lowe's about January. We went in the store looking to purchase cabinets. We were told that Custom Cabinets would take several months, and was advised to go with in stock they would take about two weeks; so we decided to just go with the in-stock cabinets. We paid for the measurements and it took about a month before the measurement guy came out. Then trying to get the cabinet set up we had to switch to another representative because the one that was in the store didn't know what he was doing. We visited the store several times and trying to get everything squared away so about 2 months later we finally was able to get things kind of setup. At this point we contacted corporate office of Lowe's to assist since the customer service was deplorable. We went through so much in 3-months that corporate made the manager give us a discount, however when we came in we didn't have the cost of installation established by the in store representative, so yet again another week went by before this could get done. Finally got everything going but then the cabinets had several delays and delivery with JB Hunt which caused us to be off work several different times. Finally when the cabinets were delivered, we open the packages and out of 12 cabinets ordered 10 were damaged. We contacted the corporate person in charge (Cindy) and informed them and sent pictures showing the damages and at this point in time the lady Cindy considered herself getting personally involved and upset with us in the whole process of trying to get things resolved (imagine that. We are the customers) that her solution was to just cancel the project because she felt we was being to difficult and hard to pleased. Are we supposed to accept damage cabinets and bad customer service? Now this time I'll kitchen is totally demolished and to cancel the project I told her that was not an option so I had to escalate to higher authorities in Lowe's management which took over two weeks with no return called on three escalation to get it resolved through Lowe's management. I told Claire that Lowe's need to live up to their obligation and get our project done because as of right now to have us and our kids with no kitchen no cabinets no sink no nothing it just bare and we have been eating out everyday incurring more expenses than we anticipated. Remind you that this process supposed to had only took two weeks and we are now on the 5th month. I'm very disappointed with Lowe's with this whole process and it's just not right for this to have taken place this way and to spend all these expenditures and still not have cabinets installed and for Lowe's to decide that they are going to cancel the project as a solution is unacceptable. So let's hope that the corporate office and resolve this issue and get our cabinets installed within next week. Corporate office told me they opened the file back up and have escalated above the department that canceled the project and left us in the awkward position. They told me there's nothing they can do but re-order the new cabinets but that's it. They are not installing them because it's cancelled and management refunded my money against my will. This company is a joke and don't care about people livelihood. I'm contacting the news.

It should have been pretty obvious when it took 2 months to even "kind of" get an order for stock cabinets set up that you should have walked away and gone elsewhere. You could have gone to a local cabinet shop and had custom cabinets built and installed for a similar price in a fraction of the time you spent with lowes. Why didn't you pay attention to the warning signs that problems were ahead and run from Lowes?

Measurement was 200sq more than I measured, which included 15% waste. No phone calls from the store, went in person and talked to different person. Waited for another call. Called store and no one was in the department. Called another company and had the carpet installed within 72 hrs of the sale. Better carpet and less Money. Lowes lost $2500 on the deal. Might want to find a different installer and teach employees to talk to each other.

Purchased refrigerator on March 3, 2018. It is not cooling....had so much food spoilage..can only get refund for spoilage if i provide receipt for purchases. Who keeps their supermarket bills. Called WHIRLPOOL HEADQUARTERS...very rude customer service, and only because i purchased the warranty i am getting repairs done for a $1400 appliance not a replacement. WHY!!! WILL NEVER EVER PURCHASE ANOTHER WHIRLPOOL APPLIANCE AGAIN. Buyer beware.

We have a very similiar model Whirlpool with similiar problems. Have to keep on coldest setting to keep get temp tp 41. Several service calls, ended up buying extended warranty after 4 repair calls in 1st 3 months.

The warranty covers repair, not replacement, thats why. Have you ever bought a car?

They don't give you a new car if the transmission fails a month after you bought it, they repair it. You will find the warranties on most expensive products covers repair, not replacement.

Lowe's Rincon Ga. In the beginning I was given permission to record. Contract signed 1/27/2017 Displaced from home since 3/13/2017- current. I have recordings of being told .1.) In my house being told No you cannot have another contractor do the work. This is before the second floor is put in. 2.) told to sign off on a floor that work was not completed if I don't he will. I have 6 hours and 30 minutes of recordings about my renovation with store management. Included are pictures of the 5th subcontractor's work; of first contractor and this is the second floor that was laid. Pictures: 1.) Line popped as guide to keep everything square. It is hand drawn with a pencil. This is front door ( 2.) 2" sheet rock screw grouted in (3.) 2 of 8 tiles marked shows hollow areas. This is guest bath entry. (4.) Kitchen in front of cabinets. (5.) Second subcontractor; of first contractor wired whirlpool heater and pump to smoke detectors each need dedicated circuits. Code violation and voids warranty on tub. (6.) Removal of first floor marked area that chipped on removal.

Terrible customer service! In November I ordered a washer and dryer set that was to be delivered in January. Upon the delivery date, Lowes sent me 3 defected items: a washer, dryer and refrigerator all which had several dents in them. I decided to keep the fridge and send back the washer and dryer because the dents were all over the machines and completely unacceptable. I was told by Lowes that I wouldn't be able to receive a replacement washer and dryer for another 2 months and that they would not be able to service me with a loaner set in the meantime. After A LOT of effort, I got corporate to send me a loaner set while I waited on my replacement washer and dryer set. Today, 2 months later, Lowes sent me ANOTHER washer and dryer set that is defected - full of dents, scratches and marks as if I bought it from a dent and scratch store. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. I have spent good, hard-earned money on my appliances and I have yet to be able to use them. The Lowes department store and the corporate office have been careless and apathetic, at best. As a first time customer, this will definitely be my last time. It's a slap in the face that Lowes finds it acceptable to send defective products to customers. Absolutely ridiculous. You even have to send a special request that you want you appliances still in the box upon delivery. That should be a given! Lowes has definitely ruined my experience with them and I have every intention on spreading the word to other potential appliance purchasers in the market.
