The Edge Tile was a HORRIBLE product. Good idea, bad engineering.

Never saw an installation that didn't crack afterwards.

Biggest issues were rolling heavy things across them with hand trucks. You could see exactly where the hand truck travelled just by the following the cracks!

We bought a washer and dryer on Black Friday weekend, and were scheduled for delivery in two weeks. We tore apart our laundry closet in preparation.

On our delivery day I called to confirm the delivery time because we had not received a call. They said too many were sold and they are having trouble getting the washer, but it would arrive before Christmas. Then we were rescheduled for delivery on January 10th. Today we called to make sure the delivery would really happen.

Now they say the washer won't arrive until February...hopefully. What? They still can't tell us when we'll get the washer and dryer, even though we have had to make payments on items we don't even have. I understand how this happened, but the customer service has been lacking here.

No excuse for them not letting us know the deliveries had been cancelled. If no washer by February we will be cancelling the purchase.

I had a carpet installation gone wrong too. hey hire subcontractors, so an issue can become sticky.

I ended up getting a refund for the botched portion, but that was after I made a lot of noise. They tried to ignore the situation away, but I persisted because I knew I was in the right.

Lowes in Chicago, Illinois - Lemon wash machine

we just got our taxes and purchased a GE wash machine from Lowe's . we had to wait almost two weeks for delivery,no biggie!but less then two weeks after it's delivered it burn up,and lowes won't exchange it because we've had more then 7 days !the information on the warranty says call for service 24 hrs a day 7 days a week and guess what ? they're closed ! omfg ! are you for real ? you gonna reimburse me for the money I'm gonna spend at the laundromat till you get your dead *** out here????????????

I agree with Mike Jones, do you run to the car dealer and demand a new car when the tire goes flat driving home from the deal? No, I know it's hard to comprehend for some folks, but....Lowe's, Sears, Home Depot DO NOT have a team of elves in the backroom assembling appliances! The manufacturer's after 7 days INSIST on at least ONE Good-faith repair attempt or they will not credit the store, no matter what the store is.

My husband and I both used to work at Home Depot. The employees there were miserable and constantly fearing for their jobs.

There was an assistant manager who was throwing out a bunch of donations for charities down the dumpster because he didnt want to wait for the guy to come in and pick it up the next day and falsified vendor returns. He fired everyone in receiving who called the Aware Line about it. My husband had to stay home with me when I went to the hospital and they threatened to fire him.

We both moved to Lowes and were delighted. We got a 10% discount on merchandise for starters, but also when my mom was sick, they told me to just call them when I wanted to work so I could take care of my mom.

Lowes has been amazing and gracious to me. Im very proud to have worked there.

My wife works at a lowes and her manager swears at her. She is afraid to lose her job if she complains because the others that have also have been fired. She busts her butt. She comes in early works on her days off help other departments and she has to deal with this *** talking like that to her. Stay Woody If I see you on the street I will beat the *** out of you. I promise. I have personally boycotted shopping there as a result of this practice of firing the good employees and hiring bad management. Demoralize me I dare you.

If it is a special order carpet it doesnt even go to the store. It goes straight to the installer.

So your husbands student's story seems fishy.
