Lowes in Dublin, California - Bad service

We ordered automatic roll down blinds for 2 windows the same size, when delivered one was an inch to long, it was cut down and re shipped to be installed, no mounting hardware or remote was brought, it was reordered, brought out today still not right size a 1/2 inch to long, this has been going on since September 2nd, we cannot get any results from Lowes in Dublin Ca.they say the it's installers problem, but these are the installers that Lowes use. We have spoken to several store managers there but still no satisfaction, does anyone have any suggestions how to get service.

- The reps made me wait an hour to place an order for a patio set, because they could not find the proper item and then promise me that there are 5 coming in the store and i will be getting one of them - promised ETA and call to confirm in 3 weeks, yet got none. - promised delivery will happen once items come in the store ( already told them since my first visit to the store that i am from another town ) - 3 weeks pass, i get no call, when i follow up, i am told that i will get a call that day, but 2 days pass and i still get no call - i follow up again by calling, i am told that my patio set has arrived in the store but i was not charged delivery on my first visit, hence i am made to drive from my town to the store because they cannot take charges on the phone or online. - I am told of final delivery date while i pay for my item. - One day before delivery date i receive a phone call claiming that they have oversold the item i had ordered. No one even bothered reconciling in their computer system to see i will not get the item in the 3 weeks since. - I got the bill for the patio set with interest charges, yet no one ever reconciled that the item will not even be given to me. - I conducted all followups, even from my order standpoint down to my complaint process, despite being promised call backs on multiple occassions. - Staff introduce himself as CSA and turns around to become the Store Manager when i voice my displeasure and ask to speak to senior management. - Store manager called to resolve, but i withdrew all business/orders i had placed as any compensation is not worth the negative experience and still having nothing to speak for. - Please learn from my frustrations and choose to go elsewhere.

I was very pleased with the services rendered by Mr Aaron at the delivery section (register 1) yesterday(Saturday). As promised by the person at the tiles section, the ceramic tiles boxes were not sent to the Register 1 after payment was made and I had to remind two or three time. There was considerable confusion in the section to locate the tiles boxes. At that time I had to inform Mr Aaron about the delay. He was very professional, courteous and apologetic. He personally talked to the concerned several times in arranging delivery of the two boxes. We could pick up only one and when I approached him again, he did all the paper work immediately and arranged for the delivery of the second box on another day. He promised us to arrange the delivery on Monday and we would hear from the delivery department on Sunday about the delivery schedule.He even made it free delivery for the customer inconvenience. Very happy with the service provided. As promised by him the delivery department called today and scheduled delivery tomorrow at 8.30 AM. Great service. I thought it necessary to express my satisfaction. I would like to rate his service at 5/5 stars Ganeshan Venkatesha Centreville VA

Lowes - Customer service is extremely poor

Found Spectracide Stump Remover on Lowes online...Showed store had 6 containers....Called store to confirm in stock before driving down to store....I advised person I spoke to on phone that online showed 6 in stock. but I wanted to confirm product was on shelf. After 3 phone calls and being on hold for 25 minutes, I was told it was in stock and on shelf....When I arrived at store they had none. Made a complaint with store manager, who also could not find product. Received call from seasonal manager day later that they found it in overstock. Employee on phone obviously didn't bother to check shelf. Day late, purchased it from different, more reliable online retailer.

Poor mattress store and you only have one cashier asked your associate why I only have one cashier 8 o'clock at night and he says honestly because they don't want to hire anybody and that's ridiculous just one of those things that make you question same reason why I guess we're having the crazy lection nobody cares

I mean what is a customer's favorite line when an employee gets an attitude? Who pays whoms wages? Sooo at what point do you have the idea that you as a customer have the right to complain about number of hired help at any retail establishment?

This complaint does not make sense to me with some of the misspelled words. It is not a complete sentence.

What happened to using correct spelling and correct punctuation?

Is this a legitimate complaint or do you just want to rant?

The cashier has NO control over Lowes hiring policies.

Senior management does. So call them and complain to them instead of complaining to the cashier who has NO control over this.

I bought over $3,000 worth of appliances and chuck b. Was super helpful and friendly on the other hand when i went to pay,the guy at customer service Tony the lead checker had a very bad attitude,we said we wanted our rebate through the mail but without asking he put it through email,we asked him to fix it but he refused and said he could not do anything to help us.so we went back to chuck b and he took care of us.later i went back to tony and when i asked for his name, he covered his name tag and gave me a false name,r olled his eyes and walked away. but i already had read his first name. No one should be treated like that his customer service sucks

Lowes in Worcester, Massachusetts - Can't get any call backs

I bought a consultation for a person to come to my home and evaluate what size screen door and type would be best in my home. Have had no call backs to set up. I have called several times and spoke with several people. Mike the manager has been of no help whatsoever. Truly very disappointed in this place. I will not ever use Lowes again. I will call HD and give them my business. This should be a simple task and yet they are giving me the run around. I believe Mike is now just avoiding the calls. He stated he would call back but has made no attempts to fix the situation / problem.

