Over the past 5 days from 4/26 through today, 4/30 I have gone to the Lowes store at New Center Point 5 times and have been served by 4 different plumbing "Associates". All I needed was a way to connect a new kitchen faucet to 3/8" PEX and I have done this many times before using Shark *** products. The 4 associates tried to sell me valves I did not need and 3 things instead of 1. Today when I went back for the final time the plumbing associate I saw yesterday saw me and walked away. This is terrible customer service. I have never received such terrible customer service at Home Depot or Ace hardware. This Lowes need to teach their associates the correct way to fix things instead of constantly trying to upsell customers things they do not need.

If you know what you needed why did you ask 4 associates for help? It doesn't sound like you bought what they were "trying to sell you." Did you ever stop to think that they may have been right and that if you bought what they were "trying to sell" you that you wouldn't have had to make 5 trips to the store?

I'd walk away from you too if you had waisted my time yesterday by ignoring my advise. I am sure I could find someone else to help that will listen to what I had to say.

Go to a local plumbing and heating company. You cannot expect the sales personnel at big box stores to know anything other than how to get in touch with their feelings as they have been taught in today's public schools.

The parts guy in a local plumbing company is required to know what he is selling. Good luck.

Lowes contracts Thieves

Lowes hired a subcontractor to install carpet in my home. I left the workers alone at my home for around 1.5 to 2 hours and I returned home to find my refrigerator had been stolen. I immediately contacted the subcontractors supervisor and he stated that he does not believe his workers would steal. I filed a police report. Then I contacted Lowes and the subcontractor's business, once again and they were very unhelpful and practically refused to assist me and would not accept responsibility. They said, "Let the police complete their investigation and find your refrigerator." This is just unbelievable! I will never use their services again!!! Lowes hires AND allows criminals to work in your home!

Lowes in Monroe, New York - IS THERE ANYBODY HERE TO HELP ME ?

Lowes (and Home Depot) never seem to have anybody in the departments to help you.You stand around a department waiting then an associate says ill get you someone and you continue to wait wait wait. Also, Lowes in Chester NY use a very poor shipping company.It took 5 weeks my flooring order to come in and the shipping company said t 1) we will only keep your order foe 2 weeks, after that you have to pay storage fees & we need 48 hours notice for a change of delivery date. At least they make it cohesive to match up w the poor customer service in their stores.

Lowes Customer Care Review from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

I just came from the Warrington,Pennsylvania Lowe's and did not have a great experience. I wanted to buy several bags of mulch and was looking for one of the flat steel carts. I went to several of the staff and asked where they were and I was told go out the parking lot and find one. The cashier in the garden center was not friendly and was not open to my suggestion that someone bring some carts in from the parking lot for people to use. Aaron Drellich, store manager, this is an issue you should address.

Lowes in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania - LOUSY customer service

Yesterday, I placed an online order for two packages of grommets totaling $2.34. I did so because Lowes online ordering and pickup is supposed to save me time. I arrived at the store in Harrisburg, PA to pickup the order, and only one person (Dom) was working in customer service. She was helping another line with returns. After a good 10 - 15 minutes I asked her to alternate between the two lines. She ignored me, did not even acknowledge that I had spoken. I asked her again several times, and each time it was if I had not even spoken. After I had been waiting at least 30 minutes, Donna showed up and punched in. She then proceeded to help a customer who TOLD HER that he had already been helped, despite my objections. It yet took another associate showing up after I had been waiting aver 40 minutes to get me these grommets! I took down the telephone number of the store manager as I left and called in, getting the service desk. They supposedly transferred me to Stephen, the manager, but I suspect it was not really him, Whoever I spoke with said that this was "unacceptable" and that he would talk to the two people I mentioned, but he did not want me coming back in to the store from the parking area from where I was calling when he did so. I am infuriated with the entire experience, and will most likely be taking my future business to Home depot. Although this purchase was small, I am the owner of an old home with an acre of property, and I have done a *lot* of business with Lowes in the past.

Most all grommets are right down in Hardware section... it would have taken you 4 minutes to walk down and get them.

Unless you are too "lazy"& I do believe that's the case here not to save time

It's a new trend by millennials to walk in the store sit down at customer service bench and do all their shopping online, "on their ***" It is not about saving time it's about being too darn lazy to walk around the store!!!

They then get upset if the stuff isn't brought up to the CS desk immediately or within 15 minutes

Sorry but most sales associates are busy helping the non-lazy customers actually walking around the store to buy stuff I've seen this many times so when they send down an internet order I do not fill it until all my "in store" customers are all set.

Sounds like you would have saved yourself alot of time and trouble over $2.34 if you just got off your lazy ***, grabbed your grommets, went through the check out and went home.

Lowes in Salisbury, North Carolina - Tried to return a gift i got.

