You are shopping at a big box self service store. What do you expect.

Why don't you go to your local full service lumber yard if you want someone to load your product for you?

Sure, you may pay a little more but do you expect the people that are there to load your product for you to work for nothing? It was your choice to shop at a big box store to save a few bucks so you really have no reason to complain.

There is truly not much that will or can be done. Once the product leaves the building and is paid for, it is now your product.

On the back to the receipt it does talk about Lowes no be responsible for loading and damages to your property from product during transport.

If you had followed normal protocol with Delivery. The unit would of been unwrapped and inspected prior to delivery.

If you had asked to leave the product in its original manufacturers packaging. I can clearly see how this is Lowe's fault for following your request and not seeing damage that was clearly covered by the Vendor. Dont buy appliances and let them sit. Unless you purchase a 3-5 year extended protection plan.

the warranty is one year from point of purchase. be better next time.

I can readily understand why the do not allow refunds on major items such as appliances, but minor items such as $10 yard lights. I am now a Home Depot customer even though they do not give discounts to Veterans.

Does your state license contractors? If it does you should file a complaint with the state.

It will put pressure on Lowes and their contractors.

In my state they also have a fund to compensate people who have lost money to fraudulent contractors. It could also strip them of their license and help avoid this problem for others in the future.

Jim at the Polaris store is the best! He is usually always on the floor to help me as the customer.... not behind a counter or desk. Jim will help you find what you need with pinpoint accuracy. If there is any questioning about alternative products Jim has competent suggestions also. When shopping Lowes be sure to see Jim, the big guy with the smile, Jim is like the Alexa app of Lowes! I have been working on one of my rental houses in Killeen the last month and always shop at Lowes. There are a lot of employees working there. However, they are focused on Lowes needs, not the customer that is needing help. You see them walking around like on assignment or setting up merchandise shelves but no one is asking if they can help you. I normally shop at the store closer to home in Temple. They are much more focused on customer service but could use more staff. I believe the issue starts with the local management. Employees need to remember the first reason they are there is for the customer, not their supervisor.

Anonymous you are basically an idiot - why order a pizza if you are going to pick it up?? Why reserve a rental car or purchase air fare if you are going to the airport?

People order online to save time and its a service that is offered Plus if there is only one item in stock if you order it online it can be pulled and set aside for you to pick up.

Some of us have real jobs and did not work at Lowe;s for 7 years because we aren't losers like you. The number of times you responded why shop online if you are going to the store anyway shows your stupidity.

You realize Lowe’s does not own or manufacture Samsung products? Lowe’s clearly states that appliances have a 30 day return/replace policy, after that you are under the manufacturer warranty and/or the extended protection plan from Lowe’s depending on if the protection plan started from date of purchase or picked up when the manufacturer warranty ended.

Lowe’s sends out a 3rd party repairman of Samsung’s choosing to repair you product, if after 4 service calls it cannot be repaired, it is up to Samsung to buyback (replace) the product.

All of this is in the extended protection plan booklet ( terms and conditions) you should have received when you purchased your product. So yes while Lowe’s is responsible for repairs under the plan, they are not responsible for replacing your product as it is not their product, but Samsung’s.
