Customer 5 episodes of very poor service in the last 60 days.The benefits of these issues? Continued lost time and money. Whether it's a one-day sale, that caused alot of confusion with management as well as my wife, to 13 gallons of paint mixed wrong ( Sheen) or waiting 45 minutes for help with several sets of deadbolts and locks, only to have them keyed alike, then going to install them and noticing that some of the hardware wasn't put back in the packages. I called the store and they had all the parts. I then returned to the store to retrieve the parts and nobody could find them. After talking to 3 associates they finally found the parts, inside the desk in the Hardware Dept. Oh yeah! and lets not forget this day. I went in and asked for Brick Mold (Primed) in the lumber department and was told they didn't know what it was, no we don't have any, and what is brickmold? Once again 3 Associates! The service at your store in Lubbock Texas is pathetic. We easily spend 10 to $15,000 a year at your store with our LAR account. And there's never a wait, when it comes to us paying our bill on time. My wife and I are at the end of our rope. I will say the situations were always taken care of after much leg work, phone calls and let's include the return trips to the store. It's my opinion that Lowe's owes us for lost time taking care of these situations. Renovations are hard enough without dealing with this!!!

I bought three window units from Lowe's and only use two of them one of them is still in its original box and plastic Lowes would not take it back if it was over 30 days old even with a receipt I could not get a store credit either I am just SOL I still have the receipt too

You leave out a few details. Were these windows bought from stock, or were they custom ordered for you?

My guess is that these were not stock windows. Stores don't have space to try and sell windows that are ordered to fit YOUR home.

Put it on Craigs list and sell it yourself. Next time don't order windows you don't need.

James island lowes store # 0661. Never have i had continued terrible service from one place so many times... customer service is a joke. Obviously these people are not trained to work with the public much less to actually do a job. /1st thing. why cant they do inventory adjustments if its not in and do a reorder. 2nd came in and had paints mixed material picked out and paid for to have contractors pick up. He got there noone hqd or knew anything. So, I had to go back and do again. 3rd i had simple materials for business orderd but no one called me. I stoped calling after 2 1/2 weeks they finally called 2 months latter.

After purchasing all of my kitchen appliances from Lowe's for a property I had just bought and was renovating, I was denied coverage for a faulty dishwasher when it broke within 4 weeks of using it. Although the appliances were purchased in August 2015 and the warranty was for a year, when the dishwasher broke in Sept. 2016 and I called Lowe's to offer proof that the dishwasher was not installed until renovations were complete and was not used for the first time until Aug. 31, 2016 I initially received good news. The gentleman who first took my call assured me that the warranty would be extended one extra month since I had never made a claim and because I had only used it for less than a month. He said a supervisor would call me back once they approved the extension. Two days later I got a very curt voice mail telling me that all they were willing to do was extend the warranty for 3 days. Totally ridiculous and useless. However, I am attorney and I know I am not just limited to a written warranty when an appliance breaks after being used for less than 4 weeks.

Lowe's doesn't provide the one year MANUFACTURER'S warranty. Your complaint is with them, not Lowe's

i was shopping on line for a BUNN coffee maker on the lowes website i found just what i wanted and then i was so glad when i went to check out it said that i could go to the store and pick it up today10/30/2016,that there was 5 available at the ROME store and ready for pick up today.Then i drove a half an hour to go to your store in ROME,NY. i ask where i could find the coffee makers the man told me they don't sell coffee makers anymore. I explained to him that i saw it on the computer so he looked it up and found just what i told him.he went to talk to the manager.When he came back he said i was correct there are 5 of those coffee makers in the store but he couldn't sell me one because he was saving them for black friday.I was dumbfounded , i told him" that is false advertising "he said well mame i can't sell it to you.i can understand that but your web site said plainly there were 5 of them available TODAYfor pick up at your store .I buy all my appliances at your store ,i meant I have in the PAST not any more.I wil be contacting the attorney general on this matter it is plain and simple false advertising.Pissed off,Ruth Vanderworken ,11264 rt 13 box 13,westdale ny,13483

