Today at atore #1828, employees Robert, Connor, and Sergeo But especially Robert went above and beyond to help assist me before, during and after my purchases. I tried locating a district office number, but unable to find one. I just wanted someone to know how great they were to me as a customer.

Robert should be made president of the company. He is just what this company needs to fix all of the problems that Lowe's has been experiencing. Finally, someone with some Connor sense to run things!

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. I can't even begin to describe my frustration. We ordered carpet that we were told would be in on March 21st. I call on. March 23rd only to be told everything from "no one knows where it is" to "storms in the south have delayed it" to "it's somewhere in Illinois, we just don't know where." All kinds of excuses and runaround. We ordered the carpet to time the install on a week we have off of work, and now it will be maybe installed the last day we have off - either at 8:00am or at 12:30 pm, but no one can say for sure. Dan at Lowes was initially helpful and convinced me not to cancel my order, but after I didn't hear from him about an install time (he told me the installer would be calling me and they did not) and called him back, he was short to the point of rude and most unhelpful. I cannot tell you what a frustrating experience this has been! Do NOT use Lowes for flooring installation... Unless you want blood pressure problems.

Did ya'll hear about lowes new business model ? well what little customer service they do have is now getting farmed out to a call center so you can't complain to a store manager .

not only that but they are taking all the local contractor jobs floors , heating and air ,door installs and giving the installs to a company out of state !

that will be great service . on top of that all the deliveries will also be farmed out leaving no one accountable for damages to the product or home .

called whirlpool and they said we are under warranty and are now sending a new drawer for free. Thank you Whirlpool.

Lowes was just trying to rip us off by making us pay (twice) for the shelf that they did not deliver. I will buy whirlpool again, but I will not step foot into Lowes.

I bought a Whirlpool fridge from Lowes. I order to get an additional 5% off they convinced me to get a Lowes card. The bill did not come so I called and they said they sent it but it was not delivered, so we made arrangements to pay online. Anyway, I started getting phone calls from a bill collector. Despite the fact that we resolved the issue with the store and then had to explain it several times to the bill collectors, who said the calls would stop, we continued getting calls three or ore times each day on our home phone and at work. We pleaded them to stop but the calls kept coming. When the fridge arrived, it looked like it was missing a drawer and we asked he delivery guy about it. He said it was not missing a drawer. The drawers could be moved around and so it just looked that way. We believed him until we went to a friend's house who had an identical fridge, but it had the missing drawer. When we called Lowes they said we were out of luck and had to pay 158 dollars for the drawer because it was after 30 days. Despite several calls to Lowes we are stuck with a new fridge without a drawer. Ironically, this is why we purchased a new fridge in the first place, because our old fridge had a broken drawer and we are selling our home. So now we are out 1200 for the fridge and 158 for a drawer if we purchase it. In addition I was embarrassed at work because the phone went off during my lecture, embarrassing me in front of my students when their bill collectors from India called me for at least the 20th time in a matter of two weeks asking for money they had already received.

If you thought you were missing a drawer why didn't you just stop in the store and look at the display? It amazes me at how people wait extended periods of time before they follow up on a problem.

If you have a problem with an item you have delivered or purchase from any store let them know right away. If the product has been in your home for a month or longer who knows if the problem was there to start or was a problem you caused?

Not getting a bill is not a good excuse to not pay. When you get a credit card, and use it, common sense tells you that in 30 days you owe the bill. You could have always gone online to lowes.com to set up your account to view and pay your bill.

It's not Lowe's fault that you were being called by a bill collector. Lowe's cards are issued by a BANK, not by Lowe's Corporation.

Also, I think they were right to deny your claim after 30 days.

I don't care what the delivery person said, if you think there's something wrong with your product, make your concerns known BEFORE the store warranty expires.

You're kind of a dumb ***.

Will never buy anything from Lowes again!! Bought a new whirlpool washer, and extended warranty. Theyve been down here 4 times. The last time they said ot was unrepairable. Now theyre wanting to send another repairman. They're brain dead, and rude. Wont let u explain, talk over u. Cant wash anything but light weight clothes. No jeans, throws, towells, or blankets. Is this right? They've put new springs in it twice and a complete new tub. Never buy from Lowes!!!!! Sandra Holderfield..Dongola, IL...618-697-9835. PISSED!!!!!

Four months ago I hired Lowes to install windows at my residence. The windows are still unfinished as of today. Four months ago I hired Lowes to install windows at my residence. The windows are still unfinished as of today. The installer came by on the date agreed to and installed the windows but not the metal exterior trim, saying you did not want that done. Of course I wanted it done, that is what I paid for! That was 4 months ago, I keep getting promised that it will be completed in two weeks. Every two weeks there is an "issue" as to why it can't be completed that day. Whn I ask why they can't finish my windows the very next day or day(s) I'm told that the schedule won't allow it and it will be another two weeks. Store manager won't move my date up on their schedule, I called corporate to make a complaint and was assured it would be resolved and I would be contacted in 24 hours. Four days later I called to find out what the status was, and was told the store closed it out (E. Peoria, Illinois) as I "agreed" to their resolution. They never called me, and now I've lost all faith that my windows will be completed as my "agreement" was a complete lie. I'd prefer not to have to sue over this but here I am 4 months later with a project that has been fully paid for there is no sight of it being completed.

