Manassas, Virginia store do not care about customer service. They’re rude and confrontational to customers when you questioned their lies. They intentionally lie rather than give you a correct response. This goes for the managers who do not care about customers.

Here we go, on Saturday, August 12 I've visited Lowe's on Inwood Road in Dallas Texas. I needed a few specialty bolts and took them up to the cashier. The barcode was worn off the packages and she had no idea what to do. I must've held the line up for at least five...

I've learned a few things about shopping since stores stopped placing price tags on merchandise. The most important is that if it doesn't have a barcode the cashier can't scan it.

If I pick up a product without a barcode I look for another one that has the barcode. If it doesn't I find someone on the sales floor to get a barcode for the product. I've learned that the cashiers can't leave the register to go find one. They will have to contact someone who will often have to come to the register and go back to the floor to get a code.

It's much quicker to get someone on the floor to get the code BEFORE you go to the register than taking a product without a barcode to the register. This is true of any store you go to, not just Lowes.

Yes, in an ideal world everything would have a tag, and usually does, but stickers can fall off or be pulled off and end up missing. Shop where ever it's convenient for you but realize the same thing can happen there as well and then you'll have to find somewhere else to shop.

Highland, CA Store - Just terminated my employment with Lowe's last Saturday. Stuck in Outside Lawn and Garden on a sunny California Saturday with no help, because of sick calls. Called overhead for assistance twice - 15 people in line and rude management when they...

First I have to say I don't usually buy at lowes, I spend $130000 to $160000 every year in supplies and I usually use Home Depot. I just move my business to a differebt area and decided to give it a try. I went to Lowes in Princeton, Nj. Walked in, almost empty, I was...

Lowes Cashier Review from Tampa, Florida
I made a purchase at Lowes on Commerce Palms Drive, Tampa, Florida 5/20/16. I purchased a stacking rocking chair from the back of the gardening section. It was dirty but was the cleanest of the others. I brought it to the cashier, and she said its a lovely chair but...

Lowes - Cashier Review from Long Beach, California

Will not shop Lowes again: too many times needed items are out of stock or misplaced on shelves. Prices missing creating problems at the cash registers. The biggest issue that removed Lowes from my DIY store is that they would not recognize my veteran status. Granted, I had forgotten my ID card , but at 70yrs old, my Veteran cap and my original "dog tag", I can't believe the store manager would not approve the discount-a mere 10%. I don't fault the cashier who seemed fearful of making the decision. I ask for the manager. I wrote the corporate office and got the same response. Had I gotten an apology from corporate and an explanation of policy I'd consider shopping again. But my letter did not support trust on my claim as a vet nor did I get any apology! No more lowes for me, my family or anyone who I share my experience.
