First I have to say I don't usually buy at lowes, I spend $130000 to $160000 every year in supplies and I usually use Home Depot. I just move my business to a differebt area and decided to give it a try. I went to Lowes in Princeton, Nj. Walked in, almost empty, I was like:good for me. Expent almost 30 minutes cutting a mirror with an old guy, slow but polite, I have no problem, grabbed a couple tools, when I go to checkout only one lady is working and she cant handle the two registers in self checkout. Screams at customers, super slow. My turn, scanned my stuff and called her for help since the credit card reader is asking for my pin, I said I have no pin, she tryes to help me and she forces the card so hard that she breaks the card. I keep saying I dont have a pin, i usually hit cancel or a yellow button or the number sign. Shes is like, you need a pin. Manager comes and she says I cant buy there with that card, it is my visa bussiness card that I use every day at various locations. Never use a pin, lady goes angry and started smashing the glass on the machine to get ger id. She screams at customers waiting. She says loud, this is some ***. Customer leaves without taking items, same here, leaving the precut mirror and the tools. Ask the manager is she can try something, I mean, I use the card in at least 10 transactions a day, for the last 9 years, she says she cant. Im done with lowes the same say I started. Bad store, not nice people, they need to stay at home.

Lowes in East Point, Georgia - Ms. Latrell is Repeat rude cashier in garden center in Camp Creek store

There is a cashier in the Garden center at Camp Creek store in East point, called " Latrell". I'm a very loyal, repeat customer and she is the only employee in the garden shop that is ughhh... Irritating. She doesn't greet you initially, looks at you when walk in like you've got 3 heads. Ask her a question, she gives you an attitude in half. When she checks you out always acts like she's doing you a favor and looks mean, unwelcoming, no smile. How she got the job, I don't know. She always be talking to other employee gossiping in front of customers, ignoring you while she checks you out. She need some customer service training badly. They need relocate or retrain her because even the vendors smile answer questions and most importantly thank you for your hard earn purchases. My neighbor shops there and mentioned they had to report her to management before. Obiviously, nothing was done because she is still there in garden shop, messing up your garden shopping experience! If she continues to be there, myself and others say they will stay away and go elsewhere. Cause it's too much to deal with!

I made a purchase at Lowes on Commerce Palms Drive, Tampa, Florida 5/20/16. I purchased a stacking rocking chair from the back of the gardening section. It was dirty but was the cleanest of the others. I brought it to the cashier, and she said its a lovely chair but its filthy. I told her all of the chairs back there was in that condition. She gave my daughter windex and a paper towel and told her to get started cleaning while I was getting the money for her. I gave her $43 and joined in helping my daughter clean the chair. The cashier said I will put the change here on your phone for you ($0.22), I took my receipt and change from her and put it into my purse. I pulled the cart to the front of the cashier to not block the other customers behind me. After about 5 minutes i was finished cleaning the chair and gave the cashier back her garbage can, windex, and paper towel. I said thank you and proceeded to walk out of the door with my purchase when the same cashier abandons her customers and asks me did you pay for that? I dont think you paid for it. I said yes I did. She asked for my receipt, after looking at my receipt she says no this is not it, embarassing me in front of the other customers. Meanwhile I've got all of her customers eyeballing me as if I stole a big chair from the store. Then she says oh yes it is, ok you did pay for it. Then tells the other customers its a lovely chair but it was so filthy while I walked away. I was so upset I regret I didn't return it and buy the chair at walmart instead. I should have been offered a discount for the dirty chair I paid full price for, or at least the cashier could have gotten someone to come and clean it for us. Instead, I cleaned it myself with my daughter and was still racially profiled and accused of not paying for it by the cashier who I just paid.

lowes food store at Old OakRidge Rd,Greensboro,NC that young cashier who are not respect to elder people who are handicapped or deaf that no matters what younger cashier try to steal their food stamp EBT card by swap in 2 -4 times of more amounts that is wrong. young cashier supposed to be respectful and courtly to elder people in next time.

My husband and I have been to your store in gun barrel city at least 6 times in a month trying to buy an outside light and 2 phone calls and we have been given run around about ordering so tonight my husband went back in to see if it was in stock...there was 1 so he went to purchase it with our debit card and your cashier wouldnt accept it because it did not have his name on it but he is a signer on our account and we have same last name and same address so i had to go back after working 14 hrs today when we got back your store was closed.This store has the rudest and the most unhelpful employees I have ever come across I would appreciate a call back from your company I believe we have been patient through all this...this also has not been first time we ve had issues with this store its every time we go in there

I was in your store in Harriman, Tn. I was being rung up by a very young girl, she was having problem letting me split my payment, she ssk one of your senior cashiers for help, but before she could help her, that one grabbed the helping cashier and pushed her out of the way, that was very improper behavior, her tag said Toni. She does not belong in the front. She told me i had to pay cssh before it would let her put the amount i wanted to put on my card. I didnt want to pay any cash, i had 2 cards. I have done split payment before.

Then quit and find another job if you can.i went in to buy a 228.00 dollar hammock a young man who work their walk by look at me and kept on walking.big bulky box no help. go to the cashier one cashier working 6 people in line. customer service three people taking care of one customer. again no help poor service louse store I'm going to take my business back to home depot.better service better people and they don't run and hide when you walk in the store.once again you scuk.

Bad customer service in Kingston's Lowes

Well about 2 or 3 weeks ago I went in and bought up all their 14TPI and 18TPI Lennox brand ban saw blades. I usually pop in and buy ALL their stock for my company (about $500 a month). At the contractor check out the cashier circled and told me about the $25 discount coupon on my receipt that would expire on Nov. 11th 2015(Today). So I went into Lowes 2 days ago to get more ban saw blades and use my coupon. They still hadn't restocked, so I decided to come back on Nov. 11th to use the coupon. So again today, no band saw blades. But I didn't let that dampen my mood. I figured I could get other stuff anyways. So I picked up some metal shelving and power bars and other stuff to meet the $100 minimum which was required for the coupon. When I got to the cash I had $149 worth of stuff and since I need the receipts for my business I took a photo copy of my previous receipt with the bar code for the coupon so they could scan it etc. The cashier informed me that they needed the original receipt. She called the manager and the manager and the cashier discussed whether or not I should get the discount and they decided that I should not. They did not offer to reprint my original receipt. They did not even respond when I offered to bring the original receipt in tomorrow. So I just let them know they just lost a loyal customer and they just didn't seem to give a ***. Nice job Lowes in Kingston, Ontario. The manager's name was Sarah I believe and the cashier was some older lady who said "I don't know if this bar code will work" and then never even actually tried to scan it to see if it would work. Awesome customer service ! So Lowes, in case you are reading this and you want to identify your superstar employees, the cashier working the contractor checkout and the manager named working the store on Nov. 11th 2015 at roughly 5:00pm. All they had to do to keep me as a customer was make an effort. The manager never even left their desk. The cashier, rather than asking the manager if she could offer any solution, just seemed to be complaining to her about the fact that I didn't have a proper receipt. Anyways, I will be sure to tell other people about the lousy customer service at Lowes.