Went in search of flooring options. The man helping was a ***. We had basic measurement, width by length. Basic square room. Looked at me and shrugged his shoulders and said "what do you want? So you measured the room... " was trying to explain what we wanted as far as options etc. Another employee walked up where we were standing to talk to this gentleman and acted at this point as if I were not even there.... Turned, began talking to the other employee, and said " when I'm done here"... And rolled his eyes at this employee, who then began to chuckle.... If I NEVER HAVE TO DEAL WITH THIS MAN AGAIN, IT WILL BE TOO SOON. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED AND NOT CARRY A NAME WORTHY OF ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!;

Appliance Nightmare From LOWES Orland Park My wife and I decided to replace our appliances, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and gas range. We visited the Lowes store on LaGrange Rd. in Orland Park, Illinois. Day one - October 24th 2015 We picked out all our Samsung appliances and were told by the sales person that the refrigerator was on back order and wouldn’t be available for 2 weeks. That was fine, we where prepared to wait so that all 4 appliances would be delivered together. Several days before our due delivery, I received a call from the store telling me that the refrigerator was a very popular item and wouldn’t be available for another month. Of course my wife and I were extremely disappointed. I asked the salesperson if he could send me a similar refrigerator to which he replied sure we have nearly the same but an upgrade. Wow, it was on sale my faith in Lowes was revived until the delivery date. Delivery date – Saturday - November 7th 2015 My wife called me while I was at work informing me that the microwave was not on the order and was not part of the delivery. The refrigerator, which was to tall for the required space was put back on the truck due to the space being ¼ inch to short and the stove was in place. Approximately 30 minutes after the drivers left, my wife was wiping the stove down and removing all tape and upon opening the oven realized this was not the convection oven that was ordered. After confirming with the store manager the model number on the stove, it was noted that the stove had a wrong model number attached to it. Since we were installing the dishwasher ourselves, that was left boxed in our kitchen. Sunday - November 8th 2015 We met with the Manager (Craig) and a very helpful sales person (Joe Susso), who kindly upgraded our microwave and dishwasher for all the trouble we had endured. my wife and I drove back home, loaded the dishwasher not yet installed and returned to the store. After spending an hour at the store pointing out yet again our chosen appliances, we were assured that our appliances except the dishwasher, which I decided to take with, would all be delivered on the following day. Great everything was ready to go. My wife and I left the store excited and extremely happy. Monday – November 9th 2015 1230pm It’s the delivery of my new appliances, A very nice delivery driver Francisco exclaimed I have your order Mr. Ryan , one gas range one microwave. Francisco were is my refrigerator? Sorry, he said, this is what I have. Filled with more disappointment, I called Lowes and spoke yet to another manager who told me that they didn’t have a refrigerator for me. I explained the situation from my visit to the store on Sunday had he agreed to investigate. After several minutes waiting on the phone, the manager returned and said I’m so sorry Mr. Ryan I’m standing here at the store with my hand on your refrigerator, and not to worry. I will bring it myself. I’ll be there soon! My attention turned to Francisco who needed my signature as I looked at the gas range I realized Lowe’s had sent me the wrong one, yet again. Minutes later, my refrigerator arrived with one of the store managers who was very apologetic that this happened. At that moment, the manager was told that the wrong gas range had been delivered. He was speechless, how this could happen so many times to one customer. The manager turned and told me somehow he would deliver the right gas range to my home that day, which he did. I finally received all the items I had paid for. For my wife and I, we are totally exhausted with the whole Lowes experience and would highly recommend that the corporate office at Lowes takes steps to improve communication and follow through, checking each delivery before it leaves the store.

I've had two bad incidents happen to me in the last week. The first problem was with a guy that was working the indoor lumber yard. I asked him if he could cut a few trim boards so I could haul them in my truck. He got all kinds of disrespectful, talking very rudely, saying he wasn't going to do that. I became enraged by the way this employee talked to me. I left Lowes and went to Menards and asked the same question. They took the boards outside and cut them for me. The second issue is I spent $3000.00 on a new Maytag Maxima washer and dryer set with pedestals. The machines came in a week earlier than the pedestals so I had to wait almost 3 weeks for everything to arrive at the store, all the while the warranty being in effect for 3 weeks and I don't have the machines in my house. i get a phone call today (10-14-15) and I am told the dryer is damaged and it would be re-ordered. It arrived at the Burlington store a week ago. You would think this dryer would have been inspected immediately upon its arrival to the store. ...guess not!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Don't trust these people at all. Ordered a custom $1000 slider door, which they incorrectly ordered and HAVEN'T DONE A THING and don't own up to their mistake. Thanks lowes for the $1000 mistake YOU made. Advised that they can't do anything now that it has been framed. I will be sure to share my experience with all friends and vow to not spend a dime at your establishment ever again.

I just had the same experience at the White Lake MI Lowe's. Ordered a custom built 12' door wall, two sliding doors, two stationary doors.

They delivered it WITHOUT the doors. The doors and frame have several defects.

I have sent photos to the store manager and contacted corporate. Reliabuilt is Reliacrap.

My guess is that YOU signed an order form that included a description of the door that included sizes, colors, materials etc..

Didn't YOU bother looking at what you ordered? Stores put these orders in writing to give customers the chance to review what they are ordering and make sure they are getting what they want. YOU need to shoulder some of the blame for the error as well for not being a responsible customer and watching what you were ordering.
