Lowes - Poor installation service

Signed to have carpet installed over a month ago and still have no carpet. I will be making the second payment on carpet I don’t have! The last excuse from the installer is there forklift broke down. When asked why they didn’t rent one they said “ we didn’t do that “ Why Lowes would continue to use such a company is beyond me.

Lowes in Wareham, Massachusetts - Wonderful guys who put down my rug

I had an amazing experience with the wareham Lowe’s carpet installation, were very polite and friendly, i normally go to Home Depot but I’m glad I gave lowes a try. The two guys moved a huge sectional and some other furniture and did it with a smile . I highly recommend buying and installing there rugs you will not be sorry

Details
Ordered carpet from Lowe’s 73 days ago, still no carpet! This is just a runner for my stairs. I am told by Lowe’s it’s the installer but the installer couldn’t find the carpet and now doesn’t know where it went to be bound. Apparently the installer doesn’t have to answer to anybody! This is Lowe’s in Queensbury and the installer is Olympic Carpet.

similar dealing with Lowe's in Milwaukee Wi. never again. took four months to finally tell me they didn't have a qualified installer for the product.

Laid new carpet over old pad,damaged furniture,walls and doors. Wrong cuts, short material 3 month ordeal. Service Pro is Lowe’s subcontractor. $1000 to repaint, furniture not repairable.After a month Lowe’s offered $500. My attorney will be in touch.

Lowes in Greensburg, Pennsylvania - Lowe's is NOT dependable!

In Feburary, 2019 I paid Lowe's for new carpeting. Several weeks later, they sent out a very dirty and unkempt crew to install it. The crew did a very poor job of installation, leaving noticeable seams and ragged edges. One of the installers ruined my vacuum cleaner by overfilling it. When I complained, Lowe's promised to redo the carpeting and let me choose another. In the meantime, problems came up between Lowe's and their installers, (United Installers). This has continued for over 5 months, and they still have not installed my carpeting. Lowe's told me that they will contact me as soon as they have new installers, which should have occurred 10 days ago, but no word as of now. Don't buy carpeting from Lowe's!!!!!!!

The people doing the actually installation of your carpet may have no idea that your installation had been delayed. They just go out to the jobs the scheduler has them set up for when they show up to work in the morning. Many of the installers aren't fluent in English and wouldn't feel comfortable striking up a conversation with you.