I recently received a under ground fence for my three dogs since we were moving and had to way to contain our dogs. After talking to many people that said the fences didn't work that great i decided to take it back and just exchange for a 10 x 10 kennel. When i took it back the lady said that she couldn't take it back without a receipt because it was a high priced item. I explained to her that i got as a gift and did not have the receipt. She then said that i better call whoever gave it to me and get the receipt. I ask her what made this item a (high dollar item) and she couldn't tell me just kept saying i needed the receipt. I ask her if there were certain items that have to have a receipt did the cashiers remind customers of this? She said it wasn't Lowe's job to tell all the customers and they should have ask!! about the return policy....I kept trying to get an answer on what made this item special that i had to have a receipt only to get know where. Then a lady manager butted in and told me that they (not Lowe's) have the right to decide if they need a receipt ?? I have never been treated like this before at Lowe's and can assure it want happen again !!. I thought managers were suppose to help with the issue in this case she just made it worse. Poor Training and poor leadership leads to this. Oh and the problem with hiring individuals that shouldn't be in customer service!!

Most stores have policies like this especially with high priced items. Why throw a temper tantrum, it won't get you anywhere. Not only that people find it funny when an adult throws a temper tantrum like some four year old when they don't get what they want.

That is not Lowes policy if you asked for a manager he/she would have returned it ...especially for a store credit but not for cash without a receipt. At my store I've seen them return stuff we do not even sell, Home depot items

First, you need to understand that retail stores are under no obligation to take anything back once it is sold. You were trying to return a high priced high theft item.

If in fact it was purchased, rather than stolen, someone should have a receipt.

Once you have the receipt, if there is one, return the fence. If you can't get a receipt don't expect them to give you a refund for a product that wasn't paid for.

You have to be able to provide proof of purchase to any retailer on any item regardless of how expensive it is to get a refund or exchange. That is the law.

This is to protect retailers from people that steal items and try to return them for cash or exchange for something that was too big to sneak out under there coat. Thousands of people try this scam everyday.

I shop everyday at Lowes of Monroe, Wa. I deal with the Contractors Desk directly . ***, she has been there for a while now. She is the greatest thing Lowes has ever done by hiring her. *** knows her stuff. SHE IS THE MIST HELPFUL PERSON IN THAT DEPARTMENT. She was with Home Deep Rot for many years running the Contractors Desk and Mill Works. I known her for many many years. She is the best person there and a lot of Contractors feel the same. She is very knowledgeable on products and goes way out of her way to maje sure we the public it taken czre when we need help. It was Lowes best thing in hiring her for the contractors desk. She is the greatest asset to that store. So lowes should mske sure she us taken care of or they could lose a lot of business if she left. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK ***.... YOU ARE THE BEST THING THAT HAPPENED TO LOWES IN MONROE, WA.

Lowes in Calgary, Alberta - I guess I will have to stay with Home Depot

I am a general contractor with Wenzel's Construction, I have two substantial orders for fence/Deck in Auburn Bay. I deceided to try Lowes with the 10% discount. I went in to Lowes 130th applied, the clerk was entering all my information, the manager came over angry saying I had to fill out the long form. I did so about 15 mins later I was turned down for the card. I was told to contact 1-866-855-4432 reference WAAS50. When I tried this # I was told by a credit manager they would not deal with me that they would only deal with the store. They did say I would receive a letter from them on the reasons I was turned down in 30 days. What a complete waste of time. I have three cards Visa, Home Depot and Amex, never missed a payment and am well below my limits. I when I applied to Home depot, I received a card in 10 mins. Again a waste of time. Lowes in Stevens Point, Wisconsin - Pella Windows And Doors - Pella windows installed - not keeping asian beetles out!!! Frustrated!

Lowes responded with a contractor and their window department manager for an inspection of all the windows(from the inside). They did not look from the frame of the window outside. Right now they are planning to come back in May once the WI weather has warmed up to caulk the windows in channels that they feel the beetles are entering through. My understanding is that some of these channels are meant to be for drainage? I continue to suck up a swarm of beetles each day as the sun warms the east and southern exterior windows..... Am hopeful this will 'help' the problem but will wait and see.

I went into Lowes today on W.Stone Dr. Kingsport TN. There was two female employees standing there while another male one was helping a customer. As i was looking for the part i needed, both of the females kept talking to each other and paid me no mind, not even asking if i needed any help. Finally got fed up after a few minutes of searching from isle isle, i began walking out of the plumbing department. Then the two females ask if i needed any help. I tolkd them it was too late and i would buy what i need somewhere else. As I walked past them both of them started laughing. I worked in customer service for many years, this is not good service. Have spent alot of money at this store in past. It will now be a last resort that I buy anything from this store. Also will advise others to do the same.