So I went to Lowe's yesterday myself a 50 year old retired woman and my 7 year old granddaughter period after walking up and down the same aisle for 15 minutes looking for a piece of plywood actually 6 pieces of plywood... 3 pass me in the aisle trying to look busy ... will not look my way so I find the counter in the construction aisle... Another man standing there sideways he refuses to acknowledge my presence so I walk out I will never return to Lowe's I have to drive 20 miles further to Home Depot but that's where I will shut from now on. You seen the commercial of the couple trying to find help to buy a washing machine in a store similar to Lowe's or Home Depot and their hollering hello hello and the echo is coming back at them that's exactly how I felt yesterday while I was walking out of the store past six or eight other employees chatting with each other on their phones nobody acknowledged my presence in the entire store I had a tape measure in my hand that I return to the aisle that I got it from in the proper location.

Lowe's is a self service home improvement store. Always has been. If you actually wanted an employee to help you, you should have shopped at the local lumber yards and hardware stores when they were begging for your business 30 years ago.

Just went to the Voorhees NJ store to pay my bill. service desk had 2 women working and one just sat on the phone doing nothing. I waited 12 minutes and walked out. the people behind me did the same. Get yourself a new manager to run the store. This wasnt the first time. Btw- not one manned checkout open-only the the help yourself at the end. Millions of dollars in store costs and not 1 person to take your money. Explain to me how that works in business?????????? bad business bad business bad business bad business bad business!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How to run a business into the ground. time to go to the Home Depot!

Details
Need to schedule an install date for flooring. Both tile and carpet. Ultimate Home Services will not answer the phone. Once you get them on the phone and specifically request not to be transferred to voicemail they transfer you directly to voicemail. Honestly I have never had to work so hard to give someone my hard earned money . I have called at least 15 times, speaking with someone maybe three with a promise to call me back and it never happens. It is the worst example of customer service .

Lowes in Slidell, Louisiana - No help in window treatment department

I want to start with the fact I am remodeling a house and have spent a small fortune at Lowes, however, I have found a lack of help in many departments at the Slidell, LA store. Today I reached my limit. I need to order some window treatments for some oddball sized windows and needed advice on what would work best. Three times I went to customer service asking if someone could assist me. THREE TIMES NO ONE SHOWED UP!!! When I came home I called and reported this to the manager. I got a lame excuse they don't have anyone who is educated on their products enough to help me. REALLY???? Wish they had told me at the get go so I wouldn't have wasted my time. I told the manager HOME DEPOT will get my business from now on!

Lowes in Payson, Utah - 100% failure rate!

