Bought a dishwasher at Lowe's and had them remove my old one and install the new one. Installation went well, woke up the next morning and water is dripping from the ceiling of my finished basement below the dishwasher that was installed.
Called the installer and they came to check it out (8 hours later). The connections to the dishwasher were dry, so the installer guessed that the supply line that is between the bottom of the cabinet and the ceiling in the basement must have sprung a leak. Even though he was in there installing a junction box for the electric and working with the supply line, it couldn't possibly be caused by him. No problems with this ever and all of a sudden we have a dishwasher installed and pipes in between floors start to leak.
So i contact Lowe's and they basically said, "that is your problem, call your insurance company". If the dishwasher works, that is all they are concerned about.
So now I will have to pay a deductable, and my insurance will go up 15% because Lowe's doesn't stand behind their installations. #Loweshomeimprovement #Lowesinstallationfail
