Signed to have carpet installed over a month ago and still have no carpet. I will be making the second payment on carpet I don’t have! The last excuse from the installer is there forklift broke down. When asked why they didn’t rent one they said “ we didn’t do that “ Why Lowes would continue to use such a company is beyond me.

I've been waiting 3 months! No call, no show, no apology!

Both the contractor and Lowes made it seem as if it was no one's fault. WORST EVER!

I had an amazing experience with the wareham Lowe’s carpet installation, were very polite and friendly, i normally go to Home Depot but I’m glad I gave lowes a try. The two guys moved a huge sectional and some other furniture and did it with a smile . I highly recommend buying and installing there rugs you will not be sorry

I had Lowes install carpet in my home. We got high quality carpet and paid over $8,000.00. After 15 months the carpet developed rolls and ridges due to poor installation. Lowes has a one year warranty but many carpet issues develop after the 12 month warranty. I called both the local and corporate office and they were unwilling to budge on the installation issues. They didn't even acknowledge that they would look into the subcontracted installers, so the chance of this happening to someone else is a possibility. The installers did not even use a power stretcher, only a kick stretcher. At the time I thought this was a normal installation practice. After speaking with REAL professionals, I found this is a low budget install. Do not allow Lowes to install carpet in your home.

that's because the only carpet installers that are willing to work for Lowe's are apartment carpet installers. But what did you expect from a "discount home improvement warehouse"? Top of the line service?

We had over $5000,00 of carpet laid 19 months ago. The seams started showing in the hall and entry way of 2 bed rooms and raising up. I called and asked them about it and wasn’t getting anywhere with the sales person I was talking to and asked to talk to manger and was told they would call me Back. That never happened so I called again several times and they was left on hold several times. I finally got to talk to manager and was told that contract only covered instillation for one year. They cold send some out to look at it for $35 but if anything needed do I would have to pay for it! I said that’s poor business and I’d get someone else to do it. I would not let them make anymore money off of me!

Why is this poor business? They have a one year warranty on the installation of the carpet which seem like it would be plenty of time for a problem with the installation to show up. It would be reasonable for them to expect you to pay for service after the warranty period.

Carpet installers a no show. Called company, Hunter Flooring , & was told the installer ran into a problem but would be out in about a hour or so. It has been several hours & they still are not here. Called again & was told they would be out in another 45 minutes. No carpet installed & a room full of furniture is being delivered in the morning. How do you run a business & not show up to do the job?

"Installers showed up in the rain with huge roll despite laser measurements from estimator. Classic ranch house where nothing over 12 feet wide so easily cut room pieces at warehouse. Anyway it is raining and these clowns have to cut it in driveway since they cannot carry the 2 ton roll into the house. We had already torn up old carpet and padding and cleaned, so their job already easier, one would think. They end up short cutting and have to stuff remnants into corners and under baseboards. And it is also the wrong color! And when they leave they refuse to put back furniture and take any old carpet and pad. And the final kicker, they took all the door stops that where screwed into the base boards behind the doors. And last final *** the installer has phone numbers that will not go through or connect. Nice job Lowes.

Absolutely, the worst quality of workmanship, ever. Almost one year of back and forth between contractor, Lowe’s, and us. Lowes reps provided the wrong information and wrong padding for the Berber. The contractor did a substandard job with messy staples, uneven seams, and stairs cut too short. All are pointing fingers at one another. Over $4000 in costs for top of line Stainmaster carpeting and it looks horrible. Lowes does not stand by their customer satisfaction

Finally we gave up with Lowes and signed paper with just 24% refund. But it been 2 months we haven't received our check.

There is no clarity that when I am going to get or will it get reissue if lost.

The person who is working with us is neither responding to our calls or emails. We just get automated response saying will get back to you after 6 days but no clarity on what's going on.

My husband and I purchased a house last yr in 2017, we wanted to do house improvement/upgrate in the new house so we did some research in carpet purchase and narrowed down Lowes however Lowes did not meet our expectation at all, its so frustrating that its been 5 months now and the issue is not close to resolution. we bought carpet from Lowes at Raleigh store around 5 months ago , contractor came in the morning , after doing installation in the whole house at the end of the day they informed us that there are two different shades in the carpet and that some one will contact us shortly since contractor will report this issue with pictures and report. since then our struggle is still on, no one ofcourse contact us and we are at point that we are literally being pass from one team to another, from different people from store manager to CPD and now to sales installation team to get this resolve and yet there is no follow up and status of what is still same. its sad that we trust and choose Lowes for the business and paid upfront $6000 . This was absolutely not expectated from one of the reputed company although I am conceived now I should rather warn my friends, family, co-workers and neighbors not to purchase from Lowes. Lowes contractor lied to us and informed us about the two shade after the insallation. its been 7 months now and there is no satisfactory resolution to this situation.

So-purchased so called “life proof” carpet. The install was supposed to be a runner up the stairs, and carpet to the end of the hall. I was assured by the salesman that it was awesome, pet and kid proof carpet. They installed it-incorrectly. But, OMG! they had enough carpet to come and redo the whole thing correctly. So- they planned to install carpet I paid for elsewhere,since the *** who “measured” seemed to measure twice and pay once. Eventually they redid it and still had a lot of carpet to spare. Insult to injury? The carpet is *** The kids and dogs are wrecking it- but, hey, I was stupid enough to believe that Lowe’s gave me good advice. I have had some success with their appliances, but I will never buy flooring from them again.

Lowes sends out an installer, takes measurements. Next day the installer wants $1.00 sq ft for tack strips & glue ! Really ? This estimate was on a new room clean concrete, no prep. Independent carpet installers charge $1.00 to $2.00 per sq.ft. depending on moving furniture etc. Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad
