Bought a Whirlpool Gold refrigerator from the Thomaston, Maine Lowes less than three years ago. Had issues with water leaking out of the freezer in the first year.

It was fixed by a professional tech and all was fine. It started leaking again and icing up inside the freezer. The original tech no longer does work for Lowes. So they sent a couple idiots out to fix it instead.

They pulled the refrig out across a fairly new pumpkin pine floor with nothing put under it to protect the floor. Needless to say I now have two grooves about 4 feet long across my nice floors. I was not in the house when they decided to do this. The first tech had enough brains to put cardboard down!

These idiots thought nothing of it and said they do it all the time. Nice going Lowes!

Where'd you find these guys, in the unemployment line? Lowes could care less about it!

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $2.

Preferred solution: Pay for repairs on my floor and fire the idiots working for you so it doesn't happen to someone else.

Lowes does not have techs, they can get a hold of techs in you area that are certified by the manufacture of you appliance to fix your appliance. If any damage was done it would be on the techs company that came out. Lowes only has a delivery crew that comes out to deliver the appliance to your home


Have you approached them about fixing the damage?
