THE WORST RUN STORE I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED. THE OFFICES IN NC SHOULD BE PISSED. THE VINCENNES INDIANA STORE 1610 HAS GONE STRAIGHT TO ***. YOU CAN NOT FIND ANYONE TO HELP YOU. THERE IS NO ONE ON THE FLOOR. NO COVERAGE SCHEDULED . SO MYSELF ALONG WITH SEVERAL OTHER CUSTOMERS WONDERING & TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT'S WHAT. NO ONE AROUND ANYWHERE. MY WIFE & I WENT TO THE HELP DESK & ASKED. 'OH WELL SALES ARE DOWN SO WE ARE SENDING PEOPLE HOME' WHAT??? CUSTOMERS STILL NEED HELP WHAT IS THIS *** STORE MGR THINKING? I'LL TELL YA WHAT THAT SORRY GREEDY *** IS THINKING. IF I COME UNDER BUDGET I GET A BONUS. SO HE SCREWS HIS STAFF THAT NEED TO WORK & THE MONEY. AND THOROUGHLY SCREWS THE CUSTOMERS, BECAUSE OF HIS NEED TO FILL HIS UNDESERVING POCKETS. I'M MORE THAN PISSED. I USED TO RECEIVE THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE. NOW THIS NEW STORE MANAGER HAS TAKEN AWAY THAT SERVICE. ALL MY BUSINESS IS GOING ELSE WHERE. FIRE ALL YOUR SO CALLED UPPER MANAGEMENT IN THIS STORE. THEY DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I HOPE YOU GET SUED.

What happens when your expenses are higher than your income? Kids can't eat right?

No roof under their head right? No clothes for their back?

Like customers love to point out YOU pay the wages. If YOU ain't paying people aren't going to work for free because of the reasons that I just listed.

I called in an order today because my website checkout has not been working properly the last few weeks. I placed my order with Danica (super nice and helpful BTW), who confirmed my order and its delivery to the Nacogdoches, Texas location, which is the closest store to me. She totalled my order and told me that Lowe's would be calling me today or tomorrow, because they had one of the items in stock. (The reason I called to place the order is that I had just been in the Nacogdoches location and saw the item, but it was priced $30 to $40 higher than their website advertised) Sure enough, the Nacogdoches location called, but it was to tell me I couldn't have the item in stock because it was the display, and that they did not know if they'd be receiving anymore. Now, mind you, I have already invested a ton in this project and needed that item, and was told by Danica that I could buy it, only to have the Nacogdoches store tell me they'd refund my money so I could go find it elsewhere. Their Lufkin location had some in stock, but I had to suggest that they move one from the Lufkin location to Nacogdoches for me to pick up....they seemed very perturbed at the suggestion that THEY handle it, rather than refunding my money and making the hour drive to the location myself to buy it. Even when I buy a vehicle, the dealer locates it and arranges to bring it to that location. Makes me question the over 10 years of business I and my family have given them. The manager was in the background being very unhelpful, just as unhelpful as the associate on the phone. If this item comes in and they attempt to charge me the $30 to $40 difference in the online vs. in store price, I will be filing a formal complaint against them for false advertising. Extremely unhappy with the Nacogdoches location's sub par performance. Home Depot may be getting a new customer soon.

Being a senior citizen I find sub par customer service is the norm today. Loews is hardly alone but my past experience with Home Depot was worse.

However, they seems to have improved somewhat. The main issue today is the drive for performance to satisfy Wall Street. The CEO's make their eye popping salaries and to achieve their lofty goals, have to trim costs somewhere. I wonder if by the transfer you mentioned one store gets no credit for the sale while the other does.

Seems if you buy online but pick up at store, they do not get credit for the sale at retail. Might do better face to face then on the phone or online.

I suggest you shop at Costco. The service there is excellent and as new member I can see why people keep going back.

I purchased a toilet from them. It already needs a part to make it stop running. I ordered and paid for it three weeks ago. We checked on it at least 6 times. They just kept saying it wasn't in yet. On Friday, my husband asked to speak to a manager. There was no manager on duty at 4:00 p.m. On Friday! Yesterday they said they forgot to order it. I contacted corporate twice. They refuse to respond. Every time I go in there I have a very difficult time getting anyone to help me. Last time it was in the carpet department. I own my own home and five rental units. I will not purchase anything else from Lowe's. I will tell everyone I know about my experience and I hope other people stop shopping at Lowe's too.

Lowes knowingly deals with an inferior delivery company

After an awful experience with the local delivery company XPO Last Mile Courier in Massachusetts, we looked online and found only complaints regarding this company. XPO guys damaged our new refrigerator since the only thing they were interested in was collecting out old one with all the accessories (we were *** enough to allow then to do it), instead of the proper installation of the new appliance they were delivering. They did not take the fridge doors off hinges and squeezed the fridge with the doors open through the house door. We had to wait for a replacement and specifically asked the Lowes rep to send us someone more skillful. After multiple communication troubles with XPO and Lowes which are too long to describe, the same *** appeared again. Asked to remove the door, the driver (the one who damaged the fridge in the first place) started looking for wiring and tubing behind the door, although the fridge did not even have a water dispenser which was obvious from its appearance. When we commented on that he behaved arrogantly and left without making the delivery. The Lowes rep explained us that they are aware of problems with XPO, but this is their only choice in our area. So, they knowingly subject customers to dealing with an incompetent and fraudulent delivery company?!! Probably they share the illegal proceeds? XPO is certainly moonlighting at the expense of Lowes customers, since they habitually delay deliveries for hours and days. Lowes does not care - the reps try to convince you that they are in control (in our case someone named German said many times that he is monitoring our case. It turned out another lie. They lie to you when you order, then lie promising cempetent installation, then lie telling that thay offered to send a technician for installation. We call Customer Care who promised to get back within 24 hour. The only thing they did is to suggest the local Dedham, MA store to give us a refund. No compensation for troubles, no old fridge which the XPO thieves houled away and probably sold. Of course, it would be another trouble if we decided to sue them. Both Lowes and XPO have means we consumers don't have. At least we can warn others. I am thinking it must be possible to find a small local company selling appliances and buy a fridge from them. Forget Lowes, Home Depot and the like - they make huge money and can afford losing couple of customers.

"Customer Service"? Are they kidding? | Lowes in Colorado

I spent more than an hour, a dozen phone calls, and talked to a couple of very dumb girls, trying to reach someone in "customer service" with a clue. I can't count how many times I was put on terminal hold, disconnected, sent to a line that only rang and rang and rang. I was told by one of the *** girls that Lowe's doesn't have more than one refrigerator and it is backordered, another *** girl said there's nothing she can do to refund an order because of some *** internal reason that is of no concern to me. I will never spend one more penny with Lowes.

I in no way believe this even happened, sounds just like customer expecting something for nothing...

Here's another clueless person that thinks retail stores run into the back room and build products when they order them. If they don't have any more and can't get more from the manufacturer in a reasonable time or the product is no longer made most reasonable people would want a refund so they can buy something else. I expect most stores would be happy to have a person with your attitude shop elsewhere.