Ordered a Samsung dishwasher on line on 7/25/16. Website specifies "free local delivery" . OK. 2 days after I placed the order I fond out that my CC has already been charged for the amount. During this time I did not receive any calls or e-mails. I called the store 3 or 4 times until I was able to talk to a receptionist. I got transferred to Appliances and after 8 or 10 rings back to the receptionist. This went back and forth couple of times. Receptionist took my name and was told I will get a call back. Nope. I called next day and got a hold of customer service. Was told my appliance is scheduled to arrive on the 29th and I will be notified immediately. I inquired as to why my CC was already charged and was told this is the procedure when they order from the manufacturer. And I thought they are retail. No call on the 29th. I called and left a contact #. Got a call back in about 2 hours and was told the appliance arrived; but, if I want to get it quickly I should come and pick it up myself. Not funny. I opted for delivery and was told they'll not be able to deliver until 8/7/16. Again, not funny. This is the first and last time I will purchase anything form Carson City Lowe's. This is probably the worst customer service I ever encountered

You didn't purchase it from the store, you purchased it online. That is like buying it at one store and wanting it delivered by another. Things would have gone a lot smoother for you if you had actually gone to the store and made the purchase there.

We purchased a freezer on 8-16-15. The freezer isn't even a year old and ice forming on the inside (frost free). Called Lowes about repair, they set up a service call with "their" people who are the only ones in the Ft. Wane area that handles their repair. Unknowing to me I was told that Whitsman did their service. After the third service call no one even showed up!! After talking to management again they said " we will call someone. Guess who (their service people) again1 Really? I would think after all the trouble and since it's only 11 months old something else should be done. Better employee training sure would help! Telling everyone that I know not to deal with Lowes.

Lowes in Wake Forest, North Carolina - Customer Service (NOT)

Let me relate a recent experience with LOWES’ Home Improvement, from which others may learn. I have a small project I am trying to complete, and need to obtain some materials. I attempted comparison-shopping to source the needed materials. The Home Depot web portal was user unfriendly, so I opted for the user friendly LOWES' site, though was unable to find the quantities of the materials I needed at my local store (perhaps that should have been my first hint to abandon LOWES). I then called 1-800-445-6937 for help, and explained my situation, and the Customer Service Agent was kind enough to find the quantities in stock at another store, and create an order (324928727) for the materials. This all occurred on July 9, 2016. Unfortunately, the quantities in stock were in the LOWES' of Smithfield, and I requested home delivery (Lake Royale). The distance between the two exceeds the delivery area for home delivery. Of course, Lake Royale is outside of Smithfield's delivery area, so I then received a call from a LOWES' of Smithfield cashier relaying a message from the delivery manager that the order was being canceled. I asked why the order could not be transferred to a local store (store-to-store transfer), and was informed that the cashier was just relaying a message. So, I could not argue the point and pursued by calling again to the 1-800-445-6937. After explaining the circumstances, I was assured the order was not cancelled, and that LOWES would facilitate having the order fulfilled by a local LOWES Home Improvement. I received a call (I have a VM from Terry @ LOWES Customer Care stating the order was transferred to the Wake Forrest location and Eddie would handle the process). This was the culmination of more than six phone calls just for one ‘simple’ order. To this day, that order can still be called up on the LOWES portal. But wait, there is more. After diligently checking the status on line (IN PROCESS - View Delivery Details), I called the Wake Forest LOWES today (July 23) to obtain an update on the order. After receiving quizzical responses on the phone, I was told that Eddie was off today, but they would call him and obtain an update on the processing of the order. Two hours later, I received a call from Parka at the LOWES corporate office stating that the original order had been cancelled, funds credited back to my account, and the process needed to start over again, but it will now not be until another two weeks (August 9) that everything can be available for delivery. So, I started out with an order on July 9 (324928727), I had to post-pone my small project until July 23 for materials, and now due to the failure of a supposedly reliable supplier, will have to source and continue delays on this simple project. Needless to say, I have no intention of ever stepping inside a LOWES' Home Improvement store again. Their incompetence and customer dis-Service knows no bounds. Managers who care little or nothing for making the process work are truly exemplified at LOWES. Lesson learned: 1. Using a web portal is great, but sometimes nothing beats brick and mortar for that face-to-face experience. 2. Low prices may be part of their brand, but that should warn the consumer on the lack of Customer Care.