Since May through July, we moved to a new home in Clinton, Utah and we have many home-improvement projects so we very often to go the Lowes in Clinton to purchase items for said project. We have had trouble with some items purchased, because they were missing parts and having to go back to repurchase or get new parts. The worst thing though, was when we went to purchase paint from that store. We had to to to the store and get paint on 3 separate occasion, and each time we had to come back a second time to get the paint fixed. That is a 100% failure rate from the paint department. We are very disappointed. We went to get a paint color that was available in store called desert fortress. The first time we got a sample and it was way lighter than what was on the card. So we went back to have them fix it and they said next time when you come in, just tell them to add 50% more color. He wrote it on the side of the sample for us. The second time we went in, we needed 5 gallons of paint, and we brought the sample in, gave very specific instructions to the gentleman working at the paint counter to add 50% color. He nodded and said ok. We came home and was about to paint and found out that it was too light, like the sample was the first time. We went back with a FULL 5 gallon of paint and had them fix it. This is the fourth time we've been in the store just for paint and each time there's at least a 15 minute wait. The third time we went to the store to get 3 gallons of the same paint, we were greeted by a younger woman, we again gave her very specific instruction, mentioned that we have had to come back a lot to get the paint right to please make sure it is correct. She gave me this annoyed look like I am an *** for telling her too specific instructions, like hey! I got this! You worry too much. We walked out with 3 different cans of 1 gallon each of what she assured us was the correct color. We painted our vaulted bedroom with the first can of paint which was the correct color. Great! We were so excited, hey she did know what she was doing after all. We started painting late Friday afternoon after work, hoping to get everything done that night. By this time we had painted a couple of hours each day after work and almost all day on the weekend to get the whole house done. We finished the first coat of paint when it got a little bit darker. We opened a SECOND can of paint by the second coat. We noticed that the paint was a bit lighter when it went on, but the Desert Fortress paint goes on lighter and dries the correct color. So we went ahead and painted the second coat, tired but excited our big project is coming to an end. We kept painting, by the time we got two walls and the area close to the ceiling done we decided to hook our lights up since the paint isn’t drying right. And what do we know? The 2nd and 3rd paint can had the exact same color as the very first sample, which was at least 2 shades lighter than what Desert Fortress was supposed to be. By this time, it was 9:15 pm, and the store closes at 10, covered in paint, we decided there is not enough time to clean up and change and then go the store and wait for the paint to be made. So we went as we were, in our painting clothes, speckled with paint. We brought back 1 full can of paint, and one 2/3 full. We went to the paint counter and asked to talk to the manager. It took 5 to 10 minutes for the associate at the paint counter to talk to his manager and for her to come and talk to us. She looked at us like we were hobos and as we explained to her this is the 6th time we had to come back to the store to get paint. If we have to come back each time to get the correct color, that’s 100% fail rate. She looked at the labels on our paint cans tried to brush it off by saying: “These three cans had the exact same formula on it.” As if we were trying to scam them for more paint. I had to pull my phone out to show her how different the two shades look. I asked her: “What is going on? Please explain to me why we had to come back 3 out of 3 time of getting a paint color that is on a sample card that’s is in your store.” It shouldn’t be this hard right? She said: “I wasn’t there, I don’t know what happened. But on us, we will try and match the right color for you and will get you 3 gallons.” By this time, it was close to closing time and we couldn’t get through to her. She didn’t apologize so we agreed. We have to repaint THE WHOLE ROOM anyways. So three gallons should cover our bedroom and the other bedroom and we’ll be done. She told one of the associate to mix the paint for us and for them to call her to make sure the paint are correct when we pick it up. The associate at the counter matched the color for us, told us to wait another 15 minutes to get the paint. Exhausted, we just went to sit down and wait, thinking about how much time and effort we had wasted. After 15 minutes had passed, we went to the paint counter, there was THREE associates standing by idly by the mixer chatting and three paint cans on the counter. We waited patiently for a couple of minutes and no one offered us any help. So we had to ask if this was our paint cans and if we could take them. The person went to us and said sure. And we were told that they gave us a CHEAPER brand of paint because that was the “best match”. The store manager was nowhere to be seen. We walked out of the store with stares from other associates like we were lepers. Since May to July, we spend close to $2000 on various things at that particular store and were planning on getting a new fridge in a couple of months and we planned to redo our counters and carpet and was going to go to that particular store to get it. I ask you, what was done wrong on our part to make it seem like we were trying to get FREE paint? Since we brought back almost 2 cans full of paint, I think we could scrape up enough money to buy 3 cans of paint. We were disappointed by the way the store manager handled a complaint. We were embarrassed and are angry by the way we were treated: not as paying customers but as people who were looking for free things. We have some pavers that we have PAID FOR to pick up and after that we are no longer Lowes customers. We’d rather go ANYWHERE ELSE than to do business with Lowes again. We are very very unhappy with such poor customer service and having to deal with people who do not know what they are doing. We will be posting this on EVERY media page that we can get in touch with to warn people away from being treated the same way as well.

Lowes is notorious for their employees lacking proper training and in most cases the higher you go the less they actually know about the job. It does not help that they run on the "good ole boy system" so when interviewing they are now using a point system to decide on who to promote/hire and yet somehow plans are made to move people around and everyone knows who's getting which jobs before they're even posted (point system my *** Help buttons are a joke as I've had other employees tell me "oh somebody else will get it" I assure you 98% of the time all they want is to get you out the door as quickly as possible.

Please don't think that going to a department manager will help either as most of the time they bounce around hoping to cover all the departments so they move up to actual management and honestly know jack *** about whatever department they happen to be in at the time. I've watched so many them lie to customers about how to do things when they had no clue so they just winged it.

So if you want inexperienced, reluctant, eyerolling help then yeah Lowe's is your place.... if you want real help go somewhere local and talk to the old guy behind the counter who's actually done the work before.

When the corporate boys make it clear every day in every way that they consider employees to be non-human servants, some employees work only enough to meet those expectations.
